Summary
Minerva has not needed to practise the art of attraction as once she turned Vampire there was no need to. She is irresistible even to other species (especially humans) and she enjoys teasing them with this power. Minerva feels no remorse for killing anything in fact she lives for it.
Along with her skills of allurement, Minerva can also easily penetrate the minds of the weak and persuade them to let her feed from them, afterwards she often kills them. Although she can contact other vampires with this method also she usually doesn’t since she prefers to hunt alone. Company is welcome to Minerva as she adores attention.
Throughout the years of her eternal life, Minerva has perfected the act of controlling her bloodlust. She is now able to resist the urge to feed unless she is without food for a drastically prolonged amount of time. She has no interest in human food as they are her prey and she likes to keep herself at the top of the food chain.
Minerva may be something nice to look at but she certainly should not be underestimated as she has a passion for killing and was taught by her sire. She is skilled in fighting and in most weaponry including modern equipment. If there is a fight Minerva will most definitely defend herself well.
Weaknesses
- Sun
- Stubborn
- Silver
- Holy water
- Easily flattered
- Attention seeker
Sunlight is fatal to all Vampires and it is because of this that Minerva hates the sun. She is a creature of darkness and you won’t find her wandering about during the day unless she wants to turn to ash which she would rather avoid.
Vampires also have a lethal allergy to holy water but that doesn’t stop Minerva from entering a church. She doesn’t have much faith now but she hates showing weakness so she will go inside the church and touch the holy water if need be. She can always heal later but most of the time she tries to avoid it. For either to kill her, it depends on the quantity and amount of time that she is in contact with the substance.
Minerva is known to be very stubborn and it is useless (and also extremely infuriating) to argue with her. She likes to be right and even if she’s wrong you had better say she is otherwise you will face her wrath. Not a nice thing to do.
Both Vampires and Werewolves are lethally allergic to silver and Minerva doesn’t know which is worse; that Vampires share an allergy with Werewolves or the actual silver. She doesn’t exactly dislike Werewolves just one in particular. In fact detest would be a better word.
Minerva is aware and very proud of her beauty and has received many compliments throughout her lifetimes. She is easily distracted if you pay her a compliment but that doesn’t mean she’s stupid; in fact she is quite intelligent. If you want her to do something for you just try your hand at flattery but remember to come up with something original, she likes that.
Minerva likes to be the centre of attention and so it is often hard for her to not show people her supernatural abilities. Even her sire had a hard time trying to get her to conceal her true self but she is in control now, most of the time. She might not be able to resist.
On the Outside

Hair Long, blonde
Eyes Grey
Height 5’10
Weight 70 lb
Marks Tattoo on back of left shoulder "La bella notte"
Skin Tone Flawless and pale
Clothes Anything that makes her look great really
Summary
Minerva is fully aware of her remarkable beauty in fact that was one of the reasons why she was changed into a vampire. It is because of this that she is quite conceited about it but then again everyone likes someone who is confident about themselves. She has a number of other abilities also.
Her long, blonde hair is all natural and she likes to wear it loose most of the time but she is known to put her hair up when something is bothering her. Ordinarily her eyes are grey but when she scents blood or requires to feed her eyes change to a violet shade. She always looks her best and never goes outside with something out of place. Her typical style of clothing is usually black or red colours and she loves to wear leather especially leather boots or jackets.
The tattoo on the back of her left shoulder reads “La belle notte” which is Italian means “The beautiful night”. She was born in Rome, Italy and likes to keep something as a reminder of her time there (although she does have very good memory). The tattoo resembles the time when she and her sire set a great fire in her home which killed her family, she has no regret doing so but because of her once Christian beliefs she had to have something to remind her of her “great sin”.

Summary
Minerva has known throughout her whole human life that she is remarkably beautiful. She is very proud of it and it is one of the reasons why she was changed in the first place. She loves to be complimented; in fact if you don’t then she’d do something awful to you. If you want something from her then the best piece of advice is to pay her a compliment as she is easily flattered. She likes to look her best at all times and she doesn’t need to do much for that.
She is known for her affinity to killing and has done a number of wicked things throughout her lifetimes. She does have control over her bloodlust but she can’t help but enjoy the pleasure of torturing someone.
She has no patience for people who disagree with her as she likes to be right even when she’s wrong; it is best not to tell her if she is since she will probably murder you for it. She sees this as disrespect as she likes to be in authority, demanding things and telling people what to do is heavenly…but hellish to those who have to endure it.
Even though Minerva likes to be surrounded by a crowd of attractive men she is very loyal but only to the right person. If she was to become someone’s partner then she would be devoted to that person. She hasn’t met the right someone yet so gather around!
