When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ He hadn't been gone that long. Least he didn't think he had been. Urjasz remembered Hard Rock as the quiet cafe where he could have a drink or meet up with some contacts. Hell, the Gorchakov's invested in the place. Now the street had been torn up and replaced with one of those corporate casinos. According to his contact in New York, the Gorchakov's sold part of their share to the casino firm, but kept enough to be part of it. This is where Urjasz came in. They needed a few extra hands on the door and who better to do it than him. His things set up at his home, he only had one thing left to do after this job. Go to the mansion and see how people were doing. Or more importantly, to see if they were even still there. The shift was fairly easy. Keep an eye out for cheaters and make sure there wasn't any trouble. According to some of the regular doormen it was a fairly quiet night, which Urjasz secretly sulked over. He hadn't come for the pay or the favour of the Gorchakov's. A few pints and a quick game was his real intention, but a quiet night would bore him of the place before he had a chance to sit down. Several hours passed and his shift came to an end. The place was one of these 24 hour casinos, so a shift change halfway through the night wasn't that surprising. It gave him a little while to do things for himself at least. Returning the staff clothes to the locker he'd taken them from, he quickly dressed and made his way down to the bar. Pulling out a stool, he placed himself up upon it and ordered a pint of lager. Swirling round, he leaned back against the bar and had a good look across the casino, the night's habits still fresh in his mind. The bundle of tax free cash in his pocket burned at his side, his mind trying to decide if he should gamble or not. Deciding that a human lifetime of gambling debts was bad enough, let alone an immortal's, he turned back to face the bar and slowly drank his lager. People came and went from the bar, most only coming to grab a drink quickly so not to loose their winning streaks. They always ended up the same, walking out the door with no money in their pockets. Finishing his drink, Urjasz left the bar and made his way out the back of the casino, entering a road sized alleyway. Flicking open his lighter, he lit a cigarette and leaned against the wall. It was a slow a slow night tonight. Alek had been scouting this area a lot lately it turned out that there was a lot of Vampire activity around here, but tonight was quiet. He had been able to get one or two on each of his previous nights perhaps he had thinned the herd a bit to much for this place to be a successful hunting ground any longer. Which was good. He thought of each immortal he took down as the equivalent of saving 3600 human lives. Some were worth even more than that. Over his lifetime how many human deaths had he prevented? Alek turned down a back alley near a casino which he used often on his way back to his safe house.
Alek silently down the alleyway. He had an unlit cigarette sticking out of the corner of his mouth, while mumbling something about losing his lighter. The brief flash of flame ahead caught his attention and he smirked. The guy up ahead go provide him with a light, and if he didn't Alek would just take one from him anyway. He paused one he was closer to the man just far enough to indicate that he wasn't gonna start any trouble, being that they were in a dark alleyway and he was a pretty intimidating guy especially in the dark. "You can give light?" he asked curiously indicating toward the unlit cig that hung loosely from his lips. He could smell once he got closer that this guy wasn't human, but he wasn't a threat yet. He wouldn't engage were that weren't shifted without cause. Right now to him even if this guy was a were of some kind he was also just a guy that could offer him a light for his smoke.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ He had barely taken his first puff of his cigarette when it was revealed that he wasn't alone. Slowly turning he spotted the man to his side. It wasn't that surprising to see someone back here, it looked like a path through the streets. The guy hardly looked like someone afraid of the dark after all. Pushing off the wall softly, he made his way to the man and held his lighter up, the fire sparked as he opened it. Holding it up for the man to light his cigarette, he waited until he did so before flicking the lighter shut with a loud snap. Dropping it into his pocket, he took another puff of his own cigarette, looking the man over. Tiger. Threat? Yet to be seen. Immortals hardly went around unarmed, least the older ones. "Name is Urjasz. Don't see many of you guys in these parts."Leaning against the wall once more to put some space between them, he waited for a reply whilst smoking his cigarette. The guy seemed Russian, an accent he could pick up on the spot after spending three months in their capital. "Russian right? I've just come over from Moscow. Polish myself, but been about the world for some time. You'll pick up on the English after a few years, maybe even a few months. This girl I knew once, little Russian hyena, she picked up the language pretty quickly. Though I think she had been here awhile before I met her. Ah well, point still counts." The man might not care enough to stick about, but Urjasz wanted to come across as laid back. If this immortal was aggressive, he sure as hell didn't want to be the one provoking a fight. He liked this coat after all.

