Isi watched the vampiress drift off to sleep. They did that, correct? Sleep when the day was upon them. Why was Isi second guessing herself? She knew vampires more than she knew the back of her smooth hand. Isi left Seras sleeping on the floor, but she was nice enough to throw a blanket over the body and close the curtains darkening the room even more, if possible.
"I'll be back." Isi muttered very un-movie-like, and of course to herself since she doubted Seras could very much hear her. Leaving the room Isi had to go in search of blood. It probably wouldn't be very hard but it would take a bit of money. When Seras awoke, she would feed. Isi couldn't have her vampire pet weak.

When Seras woke up a few minutes later, she immediately noticed she was alone in the suite. Aside from her, the room was empty. She was alone again. With everything that happened between the two recently, the saddened vampiress could only conclude Isi left her, just as her lover had. It pained her so much.
"I told you, lass, you aren't good enough for anyone at all."
She sighed heavily and tried to wipe her tears away from her eyes but the little girl could barely move her body. It took her a few failed tries and a couple of minutes just to stand up off the floor, and even then her stance was weak. She was so immediately withdrawn from the reality of things, Seras didn't even notice that she had woken up with a blanket on her before pulling it off herself.
Seras made her way to the restroom, her only sanction from everyday life. It was there she prepared herself for all the drugs her distraught mind could possibly wish for. The girl swallowed any and all sorts of sedative pills she could find in her possession, enough to stop a human heart, and injected more heroin into her system than any few humans could possibly endure without an immediate overdose.
Drugged out of her mind, the vampiress left her suite slowly. There was nothing left for her it seemed and she didn't even know what to do or where to go. The door to her suite had been left open, valuables and countless signs of drugs, alcohol, and violent encounters were openly visible to anyone passing by but this notion didn't even come to her.
Since Isi had reopened her wounds to remove the bullets, they hadn't yet closed all the way and the vampiress left a small trail of blood drops as she wandered away further into the city. She didn't know where she was, what she was doing, where she was going, or even who she was anymore. Seras was losing her mind and drugged so very much she didn't know a thing.
The dim sunlight barely showed over the tops of the taller buildings surrounding her, but even then it burned her skin horribly. The pain didn't even translate to her. She hadn't noticed until finally her eyesight went blurry and before much longer she couldn't see a thing. Seras could barely even move her body anymore and couldn't breathe. She stumbled her way towards a smaller park and collapsed beside some bushes in the shade of a tree. With any luck, nobody would bother to follow the trail of blood she had left.

Isi couldn't of course stay the night in the hotel room even though she wanted to. There was a vampire in the room so . . . But Isi was back wearing new clothes, and outfit complete blood red fitting for the ocassion so to say, not to mention her arms were full of blood bags - Cold. But when she got to Seras' room the door was left open. Isi closed it behind her, gun out, blood bags on the floor. She searched for Seras in all the obvious places. It was clear the girl wasn't in her room but there was a hell of a lot of drugs in the place. Isi wasn't familiar with drugs in reality since she needed a clear mind, but she could identify some of the substances.
"Shit!" Isi muttered. She closed the door behind her, blood bags swung over her shoulder in a black tote bag. Did Seras turn to dust? Was she kicked out? Kidnapped? Was she on the run? "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!" She muttered to herself as she pressed the button to the elevator. She stormed out of the hotel wondering where she could find Seras at. The girl wasn't going to escape.

The little girl had collapsed in the light brush of a smaller park, leaving a trail of blood behind her. But if Isis didn't hurry, Seras had become quite the vampire lately, her blood was different. It would evaporate off the pavement in the dimmest of sunlight inside the hour. In truth she couldn't be sure if she wanted to even be found.
Seras laid in the soft grass that was getting more and more stained red. What blood was left in her battered body was pumping out of her slowly but surely. She would cough up the rest in erratic intervals. But above all else, the thoughts that found their way into her drugged mind were not of Hiro, but rather Isi. This lady had been very kind to her and treated her well in her own right. She was everything to Seras.
Between the drugs and the torture, she couldn't move her body anymore. Breathing grew more and more difficult and it was increasingly hot outside. Seras couldn't see herself anymore but she wanted to cry knowing how horrible she must look right then. The tears evaporated off her cheeks.

Isi sighed as she tried to think. She pressed herself against the elevator. If there was a person watching the live video feed then Isi was a person who would be rather suspicious. She didn’t technically belong to the Plaza in any sense. She wasn’t white and she didn’t come into her money by inheritance. Suspicious, suspicious. “Main Lobby .You didn’t by chance see where my friend went? Room 118 B.” But Isi would of course know the answer. The elevator patron hadn’t the faintest of clue. And even if Isi did sweeten the deal with a few Washington’s, she doubted he would know. He was stuck in the elevator. “Thanks for nothing.” Isi muttered as she stormed out of the elevator. Like she would give someone a tip? A maybe brush your teeth and zip your pants sort of tip but the guy certainly didn’t deserve any money. He was paid to press a single button. It wasn’t Isi’s fault.
