Leon slept for what seemed an eternity to him, when only a few hours truly passed. His eyes fluttered open, and pain washed over him. He groans, forcing himself to a sitting position. He looked down at himself as a little blood seeped out, frowning. She hadn't even stitched him up! But, she'd done a lot more than he'd any right to expect. He looks at her, and the tear in her eyes, and he chuckles.
"That attitude will get you killed." he says with a smile. He sighed, "Another couple scars, great." he says with another chuckle. "Thank you, though you could've stitched me up, or given me a couple painkillers." he continues. He had ten small scars on his chest in two half circle formations, finger tips, and now this large one.
He sighs, shaking his head. "Oh well, I'll take care of the rest on my own. I'm used to this. My father used to bring me within an inch of death each day, and I had to learn to care for myself." he says, deciding he owed her at least a little explanation for his behaviour. He traces a hand over the scar on his face, thinking, before indicating the ones on his chest, the fingertips. "These were the result of the last time I got close to a woman. I haven't since." he says with a shrug.
He shrugs, reaching into a pouch at his side, his silver necklace cool against his abnormally warm skin, and pulls out two pills, taking them without hesitation. "Pain killer and antibiotic to stave infection." he says with a quick explanation. His body was well muscled and toned, with a good tan going, but scars all over, a life time of fighting. "Where is your family? Or is this just a random room?" he queries suddenly, not wanting to get into a fight in this condition.

Calliope heard something so she sat up. She then saw Leon awake and sat up. Calli wiped some of the sleep out of her eyes as she sat up as well. When Leon said that that attitude would get her killed she smiled to herself. "Yeah well you were asleep and unless I did it intravenously then it wouldn't have helped you much. But I could work on those stitches for you?" she joked as she laughed lightly.
When he said that he would take care of the rest and started explaining about how his father trained him near death everyday her eyes shook slightly. And then he spoke of how when he got close to women that he achieved the scars on his chest and fingertips. Calliope gently and carefully placed her hand over one of the scars on his chest. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry that that happened to you. But I won't hurt you like she did" she explained as she looked at him in the eyes as her seemed to show caring and truth to them.
In response to him asking where her family was she ran her hand through her hair. "They're off where they usually are at this time everyday: they're off hunting. They'll be back at the crack of dawn just like they always do and will sleep during the day. You're in no danger of them, I promise" she sang as she stood up. She went into the kitchen and got a hot water bottle and a cold compress. She offered him the hot water bottle for the pain of his chest and back while she placed the cold compress onto her hand which had gotten injured from the gun she used.

((Sorry it's taken so long, lotta stuff happened recently.))
Leon smiles as she returns, the painkillers starting to kick in. He had to take the hospital strength prescription only stuff because his body developed an immunity to the weaker versions, which was only moderately upsetting. He had way too much money for his own good, never really spending it on anything he didn't absolutely need.
He reaches out to her, taking her injured hand gently, examining it to decide on how best to handle it. His hands were actually soft, contrary to what one would believe, always wearing gloves, he'd never really developed fighting caluses. He pulls out a bit of gauze and a sterile pad, cleaning her hand with a disinfectant spray, before wrapping it carefully.
"You should be fine soon enough, as far as I can tell, you just had your hand too high up and the slide caught you when it recoiled." he says softly, smiling at her as he released her hand, resting his head back against the wall, closing his eyes lightly. He was still a little light headed from the blood loss, but it wasn't too bad since he wasn't moving.

When Leon took her hand she turned around slowly to see what he was doing. Her eyes relaxed when she was him clean her hand with disinfectant and wrap gauze around it. He said it would be fine and it was just from shooting her gun and her hand was too high and the slide caught it. When he smiled at her Calliope's heart seemed to soar for a good few seconds as her heart beat out of her chest.
She then watched as he leaned his head back and closed his eyes. She got worried for a bit and placed the rag with warm water onto his forehead. "Try to take it easy. You did lose a lot of blood so you need to rest now. Why don't you try to get some more sleep?" she offered as she placed her hand on the side of his face unknowingly. "If not I could get you something to eat if you want?" she offered with a weak smile

He chuckles, "Mmm, food would be nice, but my body's in shock, so it's best not to eat or drink anything yet. And I'll be fine, just gotta take it easy for a couple days. I have a home around here, I'll vacate before your family returns. Just in case they want to find out which clan was truly better." he says with a smile at her, eyes still shut, clouded slightly by his bangs.
It felt good to take a night off, and to have someone help him. He hadn't had anyone to close to him since Scarlette fled into the night once more, and he never knew what happened to Ash, just that she was gone one day after he'd saved her. He knew there was no point in getting attached to Calliope, she lived with hunters, she'd leave him soon enough too.
"Sorry to put you through this, I usually take care of my self. But you did suprise me enough with your sudden return, something that almost never happens." he says with another chuckle. He settles in deeper, letting his discipline still his body and stave off the cold and shock, resting his world weary bones. It felt good to rest, even if only for a few moments. He was still just a nineteen year old kid afterall, and never had the luxury of friends who cared for him.