Urjasz Alek searched his memory a little as he took a well deserved puff of his cig it couldn't kill him so he had no need to consider quitting. Coming up with nothing in his memory concerning the name he nodded. "Aleksei" he stated between puffs of smoke. By you guys he assumed he meant his type. "Tiger's" they weren't very common at all. a while back he heard there was a pack of about 3 or 4 of them living in the city, females too, but he was never able to locate them. Perhaps it was for the best he didn't like killing his own kind so much.
"Yes I am Russian" he responded slowly, to prevent translating his Russian thoughts into the wrong English words. He inhaled deeply and smirked. "Tiger not so much, Dog like you..everywhere." he stated He was not intending to insult the man by calling him a dog. He just wasn't sure how to say Volki (wolf in english) He shrugged his shoulders and continued on his way down the alleyway "Spasiba" he said once again indicating to the cig, in an attempt to thank him for the light.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ It was confirmed that the man was indeed Russian and Urjasz gave a slight nod as if to say he understood. Aleksei seemed quiet, but Urjasz wasn't sure how good his English was. Knowing the Russians to be quite bold people, it was odd that all the Russians he met over here seemed to be fairly quiet. Least the shifters anyway. In terms of vampires they were varied. Aleksei's comment about his kind amused him. At first he was listening purely to see where he was going with the remark, but the tone didn't seem to be that offensive. "You should try the casino. Lots of your kind in there. Lots of pussy" he joked, indicating to the casino. "You go in there and you find more pussy than you will anywhere else."He knew that Aleksei might not understand what pussy meant, but he found it amusing. Noting the man to be heading on his way, Urjasz wanted to check something should they meet again. "Before you go, what do you carry?" Excepting to be met with confusion, he opened his coat to show the 7 inch sabre in his belt. "You carry guns, knives, sticks" It may of looked like an odd thing, but should he ever have to go against this guy he liked to have a heads up of what he was dealing with. Russian immortals didn't tend to be here for a holiday after all. There was money to be had.

Aleksei understood English very well actually even slang such as "pussy" he just had a bit of trouble forming the correct words sometimes as the English language had so many words that sounded like others but had a completely meanings such as site, sight, and scythe. The idea of going into the casino and finding a woman for the night was enticing. He considered the idea for the moment and decided perhaps another night. The wolf called to him again and inquired about what he carried while revealing his own array of concealed weaponry. A silly gesture. Why would someone give up such a strategic advantage? It made no logical sense to Alek especially to someone who may be an enemy. His first impressions of this wolf were that he was a professional of some type perhaps a bodyguard or an assassin. Now he wasn't so sure what he just did was an act of an amateur.
Alek made a mental note of the weaponry especially the knife. He hated to be stabbed. He wondered if it had silver forged into the blade. Those were the worst they took so long to heal. He's much rather be shot than stabbed was always his observation. "I have nothing to show...pros`tite" he stated before continuing on his way. He'd never do such a thing as that. If his weapons were seen it was because they were being used. There was no reason to show them otherwise. He wasn't some common gangster after all.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ And so it was confirmed. The man was a professional. Urjasz wasn't showing his only weapon to Aleksei, but he wanted to see how the man would respond. Some of what the man said he could not understand, but he didn't expect it to be anything polite. People very rarely added additional comments in their home language if it was a compliment. "Fine. Head on your way. Nothing to see here." Turning his head to look forward he carried on smoking his cigarette. He wasn't a loner and he didn't need this man's company. Behind him, the noise of shouts from within the casino caught his attention and he made his way towards the back door. The door slammed open as two bouncers threw a small balding man through it. He crumbled onto the ground, taking a few kicks from the bouncers. "This mother fucker just tried to rob us, finish him up Urjasz" one of bouncers informed Urjasz. Closing the door behind them, Urjasz placed his cigarette on the window ledge and took his knife from his coat. Looking up at Aleksei, he called out "You head on. This is my business, not yours." Below him the man tried to escape but Urjasz grabbed him by the mouth and pushed the blade into the spine of his back. "Shh" he whispered in the man's ear, holding him until he went quiet. Once he stopped breathing, Urjasz let him slump to the floor.