She wanted to run through the lounge but most certainly the police would be called for her causing such a scene in front of their most luxurious guests. She also wanted to run screaming into the room, holding up ten thousand dollars, cash, and demand information on where Seras went. But she had a feeling that no one would go near her thinking she to be crazy. And no one wanted to look money hungry either. Not to mention, she didn’t need to be noticed right now. Especially when she had a few blood bags on ice in her gym bag! Slowly Isi walked, trying to figure out a plan. There had to be someone in this place who had taken notice of Seras. They were like vultures the first time they entered the hotel together! And that was when Isi saw them, a few boys properly dressed in uniform with hat standing by the elevators. The luggage boys or whatever they were called.
Isi casually made her way to one of the boys, trying to choose the one who looked like he might have been standing there forever. She casually held it out in front of him. The boy already thought she was crazy. She knew it just by looking at her. It was like they all knew that she wasn’t old money and that she was a faker. Or maybe she was just being paranoid. “You know that girl in 118 B on the eighth floor? Did you see her leave? May be more money for you if you tell me.” Isi listened as she heard him yawn and say that he saw her, she was bleeding but didn’t want to go to the hospital. She went to the left. That was all he knew. Isi handed the boy the money. It probably wasn’t the most he had been paid for her service, for all Isi knew other people had paid the young man over two thousand dollars for a few minutes of his time also.
“Seras. Shit!” Isi muttered to herself. She was fuming mad. Did Seras leave on her own or something? The place looked wiped clean except for the bits of drugs everywhere in the bathroom. Was she kidnapped? Did someone force drugs on the vampire when she was sleeping? Isi knew she should have come back immediately with the blood but she wanted to sleep a bit, rest, eat ... If it had been her friend like a human who needed stitching or something Isi would have come back right away instead of leaving them to hope they would make it through the daytime hoping they could scrape together alive. And now Seras was gone.
Isi turned left on the main walk, dodging past the people entering and leaving the Plaza and the many men loading suitcases into wheelies and parking cars. She saw slight blood on the ground a few feet after the Plaza. Was it Seras’ blood? Was Isi supposed to follow the trail? Was the trail even meant for her? But still she had nothing to go on. Isi followed the trail of blood hoping it never let up. If there was one thing Isi hated that was puzzles and riddles. And to Isi this was both a puzzle and a riddle. Instead of battles of wits, Isi preferred physical battles where she could punch (or shoot) the crap out of something or someone! Seras could most certainly confirm on that matter.
Isi felt the bag, it was still cold. She had no idea why she wanted the blood to remain cold. Didn’t vampires enjoy warm blood more? But for some reason Isi thought it was important for the blood to remain cold. Did it spoil? Isi crossed into the street on a green light, making cars honk and drivers cuss out of their already open windows. It was new York and Isi would be damned if she would wait at the light while there was a fresh trail of blood. Though of course it could be old. It wasn’t as if Isi would bend down and touch it. AIDS anyone? No thanks! Isi didn’t feel the need to cuss back at the drivers. She did carry on, pissing off the drivers on the other side of the road. But what could they do? – Run her over. I think not!
As Isi passed the park the blood trail seemed to lighten up. As if the creature who was bleeding almost stopped. And then the trail went cold on the cement. Isi would have continued walking but she heard a child exclaim and point to their parent in the direction of a vague figure on a bench. Is that why the trail died? As Isi thought, she bloody hated puzzles and trails and clues! – Well she loved trails when it led to her killing something. Isi was doing a mighty fine job of this trail, sarcasm overload of course. She sighed and went to check it out. If it was a homeless person which Isi was 99.1 percent sure of, she’d blow out their brains just for being so fucking pissed off at loosing Seras. “SERAS!” Isi cried out hovering over the vampires body.

She heard a faint voice exclaim her name and it caught her attention enough to make her try and open her eyes. It didn't work out so well. She could barely get them open, and even then her vision was really impaired. There was a heaps blurry figure standing beside her but nothing made sense to the girl anymore. It took her a very long time to realize who it was, and when she did so Seras tried to move her body. All she could do was sit up a bit, roll on her side and prop herself up on an elbow before falling flat. Again she tried to hoist herself up but it wasn't working well. The vampire even tried to crawl away, crying because she knew how desperate and horrible she must look.
"I'm heaps sorry Isi..."
When Seras spoke, her voice was barely audible and lacked any strength. Was she finally dying? The sun burned heavy on her skin. Finally, the girl lost consciousness.

How long was the girl in the sun for? Isi was surprised that her flesh didn’t burn away. The sun was being gentle this fine merry day. It was cool and not the humid she had heard about in the afternoon’s news. Isi grumbled once before she set the bag of blood on the ground and took off her black trench coat. There were two types of ways you could wear a trench coat. You could look like a beautiful female or you could look like you were hiding without being inconspicuous. Isi was half and half. But she tossed the coat around Seras, shielding her from the sun’s rays which she knew to be vicious on a vampires flesh.
“Dear God. What am I doing? Oh forgive me! Forgive Seras!” Isi was a fan of God. But she also wasn’t a fan in a way. For if there was a God why would he let his people, his humans be surrounded by such abominations? Was he testing his beloved mortals such as Isi? – To see if they would exterminate the masses. There were few and far between who really knew what existed at night. Or did God simply not exist? Isi knew, had to go on, that in the olden days mortals knew of such immortals but over time forgot their existence and cast it off as the wind blowing or wolves howling. There could not be a day when Isi didn’t believe she worked for God. But really, she needed to have an excuse to kill, someone to pat her on the back. It wasn’t that she found the work horrifying. She found it thrilling. She needed a reason to kill, God.
