the sun doesn't like you, you always get burned, stay in the shade AND WATCH THE WORLD TURN. BETTER FIND A NEW PLACE TO LAY ON THE GROUND, CAN'T STAY WHERE YOU ARE OR YOU'RE GONNA BE FOUND. AND TIME WON'T PASS YOU BY, AND I WON'T TELL YOU LIES. SO TONIGHT WE CAN BUILD A FIRE, ------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------ BRING PART OF YOURSELF THAT YOU'LL LET ME KEEP.
Agito was back on the floor, his eyes closed as Carmen spoke, and she very nearly back-handed him for it, but stopped herself. Then, he just told her to sit, reminding her that she was in the dojo and that all the rules still applied. She rolled her eyes and just glared at him for several long seconds, her arms crossed tightly and angrily across her chest. After she got done glaring at him, she just rolled her eyes and tossed her arms up in the air, letting them slam against her sides before she finally sat herself down with her legs crossed and her hands on her knees, tapping the index finger of her right hand against her knee with impatience as she waited for him to speak, not bothering to dignify his command with any sort of response other than simply to comply. It seemed that he had been waiting for her to sit, because when she had gotten herself settled in, Agito finally began to speak again. “I understand that you are American and it is difficult for you to understand things such as honor and tradition. I also understand that the English language is difficult to understand when it is not your native tongue. Things that are said can be interpreted differently than they are meant. With that in mind I may have acted in a way that didn't fit the situation.”
Carmen let out a satisfied, non-commital grunt and turned her head away from him. “You’re damn straight you did,” she muttered, not even really sure what she had said that had upset him so. Nothing she had said had been an insult to him or anything, and who wanted to feel inferior? It was a horrible feeling, and if you knew you were better than your opponent, then you knew you would win and weren’t going to die. If that was wrong, then Carmen probably wouldn’t want to be right. When his quasi-apology was said and done, Agito had lain back against the floor of the dojo and Carmen rolled her eyes. At least whatever it was that had gotten him all up in arms, he’d gotten over it. Still glowering and in a sour mood, Carmen remained seated, her arms crossed over her chest with irritation. So what if they were in the dojo. . . it wasn’t as if they were actually training. The air was considerably cooler, and though it didn’t bother Carmen—she was always cold, now—it made her sigh. “I miss being warm,” she commented with a quiet voice once she had calmed down.

"Warmth?....I don't even really know what that is.....I've always been cold, I was born cold and so to will I certainly die." he responded to her comment about missing being warm. Perhaps it was harder for someone who had lost something than someone who had never had it was his conclusion. He saw the idea of warmth as trivial, being cold naturally didn't affect them so there was no reason to need warmth. Carmen however had been human once. Unlike him she knew what it was like to walk in the sunlight See her reflection in a mirror. Agito rolled onto his side and gazed at Carmen. "if it were possibly for me to give you the sun. I would do so...I'd offer to warm you up, but we both know I'm as cold as you are...so nothing would change" he stated as he tapped his fingers on the floor in boredom. He closed his eyes and focused of getting some sleep It had now been over a day since he's slept prolly not a major health issue but really made him moody

“Warmth. . . ? I don't even really know what that is. . . I've always been cold, I was born cold and so too will I certainly die,” he responded. Carmen lied down on her side, using her arm as a sort of pillow. The ground in the dojo was a lot harder than her bed, but she would probably get comfortable eventually. She sighed quietly and looked over at him. “I know. The cold doesn’t really bother me, I don’t shiver or anything, but it was nice, the feeling of being warm. Hard to describe.” She looked at Agito as he turned on his side to face her, and she lifted her head and propped it up on her fist, listening to him as he spat out some cheesy line about giving her the sun. She rolled her eyes at the offer, but she was smiling at him, a crooked grin that seemed half amused and half flattered. Especially at the part about him offering to warm her up had he not been as cold as her. Carmen laid her head back down on her arm and just smiled. “Well, it doesn’t matter. If I weren’t complaining about being warm, then I wouldn’t be a vampire, and I never would have met you. So I suppose I shouldn’t hate my sire so much.”