Minerva might not seem like the courageous type but in fact she is. She is very opinionated and will most certainly let you know what she thinks of you straight away, no matter how old or what status you have. She is very confident and not afraid of anything.
The Soul’s Memoirs
Family Members All deceased
Birth Place Rome, Italy, during the 18th century
Childhood Minerva had a very difficult life as she never really knew her parents at all. They didn’t have any interest in her but expected her to be the “perfect daughter” whenever they had guests.
Transformation Turned by Sir William in 1760
Prey Mostly Humans
Fang Power Minerva can influence her prey when she bites as since her fangs are coated in venom which is then injected into the bloodstream of the victim and affects the nerve system she can cause the victim to feel no pain during the process or from the actual bite, or she can do the opposite.
Turning Others She has never tried it but she knows that she must inject her venom into the bloodstream of her victim and then give the victim some of her own blood.
History
For Minerva, her human life was difficult and far from joyful. She was born Minerva Lorelle de Castello and her parents owned a great manor (Castello Manor) in Rome, Italy which had been in their family for generations. It seemed like she was living the high life but it was very lonely as her parents were usually away on business as they were very wealthy and very greedy as they liked to invest in things which would make them more money.
Minerva was left in the grand house alone apart from the servants and was treated as if she were invisible. She felt like an orphan and even when her parents were home they never took any interest in her unless they had guests and she would have to act like the “perfect daughter”. Minerva grew to hate them and she vowed that she would have her revenge on them.
Her parents were desperate to marry her off so they wouldn’t need to keep her under their roof and so they attended dances as often as they could. Minerva loved parties so she didn’t really mind and she only needed to walk into a room to be stared at by admiring eyes but she was always too miserable to care.
It was at one of these parties, held by her family’s closest friends, that she saw him. He was clearly a foreigner, attractive and mysterious. Minerva was instantly drawn to him and she assumed so was he as he didn’t take his eyes off of her the entire evening. Minerva felt too shy to talk to him herself as he was making her feel a little uncomfortable. Her parents naturally were thrilled to introduce her to him since he was from London in England where she could be hundred of miles away from them.
The man introduced himself as Sir William and when he was alone with her he talked about the strangest things that she never even knew existed. She thought he was only teasing her but she was intrigued by it. Minerva felt that she would tire of him soon enough but to her surprise he remained as mysterious as ever which caused her to pursue him further.
On her 19th birthday Sir William told her that he had a special gift for her. Minerva did not think that there was anything wrong when he lead her to a dark corner where they wouldn’t be seen or interrupted by anyone. She felt she could trust him and he made her feel wanted so that was enough for her. She will always remember the bloodthirsty look he gave her and how his eyes changed to a violet shade before he moved at an inhumanly speed to bite her neck. She hadn’t had time to scream for help and she felt like she was falling, falling into blackness.
She knew that she was slowly drifting into consciousness when she felt a burning sensation coursing throughout her entire body; she felt too weak to cry out in pain. Suddenly something was pushed in front of her face but her vision was out of focus so she couldn’t see what it was and then a rusty, metallic liquid flowed into her mouth which tasted awful at first but then gradually it became sweet and delicious. She clamped the object to her mouth and realised from the touch that it was a wrist and she was drinking blood.
Minerva abruptly sat up in a much more swifter and graceful movement than she was capable of. Sir William was by her side and tried to soother her, explaining to that he was a vampire and she could be one too. Minerva didn’t like the sound of that but when Sir William told her that she could take revenge on her parents she immediately agreed. After a few more drops of Sir William’s blood she was able to stand up and she felt like she had been reborn; she was different but her Christian beliefs told her that she was unholy. Her senses were incredibly enhanced and she felt powerful so she decided it was a small price to pay.
Minerva kept to her vow and set fire to Castello Manor burning her parents alive in the process. Their screams only added to her enjoyment and her sire was pleased at how she turned out. He told her that he had seen her potential for greatness. She travelled with Sir William and together they wrecked havoc wherever they went. Because of her irresistible charms many called her Desiree and she adopted the name to replace her hated surname. However, she did have a tattoo imprinted onto the back of her left shoulder to remind her of when she was transformed and the beginning of her sins.
About a century later Minerva Desiree met a werewolf named Lady Artemis. Her sire hated her and so she felt she should too but she wanted to make her own judgement on her. Apparently, Sir William and Lady Artemis were old enemies. One night Minerva came back from a hunt to the manor in which they were staying in to see Artemis plunging a silver sword into Sir William’s chest. He probably would have been fine had it not have pierced his heart and he turned to ash littering the floor with his remains. Minerva was furious and fought with Artemis but she managed to get out alive.