Isi picked up the eighty-five pound woman, if Seras was, give or take, and swung the blood bag on her shoulder. Isi was carrying Seras like one might an infant. Of course it would have been a whole lot easier to just swing Seras upside down over one shoulder blade but Isi would be damned before she put herself at risk. Of course she was going to bring the little thing to her home but she’d seen a vamp fang out and sink into the nearest human’s neck and a struggle, it wasn’t a pretty thing. Your neck was basically ripped as you found. Isi got quite a few looks, kept her face turned away from where she knew to be shop cameras and moved what looked like a dead bundle (paranoia at its finest) closer and closer to her car.
Isi dumped the Seras bundle in the back of Isi’s BMW SUV, black with tinted plates. The license plate on the back of Isi’s car was a real fake which would show up in the DMV’s records but the name and address were fake. The picture on record looked nothing like Isi, but people did change over the years so it was passable by someone dimwitted. There was five grand in the dashboard, bribe money if necessary. Totally necessary if she got pulled over, had to wait while someone searched her car and hoped they didn’t find the secret compartments which stored several guns, all of which were illegal for private citizens to own. With the press of a button Isi could change her license plate numbers, flipping the hidden license plate for that of something totally fake. Isi used that when she didn’t even want to be identified as Sarah McKinley.
A gun was right out on the open in Isi’s lap. She was staring into the rear-view mirrors at the Seras bundle. If it moved and leapt at her, Isi would most certainly shoot! It was sort of a good thing Seras was unconscious because Isi was unsure if she should blindfold the woman before bringing her home. But because Seras was unconscious it didn’t bring about a whole mess of problems. It wasn’t as if Isi didn’t have a few safe houses, she did. But they weren’t as nice as her house. They served one purpose and one purpose alone. A home to hide and wait off the heat, or if need be, to use one of the many extra exits police would be dumbfounded with trying to catch her. Of course Isi was imagining totally that anyone would catch her, she’d flee to her safe house, grab some money / weapons, clothes already in one trendy bag and use one of the many escape systems she’d built so that she could flee even if SWAT themselves surrounded her.
The drive to Isi’s home was short. Not because it was close but because Isi drove fast at miles reaching 140 an hour! Excluding the dangerous fact that she was swerving out from behind slow cars and passing everything in sight. She was probably caught on a few traffic cams due to the fact that as the yellow light turned to red she was hitting the gas and blowing it through! Nothing like defensive driving. But one could drive anyway they wanted if they had police scanners, tinted windows and fake plates! The car was probably caught on tape but Isi had switched plates for the faux pas ones! And her windows were too tinted for anyone to see through. Bless auto shops!
And then finally Isi reached her home, slowing to a startling speed of sixty miles an hour on the dirt roads winding about. Isi had neighbors but her home was too secluded and she made no effort to get to know anyone they did likewise. Isi reckoned that her neighbors too wanted their privacy. One couple had recently been arrested because it was found out that they were the ones who had robbed the bank of nearly seventeen million dollars, an inside job, and went from living in a trailer to a seven million dollar home. When Isi heard those sirens hell she was using her escape hatch and almost halfway to Switzerland . . . .
Isi’s home was a mere five bedrooms and six full bathrooms. Isi had two panic rooms and twelve escape plans. There was a basement which had been hidden and cemented out, turned into a sort of holding room. But Isi found it was easier and cleaner to hide things in warehouses instead of her own home. Oh the lessons of trial and error Isi had learned! She carried Seras inside her home and led her to the basement, of course there were no windows, it was practically a cellar or some hide-away-zone. It made Isi nervous to be inside of it because there was only one exit, the entrance. This was not a good room to be trapped in. Isi placed Seras on the hard table, knowing a vampire wouldn’t mind since they were all but dead to the world when the sun was up. And left to bring down a baby fridge, she tossed the blood bags inside and left, locking the door as she closed it behind her. Security cameras were turned on, Isi would know if she was watching the small TV if Seras moved.
And now to really get some rest. Isi settled on the couch with some flavored mineral water, a homemade Caesar salad, and a box of Tony Roman’s ribs from a day (or week) ago. She would flip every now and then to the video hookup and watch the sleeping Seras lie before switching back to her show. And of course she was never very far from the outer home security system, viewing it more than anything else. Never fully safe in her mind, Isi was in her own personal paranoid hell. And she had brought a vampire into her midst!

Slowly, after what felt like forever, Seras' eyes opened to an unfamiliar room. She blinked a few times and brought her hands to rub her eyes. It took all the energy she had left in her to do so and to sit up. Her entire body was in pain, but somehow the cold air in the room was very soothing. Being in the winter months, and that the cellar was made of concrete underground, it grew quite chilly in it. Seras didn't really mind or notice though. It felt wonderful on her burnt skin. Already, her complexion began to return, but it was still noticeable that she had been burnt badly. There would be no way she could go out into the city and not have anyone ask questions. Well, maybe in the dead of night but she had no idea what time it was, or where she even was.
"H...hello....?" Seras whispered, her voice weak.
The petite vampire let her legs fall off the edge of the table as she sat herself up on its cold surface. Even in the dark she could make out the size of the room and what else was in it. It wasn't a particularly large cellar, but very much empty. There seemed to be just her, a table, and another small little table with a mini refrigerator sitting atop it. Seras put her arms around herself and continued to look about. She wished she knew where she was.