Calliope nodded as he spoke about her family. Just as she was about to speak the song Whatta Ya Want From Me rang out. Calli turned and ran over to her cell phone. "I'm sorry, I have to take this" she spoke as she stood up. She then walked into the kitchen and opened the cell. "Hello?" she asked. Her eyes widened as her older brother was on the phone. He said that he and her father were still on their hunt and that it had been taking longer then expected and they would be gone for the next couple of days.
"Oh, ok. Be safe" she told her brother as he said they would be and then hung up the phone. Calli sighed and walked back int othe living room whee Vincent was. She got down on her knees next to the bed as her eyes seemed to dim a bit. "That was my brother. It seems that you won't have to worry about running into them. They're gone hunting and won't be back for a couple more days. It seems like its just you and me" she said with a bit of sadness in her voice.
In response to him saying that she surprised him she smiled and swiped her bangs out of her eyes. "Don't be sorry, you're not a burden at all. I'm usually the one to take care of others so it comes natural since..." she began when she shook her head. "Well, ever since my mother died" she spoke as she sat next to Vincent and laid her head against the wall. "I figured something really important out of all of this. You don't have to go it alone" she spoke as she closed her eyes and gently placed her hand on top of his and squeezed lightly.

Leon smiles, denying the longing for physical contact that welled up inside of his body. He couldn't let himself grow attached, or fall prey to that comfort and sense of security people got from their loved ones. No one stayed in his life, he had to keep that close to his heart at all times, and keep the pain away.
"I should still go I think. I prefer my home, it's familiar and I know every in and out to it. Besides, I hardly need Vincent to come looking for me when I don't answer my cell cause it's sitting on my bed still." he says with a smile, the urge to hold her or squeeze her hand softly almost irresistable. "And why don't I have to go it alone? You'll be gone with your family soon enough, and you'll likely forget about me in time." he says, hiding the sadness and pain the thought brought him.
He may not be a very social person, but he never wanted to be forgotten, he never wanted to be spoken of in the past tense. He hated the very thought of it and spent each day trying to prevent that very occurence. He only could hope that it was working, and that he would never truly fade so far to just be another persons unrecognizable memory, some face in the crowd they'd met once long ago.

Calli shook her head at his words as she looked up at the ceiling to keep the tears that were welling in her eyes just in her eyes. "No, you're wrong. I could never forget you Leon. You're the first person I met who made me want to strive to do better. I'm never going to forget you." she spoke as tears strayed and fell from her eyes.
She quickly wiped them away and chuckled lightly. "Look at me, I'm crying like a baby" she spoke as she wiped the tears away. As soon as they were gone new ones replaced them until she hid her face in her hamds. After a few minutes she stopped crying and glanced back up at the ceiling.
"I hate to disappoint you but we're not going anywhere. With all of the supernatural stuff around here my father and brother won't be going anywhere far from here. They want to exterminate and cleanse this place of all the bad stuff. And they won't stop until this place is filled with only humans and hunters. Which means that I'm staying as well. If they ever were to leave I wouldn't go with them. I'd stay here because I can take care of myself. And..." she began as she turned to Leon.
She then smiled as she saw his bangs were in his eyes. She gently brought her hand onto his face and pushed them out of his eyes. Yet her hand lingered there for a few seconds. "I feel this need to want to be near you and help you whether you want my help or not?" she spoke softly as she gently stroked his cheek with her thumb

He sighs softly, his face tilting into her hand as he began to give ground. "Even so, I don't live here, I travel where I'm needed the most. New York is admittedly a frequent stop, but I still have to travel the world over. My real home is in Europe." he says softly, finding himself not wanting to leave her. He sighs, opening his eyes to stare at the cieling a moment, before pushing himself up and groaning.
"I should go now." he says, before pausing. He hesitates a moment, before continuing on. "If you want, you can spend the few days at my home. I'll heal better in a place I can relax. Besides, most my stuff is there, and I need new clothes." he says with a chuckle, rising from the bed, placing a hand gently on her shoulder and squeezing softly.
His emerald eyes held on caring and compassion for her as a smile lit his face, and he gathered his things, belting his weapons back on and shrugging into his almost completely ruined jacket. He was still bare chested beneath it, but he didn't care. He wraps his arms around her, hugging her tightly before slowly letting go. "You can come or stay, choice is yours, but I have to go. You have my number if you want to stay here, but I think you'd be safer with me." he says, trying to skirt the fact he wanted her to go.

