Jessica had no place she needed to go. Her car was not broken. No one asked her to meet them there. She just found herself and her camera down in the subway. It had become one of her many favorite placed to capture moments. The atmosphere was a bit different than other places, most people just wanted to get on the underground train and be on there way, after all the Subway isn't the safest place to be. Still, there were all kinds of people to see. There were those who stood right behind the yellow line, awaiting their ride. Then every now and then you could find the underground gambler conning people for their money with a simple card game. There were also some who would hold conversation with the person they were with as they waited on a bench. They were smart, only talking to people they knew.
Very much unlike Jessica. Maybe she wasn't talking to people she didn't know, but just randomly taking pictures of them, wasn't that worse? Though she couldn't really help the urge, after all she is a photographer. Taking pictures is what she does for a living. So there she sat alone on a bench with her expensive camera hanging down from her neck. She had her hair down, as usual. Her outfit consisted of a gray cardigan with a pinkish tank top under that. A pair of blue jeans fitted her legs and ended with a pair of converse sneakers. She was ready to go with a fresh hot latte sitting at her side. How long she'd be here, was unknown to even herself. Until she found what she wanted she would wait patiently.
Soon she spotted a young woman waiting for the train to pull up. She had short bob like red hair. Freckles dotted her face, mostly her nose, and she had a pair of piercing emerald green eyes. Jess pulled the camera up and looked through the lens. She started to snap pictures of the girl. Then the train shot by and make the girl's hair fly to one side for a moment. Jess caught that moment. It was her best picture of the day so far. After setting the camera down she took a sip of her coffee, it had finally cooled down so she didn't burn her tongue, this time. It was the only thing keeping her warm, since she was too lazy to wear a jacket that made her look like a marshmallow.
Then, in front of her, appeared a little boy. "Lady! Take a picture of me too!" She smiled at the boy, before grabbing another camera she had brought with her, the kind that develops the photo right away. "Alright then, say cheese and strike a pose." The young boy smiled and gave her a thumbs up, she took the photo and it popped out of the camera. She flapped it back and forth for a bit so the picture would show and then handed it to the boy. He gave her thanks and hurried off. Then getting back to work she continued to take pictures of the strangers around her. Some gave her weird looks, some just ignored her, and some didn't even know they were being photographed. It didn't matter to her either way.