Her sire, it was a subject he had long forgotten about in all right he felt that he was her sire though he could never sire a fledgling of his own. Centuries selective breeding had rendered the need to turn humans pointless. As such their fangs evolved the ability to prevent blood from clotting making feeding a simpler task but because the bleeding would not stop humans that were bitten would bleed out and die before they could be turned. His was one of the few vampire clans capable of birthing fledglings naturally. Humans were merely a food source. It was rare for a human that was turned to be able to procreate with a vampire of pure blood or otherwise. Or so he had been told. "what..no sarcastic remark in response my shameless flirting? Seems like I've finally chiseled through that wall of yours." He smirked at her. He was gonna joke about her clothes being the only barrier left but he figured it was safer to save lines like that for when he was at full strength. You know in case she tried to kill him.

“What. . . no sarcastic remark in response my shameless flirting? Seems like I've finally chiseled through that wall of yours,” Agito commented snidely. Carmen rolled her eyes and turned back on her back, staring up at the ceiling with her hands folded against her chest. Her mouth opened in a slight yawn and she knew she would drifting off to sleep soon. Fighting had always made her more tired than usual. “Well when you pull out likes like giving me the sun—which by the way, I think it’s normally the moon and stars—it just loses its appeal! So you’ve officially gotten so cheesy it just isn’t worth it anymore,” she responded with a sharp nod of her head, acting serious for a few seconds before she turned and grinned at him.

Agito chuckled at her retort "Always something smart to say huh?" he jeered playfully at her. "You complain about missing being warm but yet you want something as dark and cold as the moon? And what of the stars aren't they simply sun's that are farther away?" He asked rhetorically. He shrugged at the idea. His English was pretty good now considering most of what he learned he learned from Carmen and of course television, but some phrases and words still confused him. He scooted over closer to Carmen so that he was only a few inches away. "go to sleep" he whispered though by his actions one would have assumed it would have been something a lot more interesting.
Agito closed his eyes content with the current situation. He found it was becoming increasingly difficult to be angry at her even if the situation demanded such a response. This time she had thoroughly pissed him off and even so he was the one that ended up apologizing in the end. The situation was a tad bit backwards, but there personalities were to similar. If someone didn't compromise they would grow to hate each other quite quickly.

“Always something smart to say huh?”
“Well I’m a smart girl,” Carmen replied with a sly grin, lifting her other hand to look at her nails. They were short from behind chewed on, but they were clean. She rolled her eyes when he commented on her response on the moon and stars, and Carmen just stuck her tongue out at him in a rather childish manner. “It was just an example, I’d rather keep the celestial bodies in the sky where they belong, thank you.” She didn’t move away from him as he moved closer to her, but she rolled her eyes and half expected him to attempt to grope her—an action which would end with his wrists broken. Carmen’s pass-time hadn’t exactly left her completely untouched, but she had always managed to subdue her attackers before anything else could go on. She snorted when he told her to go to sleep and she rolled her eyes. “What if I don’t feel like it right now?” she whispered, as if trying to be respectful to the fact that he was trying to sleep.

Agito shrugged at her question. "well I guess you'll just have to lay there and be bored until you finally fall asleep." he stated without opening his eyes to look at her. There was no clock or any other way to tell time within the dojo. He would have the check periodically to see if the sun had went down. but at this time they had at least 12 hours until it was dark enough for them to venture out of the room, and as tired as Agito was from Carmen disappearing on him and then sparring. He would probably sleep those entire twelve hours if not more. He just hoped that when he woke up. That she would still be there. He felt himself finally starting to drift off. No matter how much he wanted to fight it and just lay there with her. It was a losing battle at this point.

Carmen rolled eyes and shook her head with a smile. “Well, thanks for your concern,” she remarked sarcastically, closing her eyes and moving her arm out from under her head and laid flat against the floor of the dojo, her arms curled by her chest, brushing Agito’s since they were so close. Keeping her eyes closed, she slowly let herself drift off to sleep. She was tired despite her rebellious comment earlier, and though she had gotten better sleep than Agito obviously had when she had gone missing. He probably needed more sleep than she did, but the sparring match had taken a bit of out of her. She almost always overexerted herself in a bad fight because she didn’t know how to pace herself—because she wasn’t afraid of getting worn out and cared not about her personal limits—but so long as she didn’t go completely overboard she wouldn’t black out until after the fight was over and her adrenaline ebbed. Carmen let out a quiet breath as she sank into sleep.
