::SUMMARY:: Having live for a little over two thousand years, Gabriel has reached a high level of logic and intelligence. His high level of intelligence makes it hard for people to trick him or try and get something past him. His intelligence also allows him to analyze a situation quickly, which directly feeds his decisiveness. His ability to make quick decisions makes him a big asset when in a tough spot. Through the years he’s also learned several forms of fighting from different cultures. His ability and expertise in these different fighting forms, mixed with his Angelic abilities, makes him a more then dangerous foe for Demons.

::SUMMARY:: Gabriel is relatively young compared to other Angels; because of this, he will react without thinking sometimes. Mix that with his inexperience of the human world and demons, and that makes for a bad combination. He can be a liability and times and isn’t necessarily the first choice for a mission handed down from above. Then there is the fact that he thinks that he is arrogant. He thinks that because he is an Angel he doesn’t have to worry about anything. He thinks that he is better then everyone, and you can see it in how he carries himself. All in all, his biggest weakness is that he is young, but that could change in time.

::SUMMARY:: Gabriel is everything in appearance that you wouldn't expect an Angel to be. He doesn't wear all white, let alone a white robe; and there is definitely no halo to be seen. He has an olive complexion that mixes well with his brown hair. His eyes are a bright blue, and remind some of the light blue colored sea waters off the shores of the Bahamas. As far as his body goes, he's a relatively small guy, but he is still muscular. His muscles are very well defined and some might consider it to be a work of art. When he is in the human world, he always dresses rather nicely. There are times when you might catch him wearing blue jeans, but it is usually accompanied by a nice, dressy shirt.

::SUMMARY:: Gabriel loves everything involving nature; from animals to plants, even good and bad weather. He believes that they are signs of what was meant to be. This has also led to his hate for all things manmade. He feels as if it has destroyed everything that the creator had intended. Gabriel also likes people that have morality; the types that can’t do something wrong even if people aren’t looking. With this comes his dislike for those that are immoral. Though, he doesn’t hate those that don’t try and hide it as much as he hates the people who try to hide their immorality.

Gabriel is the type of guy that knows how good he is and he carries himself accordingly. He’ll walk into a room and people will want to hate him without even knowing who he is, and it doesn’t get any better when he talks; that’s if you can get him to talk. The Angel is very anti-social and is more likely to just ignore you or walk away from you then he is to talk to you. If you manage to get him to talk, don’t try and get him to see things your way or even express your views, or else you will hear a lot of choice words from him. He believes that the way he sees things in the only way to see things.

Now, if you manage to get to know him and befriend him, then you will have hit the jackpot. If he takes you in as a friend, he is the most loyal friend that you will ever have. He’s the type of guy that you can tell any secret to and he will keep it. There is literally nothing that you can’t trust him with. He is also very sympathetic and can understand more then you could know. If you give him a chance to be there for you, he can show you just how much he cares and how much he feels for those that are less fortunate then himself.

Historical Stuff

::HISTORY::
Gabriel was created around 1 BC, just before the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. When created, the Angel was in the form of a young adult. He was created to take on the responsibility of watching over the human world for the next five thousand years. In case the portal to the Demon Realm was to ever reopen, the Angel was charged with roaming the human world in search of signs that would point to its reopening. Once given his charge, Gabriel descended upon the Earth and began his five thousand year mission.

Through his early years, Gabriel was visited by fellow Angels who were tasked with teaching him their ways and how to use his powers in case there was ever a need for him to use them. His training on Earth took place for his first hundred years of existence while he still roamed the world, fulfilling his mandate. In this time, he learned how to teleport through the different plains of reality, allowing him to be one place on moment, and completely different place another. He also learned how to create Angelic Fire and how to manipulate it to the extent of turning it into an Angelic Weapon.

Along with learning his abilities, Gabriel was taught how to fight and kill Demons in case he was to ever have to confront one. He learned that the flames he could create, along with the weapons he could create with them, were the only things that could kill a Demon. He also learned that his natural voice, Angelic Voice, was excruciatingly painful for a Demon to listen to and was also a powerful weapon against any Demon he might have to face. With all the knowledge and skills he learned, he continued his journey on the Earth all alone.

In his years of solitude, Gabriel became very anti-social; never making any friends, even with fellow Angels that he occasionally bumped into. It made his only escape from loneliness the nature that surrounded him; but during his travels he realized that human civilizations such as the Roman Empire had begun to destroy the nature that he loved. This destruction of nature to build cities, monuments, and temples fueled Gabriel’s intolerance for all things man made. It made him feel as if the humans did not respect what the creator had given them.

During his time in the Human World, Gabriel has seen many things. He has seen the fall of Rome and the rise of Christianity. The Angel has seen wars waged in the name of the creator. He has seen the horrible things that humans can do to other humans. There were times during these dark ages that he felt it might just be best for the Demons to consume the Human World, because it was already lost despite there being no Demons to influence the humans to do evil acts. These thoughts caused Gabriel to lose faith in humanity, but only for the time being.

During this time, Gabriel continues his travels. He eventually ended up in what is known as China. While there, he discovered an interesting form of fighting that the natives there called Wushu, what is now known as karate or martial arts. He decided that he liked it so much that he stayed in China and began to learn the form of fighting from the natives who had mastered it. It took him years to learn and master the fighting form.

