Reference: The Darker Mask: Heroes from the Shadows; a short-story collection.
^ My mom owned the book that I used for reference. I liked the cover so much that I wanted to draw from it.... so I did.
- Originally... the guy on the cover was bald, but still had hair. Y'know, like most African-American males do nowadays?
- He also had facial hair.
- There was some kind of logo on the jacket... I think.
- I didn't know how to draw braids very well, but i did the best I could do since I should know what they look like.
- I'm planning on naming him. Stuck between: Amir, Deontè, or Kaleb
- I had no intentions of coloring it...so I decided to finish it with pencil. Figured it looked nicer with just pencil.