Before long, the brilliant idea to see what was in the fridge came to her mind, and so Seras carefully slid herself off the table, only to realize she didn't yet have the strength to stand completely on her own two feet. The girl fell face first into the cold concrete floor with a thud. After a few minutes of trying, she was finally able to stand, but not with the held of the nearby table for support. She frowned heavily.
Seras continued to look about at her surroundings. Most of her senses were still clouded with the effects of all the drugs, though it was on its way out of her system. It was perhaps sickening to see how quickly she went through the stuff before wanting more. The severe urges began to kick in and Seras grew paranoid. The room was unfamiliar at best, it was heaps cold, and the last thing she could remember was that Isi no longer wanted her.
"Miss Isi...." Seras muttered, unsure of everything.
Sometime later, the girl was able to make her way to the little fridge and see it was full of blood bags. She didn't even have to look. Once the little door was opened, even through the bags, their scent tingled her nose. It made her weak heart skip a beat. She took them cautiously and made her way back to her table where she sat on the edge and examined the bags. They were a human's, no doubt, but definitely not Isi's. They belonged to some random male, this she knew. It made her think of her late Hiro, bringing the first signs of tears back to her eyes. Even without blood, her healing was getting more and more vampiric everyday.
Seras took the bag and bit a little piece off as she sat on the edge of the table sipping away like a happy child with a juicey box. It tasted awful, but sadly she couldn't find herself able to stop drinking the blood. One down, one more to go. The second time around, she bit through the plastic bag with ease. The contents of the bag were gone in under a minute or so. Seras licked her lips clean and neatly placed the two empty bags beside her on the table. She reached her arms up and stretched, not particularly caring to remember that somewhere along the way one of her arms had been broken. It was healed already now. Even in the very dim lighting, she could see her larger scars begin to slowly heal.
Seras again slid herself off the table, but this time was able to stand on her two feet, but barely. Her walk was shaky when she went towards a wall in the room. Leaning against it, Seras walked the length of the room, and around the other sides before ending up where she had started. Satisfied, she sat on the cold floor in a corner and grew horribly sad. Is this what hell was like? Was she really dead? If it was Hell, it sure was colder than she could remember people telling her. Seras brought her knees to her chest and looked about the room. Something caught her attention.
From the inside, the location of the door wasn't entirely noticeable, especially in the dark, but after a few moments she picked it out. Cautious, Seras approached it and put a hand on the door. Somehow, it felt a little bit warmer than the rest of the room. She knew this had to be the exit. The vampire gave it a little push, but it didn't budge at all. Again she went to open it, this time throwing her weight into it but still to no avail. Its not as though she even weighed that much. Perhaps 95 pounds, give or take.
Seras started to cry. "Please.... let me out of here?" She pounded on the door lightly. "Please.... Miss Isi...? Where are you...? Please let me out.... its scary in here.... I think there's someone else downs here... please...!"
Of course the only other person she felt in the cellar was her split personality. After a few minutes of pleading, her voice grew angry and it seemed as though there was a completely different person in there. Well not that either of them were human really.
"Damn it Isi! Let me out of here you little bitch!"
Seras began hitting the door and pushing on it with all her might, and to her surprise even, it began to budge a little. Even though it was quick to stop. There must have been a hundred locks on the other end! The little vampire gave up and collapsed on the cold floor.
"How... just how could you say that?"
"How can you NOT?! She has you trapped down here like some kind of animal!"
"But... I...."
"You what? Are you going to tell me you actually ENJOY being down here? In this cellar? Its heaps cold! I want out, missy!"
"I'm sorry... really I am... we can't get out... "
Seras began to cry lightly and then she noticed she still had her cell phone in her pocket. Looking at it, she seemed a little surprised that there were only two contacts in it. Hiro, and her drug lord. She texted her "boss" to see if he could get her some drugs, but the txt barely sent out with what little service she seemed to get in the cellar. But then the girl remained staring at the second contact in her list before finally calling it. It rang a few times, but nobody answered.
"Hiro...."
In a few moments, there was a text back asking how much she wanted and where the girl was. It made her happy to know she could now get some more drugs. She replied that she didn't know where she was and that she had no money, adding a sad face in there for good measure. Surprisingly, then the man texted her back once more, it seemed almost concerned when it asked if she was alright and if she would be needing assistance. Again, she replied she didn't know where she was or how she got there.
A few minutes later, instead of a text reply, Seras' celli rang. It startled her at first, and the signal was very weak.
"H-hello...?"
"Hey there, lil one. Are you alright?" The voice on the other end was surprisingly gentle and concerned.
"I- I think so S-Sir..."
"Where are you? I'll have one of my men drop by and get you, then we can talk."
"I don't... I don't know sir. Honest! I think Miss Isi brought me here... but its heaps cold! I think there's someone else down heres with me! Im scared... please.... come get me... please?"
"Just calm down little one. We'll find you. Leave you're phone on and wait for us. Be a good lil girl now."
Seras nodded. "Okays..."