Calliope smiled softly and closed her eyes as he tilted his head into her hand. "I know what you mean about your home. This place is not my home. My true home is back in Cairo and I miss it everyday especially when its winter here." she spoke and joked a bit. In response to Leon asking about her staying with him until her family got back her eyes shook a bit. He wanted her to stay with him and go with him? This was a shock to her. But her shock quickly wore off as he hugged her tightly as she basically had her head against his bare chest. She breathed quicker a bit but then slowed and hugged him back as she placed her hands on his back. "Ok, I'll come with you" she spoke as she smiled at him. "Just let me go and change first?" she asked as she shook her head. "I wouldn't want to ruin anything in your house with these bloody clothes" she joked as she left the room. She packed up a few of her clothes and placed it into her bag. Then she shrugged out of her bloody clothes and changed into a regular pair of jeans yet her shirt was this amazingly beautiful black lace corset top. It was a new shirt she had made herself but was happy that it was black so that it looked good with her skin tone. As she walked out of her room in her new outfit she glanced at his jacket. "You really should let me clean that. I'll have to do it by hand thought" she spoke as she gave him a weak smile. He shrugs, "I can fix and clean it. I have to know many skills to take care of myself afterall." he says with a smile. "And if you're ready, let's head out then. I stay not far from the park. And personally, I like the winter, especially the snow." he says, smiling fondly as he thinks of home.
The walk wouldn't take them long, before they arrived at a small two story dwelling. "Well, this is my place here. Not quite what pedople expect, I know." he says with another chuckle. He let's her in, shutting the door behind them, letting her wander while he slips into his room for a new shirt. "Make yourself at home." he calls, moving back to his living room and sinking into the coucch, staring at the cieling. It was a small home, completely furnished with what everyone would expectof a normal house, complete with a fireplace that was alrady burning.

Calliope followed carefully behind Leon as she didn't let him out of her sight for a second. Calliope wandered the house as her eyes took in the surroundings and furniture. "This place is amazing" she thought to herself as she twirled and stared at the ceiling.
"In response to his comment about his house she laughed lightly. "Don't worry about it. At least you don't live in a place where you have to compete with others for a bathroom. In Cairo our house had at least three stories, but that was only because six people lived there" she explained as her eyes seemed to dim for a second. It still hurt a bit to talk about her family considering she had lost them not six months ago.
She then sank down on the couch next to Leon. She followed his gaze to the ceiling as she brought her hand to her hair. She pulled some hair out of her eyes and then turned towards Leon. She gently placed her hand on top of his. "Thank you again for...saving me today. I'm glad that I got to meet you. You're a really awesome person and you make me..." she began when she stopped and turned away. "Sorry, I shouldn't have said anything" she spoke as her bangs fell into her eyes again and hid her expression

He shrugs, a little uncomfortable with where the conversation was going. "Don't worry about, it's just what I do." he says, pushing himself up from the couch. "I'm gonna make something to eat, you want anything?" he asks as he moves into the kitchen, exhaling quietly. He was an a very unfamiliar situation, and it irked him more than it should to not know what to do.
He grabs a soda from his fridge and begins setting things up. Normally he'd survive on rations, but he didn't want to seem too odd, so cooking was the best way to go. He leans against the counter, palms resting atop them as he stared into his cupboards and fridge, trying to decide what to make. Maybe something native to Egypt? Or Europe? Or something American? He ate most anything, he just had to figure out what she wanted. He ponders the question, sipping his soda and trying to decide, stomach rumbling impatiently.

Call sighed heavily as she pulled her bangs out of her eyes. Smooth move Calli she thought as she stood up. She herself was a little hungry but she needed to stand and keep moving. So she walked into the kitchen and saw Leon leaning against the counter. She saw him sip a soda and heard his stomach growl. For some reason she felt that she should walk over there and do something.
So she walked over to Leon. She reached out her hand yet retracted it before she actually touched him. Just do it she thought as she gently placed her hand on his face. Her other hand went to his arm and stayed there. She gently turned his face so that their eyes would meet. "Please look at me Leon" she begged as she went from looking at the ground to looking into his eyes. "Tell me what you see?" she asked with a weak smile. For some reason her heart was beating out of her chest and her eyes were shaking

He resists at first, before allowing her to turn him, hazy emerald eyes staring back deeply into her own. He remains silent for a moment, heart and mind racing. He knew what he saw, and yet knew not what to do. A light sigh escapes him as his eyes shut slowly, and he begins to shake his head. A light smile danced along his lips as he chuckled, before looking at her again.
"You just don't give up, do you?" he asks with a chuckle, hoping that he wasn't reading the entire situation wrong, and that he wasn't about to ruin things for him. His arms slip around her waist, pulling her in close as his eyes remained staring into hers. His bare hand reaches up to gently cup her cheek as the barest hints of a smile dance along his mouth.
"I see hope, desire, trust and sincerity." he answers her finally, before leaning in, deciding to throw everything to chance. He presses his lips softly against hers, kissing her deeply as he held her tight against him, hand still cupping her face as he held her. He held the kiss as long as he could, before slowly breaking it off, tilting his head to lean his forehead against hers, fingers gently trailing against her cheek, eyes shut once more.