Centuries later, the madness had ended and the Humans had begun to break free from their evil ways. They had begun to once again embrace religion and had begun a journey of intellectual exploration. Chaos no longer ruled the Earth; instead it was literature and science that spread. Humans had begun to think logically and for themselves, thus starting the beginning of the modern world; and helped restore Gabriel’s faith in humanity.

Still, it would not be long before the Humans began to use their new found knowledge and intelligence for evil instead of good. Firearms, cannons, explosives all came around with the discovery of potassium nitrate. These discoveries came just in time for another series of wars that would ravage the human population and the land on which they lived. The death tolls in wars began to climb as the technology grew and became better. It seemed as if what was supposed to save humanity was going to destroy it.

Gabriel stood back and watched as fellow countrymen killed each other in the American Revolution and then continued to stand back and watch as family members killed each other in The American Civil War. It seemed as if humanity was imploding and would end with the destruction of the Earth. Even after the wars were over for the time being, hatred began to boil between humans. Racism took grip in America and across the globe. Gabriel found it ridiculous and illogical for humans to hate each other based on the color of their skin. They were all the same and had come from one creator.

Racism wasn’t there only problem however; as time passed, weapons technology continued to grow. The machine gun had been invented, and higher grade explosives had been discovered. Then in Europe, a single assassination sparked the First World War With these new explosives and machine guns at the ready, the First World War killed more people then any war ever had. Still, Gabriel sat back and watched as the human race continued down their dark path.

As the war ended, it seemed that there might finally be peace, but twenty years later, Germany would start the Second World War. Now with almost every country involved have airplanes and bombs, it was sure thing that even more people would die this time around. The tolls of the war alone were devastating, not to mention the tolls of the Holocaust. Then came the unthinkable, the first nuclear weapon. Mankind know had the power to kill over a hundred thousand people in less then a minute, which would one day be sure to ensure the end of mankind.

The time has passed slowly since then. It has been sixty-four years and mankind has created even more powerful nuclear weapons and enhanced the accuracy of deadly bombs and guns. But now, that is the least of their problems. Gabriel finally saw signs that the Demon Realm had reopened and reported back to the Angels in Heaven. Now there is another war going on, one that the Humans do not see; a war between Angels and Demons. A war for the souls of humanity, and no matter how doomed they are; Gabriel is tasked with saving them.

Asmodai betrayed his master, the former Demon King, and sealed off the Demon world for 666 millenniums. This ended the Angels’ siege of the Demon Realm as they were no longer a threat to humans. With the threat seemingly gone, few Angels stayed amongst the humans to watch over them. During his time of isolation, Asmodai had a change of heart, but could not undo his spell. Thus, when the spell wore off on August, 6 at 6am, the portal to the Demon Realm reopened. With Demons now walking amongst the humans, the majority of Angels have descended to the human world to protect the humans from the demons.

Matthew followed the young woman to the door and stood there, knowing that he couldn’t enter until he was invited in. The vampire watched as Nicola walked into the house and began to listen to the conversation between her and her parents. As he listened, he stood tall just outside the door and watched as the young woman’s father made his way to the door and then asked who he was. As Nicola answered, the vampire continued to stand there, acting as if he was in a perfectly normal situation. As the young woman finished answering, Matthew picked up right where she left off and spoke,“As she said, I’m Matthew Corvinus. I own a medical research company based in New York City called Maestro. I was running my companies booth at her school for a career seminar, talking to students that were interested in medical research.”

The vampire paused for a moment, looking at Nicola’s father; who seemed to be trying to stare a hole right through him. Matthew then looked back over to the street, eying his car for a second and then looked back over at the young woman’s father. He was hoping that he had heard his name in the news or seen it in the papers, or at least had heard of his company. The vampire then smiled slightly and spoke,“Well, your daughter approached my booth and seemed to be very interested in medical research, specifically wanting to know if we were doing research on a medical condition known as C.I.P.A.. When I told her that we did, the conversation continued and ended with me being amazed with her knowledge of the condition.”

Matthew paused once more, allowing the young woman’s father to gather in everything that he had just said. While he paused though, he was wondering whether the man believed anything that he was saying, but that was not his biggest concern. His biggest concern was being asked to come in. If he wasn’t asked to come in, he would never be allowed to enter the home. Still, if they didn’t ask him to come in, he still had to at least continue with his little lie. The vampire took a slight breath and then spoke,“Needless to say, in my line of work it is important to have people working for you that are passionate about what they are doing. So, I offered her a job as a research assistant, but she said that I would have to ask her parents before she could accept the job.”

At this point in time, he was hoping that her parents were at least intrigued by the offer; but that was the easy part. He had to convince them that it was for the best for her to move out of their house, and that wouldn’t be easy; but that was why he would be adding the full medical expenses and paying for her college degree. At this point, the vampire then looked Nicola’s father in the eyes, and spoke,“Now, along with getting paid salary for her work; she’ll get full medical benefits and no deductible; I’ll be paying for her tuition as long as she is working for me; and I will also be setting her up in an apartment between the research facility and her school.”