The vampire sat in the cold, dark corner of the cellar and began to wait. She didn't even know how these people would find her, if they would even come for her. Was she that important to just a dealer? Well these people HAD saved her once before. And she always did what they'd ask of her. She even considered the boss as a friend. But even with gps or whatnot, could they find her? Seras hoped. Then she grew worried. These are the people she knew who didn't ever take things lightly. They had once gotten into a heated argument with some fellow drug people and ended up shooting them all down with automatic weapons fire, the kind people shouldn't even have access too. It seemed to her that they could do anything they ever wanted, and had the money for it too. Maybe that's why they enjoyed her company, even if she was a vampire. Was she something exotic to them?

Isi had been rather tired. She seldom got the sleep she ever so needed. So every now and then she slept up to two days. She still had to operate someday on a human day, during daylight hours; but mostly she was on a vampires day; operating her day via night – sleeping during the day and waking at night. And combine that with a full stomach? Isi had been out like a light as she settled in snug on her couch waiting for Seras to awaken. Isi seldom ate till she was full, it put her out like a light. And if she didn’t eat then she became dizzy and lost her concentration. So she was always in-between.
Isi slept onwards in her dream. In her dream she was with Seras, hunting a vampire. Seras was handing Isi a wooden stake and a necklace of garlic. Seras kissed Isi passionately before Isi went out on hunt, staking the vampire and laughing viciously as the body throbbed like a seizure, painfully dying. And then Seras was behind Isi, they had sex. And while Isi was subdued in the throes of passion Seras sunk her fangs into Isi’s neck. And then she slit her wrist with a razor and Isi drank freely of the vampires blood.
“JESUS CHRIST!” Isi shouted to herself as she woke up in cold sweats. Her heart was pounding, both from fear, from shock, from being woken in dead sleep and a noise emitting from her cell phone. It wasn’t a person on the other end from the ringtone, nor was it a text message. It was her security system. There were hidden cameras everywhere on Isi’s property. The security system didn’t call the police, it called her phone as a sort of “silent” alarm. Isi had two types of security cameras, one in a sort of public / hidden spot where only experts could find if they looked and hidden spots that she was sure a good damned 1% of the population would only be able to detect if they went around the trees with a detection scanner.
“Company!” Isi realized that she had fallen asleep watching the cellar Seras channel. The cameras in the cellar and outside both hooked up to the TV and she could flip a channel and view which side of the house or inside she wished to see. She had thirty small TV’s in her bedroom which all the channels played continuously. Seras was standing by the door, wanting to be let out. But that wasn’t what set off Isi’s alarm system. Someone was vastly approaching her home or already approaching. She instantly began to flip through the security channels trying to find out where her visitors or visitor was. “Screw this.” Isi muttered as she raced off to her bedroom, spotting instantly where her visitors were on the property.
The only question was who were these people. Were they random visitors? Neighbors? Seras related? Vampire / hunter related? Werewolf / were abomination related? God forbid, Police? Isi had so many enemies that it would be hard for her to figure out who her visitors were and what their purpose was. But for some reason Isi knew that they weren’t neighbors and she’d bet her whole “stash” of stolen objects / money that her new “guests” didn’t want a nice cup of tea – Though Isi preferred coffee. Removing a painting in her bedroom wall held a put together sniper rifle, this was black ops standard but tweaked! Beyond military weaponry if Isi could say so herself. And a glock nineteen with silencer, black and black.
Isi walked outside the basement door. She could press a button and intercom to Seras, but what could she say? ‘Seras we have visitors. I’ll let you out after I kill them?’ God, was she followed? Isi did her best. She had only seen one car, not two, no heli’s. Surely if they were cops / law officials they would send SWAT out. Or maybe since they figured since she lived in a nice area, alone, that there was no need to send out SWAT? Isi did not like being confused. She didn’t like not knowing who her enemies were. “Be with you in a minute Seras. This was the only room in the house without windows. K? I put some blood in a little fridge. Be right there!” Isi tried to sound as nice as possible. Seras couldn’t have called someone. She was unconscious when Isi brought her to her home. It hadn’t even crossed Isi’s mind yet that Seras had a cell phone. . .
Isi put the glock in her holster. She was bruised from sleeping with it on but the pain was minimal, she had been through much worse than that. She had a very pretty sniper rifle; she just enjoyed the red dot they gave off though she was a good aim by herself. She had chosen this gun because bullets would be fired off one after one, more than a normal glock, but less than a machine gun say an uzi. Isi didn’t want to destroy the trees! She would have to clean this mess up after she made her kills. Not to mention, damn, get rid of the bloody freaking car. Super great! “You guys are going to pay. Fucking, fucking pay. Your deaths will be swift, but only because you fuckers are messing with me on my own damned turf and I live fucking here!” Isi muttered to herself. Trailing off and thinking in her mind about cleaning up.
Isi would wait till they got out of their large car. Shoot ‘em till they dropped was Isi’s motto. They would never see anything coming. They wouldn’t know anything.

Seras was startled when the intercom switched on and she heard Isi's voice. It was quiet, rushed and even a tad bit nice. Was Isi actually being nice to the vampire? She grew scared and simply nodded when Isi told her she would return, even if she couldn't be seen. For whatever reason, Seras began to shake again. Though she was a vampire and already well on her way to being quite healed up, the lack of drugs was running its course through her body. Withdrawal maybe? After all, she had injects so much heroin it could kill a horse.
"Please... they're just my friends..." Seras whispered sadly when Isi ran off.
It upset her to know she was stuck in a cellar and her friends could be hurt because she called them. But not because she didn't believe she ought to be down there. In fact, she enjoyed being mistreated and locked away. Seras just didn't want anyone to get hurt because of her idiotic behaviors. Suddenly her celli rang. With cold, shaking fingers she answered it.
"We're outside this house. You had said you'd be in the celllar, correct?"
"Mhmm... b-b-but-"
"Don't you worry, lil one. We know about her."
The line on the other end went silent and Seras began to tremble even further. Her eyes were the brightest magenta, almost glowing in the dark cellar. She held herself tightly to try and stop from shaking. A million and one thoughts were rushing through her troubled head right then. But most of all, she just wanted more heroin. Or anything to make her body feel better. It was quite true she had gotten very much addicted to it. Was it possible for vampires to get addicted? Well they get addicted to blood, yes? Nonetheless she was feeling rather dependent on the substance. So much so, she began to cry. Her body hurt so badly without it, or maybe it only felt that way in her pretty little head. Things grew blurry to her eyes. But above all else, her arm began to itch, then burn. She clawed at it accordingly, but it only made it feel worse so she kept at it. Eventually, the intense feeling had spread through her entire arm and down her side. It drove her insane! If only she had a syringe and some of her drugs to calm her. Seras grew her fangs out and bit into her forearm, just below the elbow where all the syringe marks normally would be had it not been for her healing. Even as a habitual user, her veins hadn't even blackened, thanks to her vampirism. But as soon as blood touched her tongue, it was over. She was no longer thinking like a human. It didn't even occur to her that the taste was mediocre at best and was from her own body. Seras bit into her arm again and again, ravaging it to no end. She then tore her wrist apart, drinking the blood with a strange smile across her lips. Eventually she couldn't get enough and bit her wrist harder and harder until bones broke and her hand went limp. Even this hadn't stopped her. She was damn near about to tear her own arm off. Her breathing was short and almost gone. Her skin was as pale as snow and every ounce of her body hurt so much. Seras nearly overdosed earlier, something that was very hard for a vampire to do, and now her body was withdrawing from the lack of drugs in her system. It must have gone through her faster than any human could do! Still she desperately craved for more and it was making her crazy. Seras began hitting her head against the concrete cellar walls to try and get the drug induced thoughts out of her head but it wasn't working. She was just bleeding all over the place. Trying to stand up, Seras was shaking too much when she began to pound on the cellar door. But nobody would hear her it seems. Soon she fell back down when her legs gave out on her. The little vampire was a horrible horrible mess. Her hair was matted and ruined with blood. She was suffering from a mild concussion and her skull was a bit fractured now, Her arm was so ruined it looked like it went through a meat grinder, and she wet herself she was so scared . There was blood everywhere and her weak body barely held on but still she just couldn't stop the cravings for heroin. There were voices in her head that told her how wonderful it would feel to get some more.
"Get out of my mind!!"
Between the drug cravings and her vampirism wanting more and more blood, Seras was a train-wreck. Just then, a strange thought popped into her head. It was one of Hiro. Even amongst all her craziness she thought of her lover. But this time it was different. It upset her even. Her inner personality had taken over a long while ago, killing her body to no end, but when she began to think of Hiro, Seras grew upset. She thought she even hated him. The girl cursed under her breath, blaming him for her drug abuse, and for her depression. But most of all for her vampiric curse.
"I hate you so much ... Hiro..."
The words that came out of her mouth shocked her. Did she really just say she hated the love of her life? No, it must have been her other self speaking because the quiet, kind and loving girl still cared for him deeply even if she did think he left her. Seras couldn't believe those words just came out of her mouth. Her body smiled in a weird satisfaction but her mind was beyond depressed. Hearing those words come out of her own mouth ruined her. Without even realizing that in killing her other personality, she would also die, or maybe she did think of this, Seras reached up and put her hand on her throat. She began to squeeze with all her might. At the very least, her other self would be punished and she wouldn't speak again.
Meanwhile outside, the few men in their jet black bmw waited for what seemed like forever. Even with a high powered rifle, at the distance, their bullet proof windows and such would protect them. It seemed as though they knew that and parked where they did deliberately. Surely they did know. If anyone in the greater city had any spectacular weapons in the possession, it was usually through them. And if not, they at least knew of their competitor's products. They didn't know Isi personally, but after seeing her with Seras once already, it was safe to say a few people here and there were worried about her safety, especially since Seras was a vampire. In the underground world, Isi wasn't as entirely mysterious as she thought she was anymore.
One man had a strange look on his face as he dialed on his celli and Isi's phone rang.
"Miss, we aren't here to harm you, and you can't be doing us much harm either with that rifle I'm afraid. Our auto isn't as naked as it had been from the factory, as you may have very well speculated. Nonetheless, we're here for the girl. She told us she was in need of our assistance. Will you make this easy for yourself, or no?"

Isi had absolutely no idea that Seras had a cell phone let alone the fact that she was calling someone, not to mention in contact with the people outside her home. Isi hadn’t necessarily be worried about the vampire out in the sun on the bench, but she had been cautious for her. That was as loving as Isi could get. Basically. If Isi had in mind for Seras to be tortured then Seras would have been trapped, trapped and chained to the table. She wouldn’t have woken up with blood in a fridge. And she most certainly would have been searched for things. The only worrisome thing about a cell phone would be the GPS device imbedded inside one for the victim wouldn’t have been able to make a call. But since Seras wasn’t subject to the same treatment she wouldn’t have been searched. The thought of a phone hadn’t crossed her mind … yet.
Isi watched from the side of her house as the black BMW parked right in front of her home. She had the perfect side angle to shoot by. The car had bullet proof windows, she could tell from the vast thickness and shade. It was sort of obvious. Come to think of it … the car that she had been driven in with Seras … it had bullet proof windows too! Were … they were after Seras! Well, they would damned not get her! Seras belonged to Isi! How did they know where Isi lived? How did they know where Seras was? Did they follow her? She hadn’t thought so. Did Seras have GPS? Had … had Seras called them? Seras belonged to Isi! Isi wouldn’t let anyone take her! And Seras, she would pay! Isi would have to punish Seras for her misbehavior. But then they could be friends again.
Isi looked through her scope. She could see the males and knew them to be armed. Where they hiding in their car? They must be supernatural then. But if they shot then they would break their precious armored glass. Isi was about to take several shots at their tires when her phone rang. Her sniper rifle still set up, her finger on the trigger, the gun aimed to take a shot. Isi answered the phone; it could have been anyone for all she knew since her eyes were glued to the scope instead of the caller I.D. She listened to the man on the other end of the phone speak. Her lips curved with dissatisfaction. It had cost a small fortune for her phone to be hooked up to a satellite of its own. It was completely untraceable and somehow her number had got out. Isi must have been getting sloppy. For God’s sake she had a vampire in her basement and had fed her buffet!
“The girl belongs to me. You shant have her. Now step out of the car.” Isi hung up. It sort of went without saying that Isi never did things the easy way. Like a well oiled machine Isi began to shoot into three of the cars wheels. She didn’t have access to the forth wheel. Just for show Isi shot into the large back window so that the men would know she was quite serious. The gun made no noise as it fired so the only noise came from the bullets hitting the tires and back window. Isi was safe until one of them decided to open a window a notch and fire back. But of course Isi would get bullets inside too …
“I should have brought the uzi.” Isi muttered to herself as she continued firing into their wheels. If she got their wheels which she did, they wouldn’t be able to leave. Isi couldn’t let them leave. She had to kill them! If possible she would have to bring the uzi out. It would bring down trees – Oh the strength of the uzi. It would be a pain in a bitch to clean up evidence.

"Tisk tisk... do you always fire first, Miss? What a lack of manners."
The voice on the other end of the celli was calm and not the least bit shaken up by the gunfire. He had expected as much.
"As I had said, we're here to see Seras, Miss. She DID call for us, after all. What you do with her after our leave is entirely up to you, but mind you I like to sleep at night knowing my customers will return to me the next day safe and sound for another transaction."
His little speech was as strange as it was hypocritical. But nonetheless, he didn't seem to fancy violence, at least not in that moment. Little did Isi know, there was a point to them waiting and not making the first move.
Someplace deep inside the house, the security on the lower level had been bypassed and a lone figure walked about casually. He covered a few hallways before making it to a cellar door. It looked heavy and well locked. It would take a few minutes at the very least to crack it.
Inside, Seras sat on the cold floor, her back against the corner. She was still crying and shaking and a really big mess. Her arm was bleeding all over the concrete floor and the blood from her head was running down her cheek and dripping off her chin, leaving a little pool in her lap. Still, no matter how much pain she was in physically, it didn't matter compared to how horrible she felt for having said what she did about her beloved Hiro. It was strange to think the other side of her had long since been over him and wanted nothing to do with the man. The girl began clawing at her arm again, desperate for the itching, burning feeling to just go away.
A short while later, there was a blinding light when the door opened to a lit room.
"Hey... Seras? Are you in here?" a voice asked, the man soon covered his nose because the stench of blood and urine was heavy in the dark room.
A small whimper came from the girl, but when the man approached her slowly, she grew wide eyed. Terror stricken and horrible as she was though, a small part of her was glad to see him because she knew he could help get her what she wanted.
"My god, what have you done to yourself?"
Seras averted her eyes before simply shutting them tight. Her bottom lip was trembling alot and her legs were shaking. She looked like she had been to hell and back. It pained her to not be able to ask for the drugs she so desperately wanted, but she wouldn't allow herself to ever speak to anyone anymore. Seras sat in her daze until the man approached her and she felt a cold needle press into her arm. The soothing feeling was quick to take over her body. Her shaking calmed down and she stopped scratching her arm. But she still didn't move or say anything.
"I'll let him know you're.... well alright... I guess?"
The man turned to leave. They weren't going to take her away from someone she had been so happy to be with earlier. He left a few syringes and a little baggie of heroin along with a water bottle with the girl and began to walk out of the cellar.
"Um... don't tell the boss about this... but...."
He knelt down and placed a silver cross on the cold floor. Its bottom point was carved into a sharp stake.
"Just think about it first, okay?" Then he was gone, closing and locking the door behind him. A few minutes later, he was safely out of the home, undetected for now.
As Isi watched through her rifle scope, the people in the car had counted on her being low on bullets now and soon another vehicle sped up to theirs from towards the side of the home. It stopped, the others rushed in under cover from their car, and they sped off.
"Well now, it would seem our little Seras will be alright indeed. But on a side note, you ought to reconsider your security situation." The man on the line hung up.

“Don’t really have much use for manners.” Isi muttered in response. She wasn’t insulted because it was true. Nothing really could throw her off of what she was doing unless someone uttered something about her family ties – Which she knew was impossible. Uttering something as simple as that would probably get Isi to charge the car fully pissed off and use her sniper as a bat. Thank goodness no one except Ana knew her one and true weakness. She continued to fire away into the wheels of the car. No one would be able to leave alive!
Isi opened her mouth. Then closed it. She was unsettled by what the man said. Seras called them. It was so simple. It was so obvious. Isi had too much invested in this that it caused her to not think clear. She hadn’t checked Seras for anything, of course she still had her cell phone on her person. Isi just thought of the ransacked room and she wasn’t going to torture Seras, she had just left her down there in the dark room away from the sun so Isi could get some sleep without fear of being killed in her sleep. “Why do you need to see Seras for? What’s your business with her!?”
Isi was shocked as a second car appeared. It seemed so simple, of course, now at the present time. Isi was cursing herself and all the mistakes she was making. By all honest accounts of her mistakes she should be dead by now. She had made way too many blunders and bo-bo’s! “Fuck it all to hell!” Isi muttered. Confused. She thought she managed to injure someone as they made their way into the second car and retreated. Isi couldn’t help but wonder what that was all about? They didn’t invade her home. They just left her a car and got in another one. Wait. Was there a bomb in that car? Shit.
To top it off, people had seen Isi’s face, knew where she lived and were still alive! They had seen her weapons, her house, and something about her security system? They were just outside … Was it all some sort of a test? And now Isi had a car to get rid of. Bullets to clean up. And a certain little vampire to deal with. Isi ran back inside her house from the door she had left unlocked, threw the sniper rifle down on the ground and ran down the stairs, glock aimed, to see Seras. “SERAS!” Isi cried out. She was not happy. “Did you … you call those … those people! You … you … what the hell. Needles? Is that … drugs?” Isi now knew that the drugs in the hotel room weren’t some vandalizer or bus boy who had seen the empty room and thought “what the hell” they were Seras’ and that whole thing outside … effort to give Seras drugs? . . .
“I didn’t know vampires were drug addicts! You … they know where I live … you know where I live!” Isi was so pissed off she might be turning purple in the face. If Seras thought the pain in the alley was harsh. Just wait and see what happened to a vampire in a hunters safe home which had just been exposed to who knows what sort of people. Isi had to move and it was going to be sad considering she had invested a lot of time, money, and escape passageways into her home. She was cursing herself for making the single greatest mistake of her life. She knew if she rewinded her security tapes that she would see a stranger entering her home and dropping off things to Seras. “Give me one good reason. One good reason!”

[ums he wuz just trying to be nice. like if she wanted to put her out of her misery? idk im sryy]
Seras was alarmed when Isi had barged into the cellar. A gun pointed at her face now. At this point, she was so warped in the head it didn't barely strike her as ordinary. But instead, it hurt far worse when Isi yelled about her drug addiction. It seemed more like a question, but to Seras it only made her feel more pathetic. That's what she was, wasn't she? Nothing but a little pathetic excuse for a vampire? Her expression was almost blank, except for some tears running down her face. But that may have just been more blood from her head. The girl couldn't hardly think straight, and to top it off she was so high on drugs and beyond depressed about everything, it would be like talking to someone in an asylum. The cold cellar seemed like one enough as it was.
Seras' eyes were glued to the silver stake in the shape of a cross that someone had left her. It was across the room on the floor, only a few yards out of reach. However, the girl opened another syringe and prepared herself some more drugs. Anything to get certain thoughts and fears out of her. But out of fear for Isi was there watching her, she could barely lift the needle to her arm and she accidentally dropped it on the ground.
What Isi didn't know, though, is that she had nothing to fear. The people whom visited her only meant to see Seras, and they still had no qualms with Isi. They knew where she lived, sure, but these people she had known to be some of the most trustworthy people out there. They kept the most bizarre secrets.

[[No weason to be sowwy. I was just curious. Sowwy. ><’ ]]
“Are you an addict? I didn’t know vampires could be addicts to substances.” Isi watched the needle roll across the floor. It was still within Seras’ reach since Isi was still on the stairway. Any pain Isi would give Seras wouldn’t be felt because the girl was obviously too drugged up to feel anything. Were the drugs hyped up so that vampires could feel them? Isi walked slowly towards the needle and picked it up. The cross and more specifically, wooden stake caught her eye. “Well that’s unusual.” She muttered as she examined the needle. She could most easily throw it on the wall to shatter it. Would Seras lick the wall? The ground?
In a gesture one might take as kindness, Isi bent down on eye level of Seras. “Where does this go?” She muttered. She ran the needle down Seras’ arm unsure of where to plunge it in. Isi had never been a drug user. She had never been with the drug type of crowd. She enjoyed the finger things in life. She chose a spot and plunged the needle into the vampires arm. After Seras had her drug high she would wake up on the same table, strapped and about to receive a hell of a lot of pain. It would be better for the girl if the drugs effects remained for a very long time. Isi was so fucking pissed off for her lair to be exposed.
