Religious Affiliation: Believes very loosely in Animism

Job: Who needs a job?Dear Diary;;
Specialties:
1. Pick-Pocketing/Stealing
2. Lying
3. Smooth-talker
4. Stealth
Summary:
Her one major skill is the ability to pick-pocket. She’s practiced it and perfected her skill and can get away with it each time. This goes to show for just how stealthy she can be. Being a cat, a cat that grows up in mountainy areas with forests, she can sneak around anywhere without being caught. When other immortals are around, they may smell her, but they aren’t going to be able to see her or hear her if she doesn’t want them to. She usually uses this to sneak in, grab someone’s wallet, and disappear. This also comes in handy when she straight-up tries to steal from a business.
She is also pretty good at lying and smooth-talking her way out of things. Jazz can lie her way out of anything or just plain sweet-talk someone into doing anything for her. It helps that’s she’s pretty easy on the eyes. It’s a little harder for her to be a smooth-talker if she’s wearing her older, more ragged clothes. However, no matter what, her lying is above par. She has an excuse for everything and she always keeps what lies she made straight with who she told it to. She has several aliases.
A lot of weres have it easy when it comes to shifting. However, she learned to keep herself from shifting away from the moon younger than few people. She can shift at will and it never hurts her. It doesn’t matter how often she shifts in a out of her were form, either. For her it’s a little harder for her to get tired and so she can go several times, back and forth from human to cougar, without needing to rest or eat. Her limit so far is twenty back-and-forths.
Weakness:
1. Shiny objects
2. Drawn to things that move
3. Homeless
4. Her brother
Summary:
There are few things that sufficiently distract her from getting something done. Shiny objects are one. She’s been able to control it a little bit more, but if it’s seriously shiny, like it catches the light at all, she’ll drop whatever it was she was doing and run to see what it was. Moving objects is another thing. This obviously doesn’t mean people who are walking. Inanimate objects that move of their own will—not by light or someone pushing it, but like those bobbing birds—intrigue her. Sometimes, if someone suddenly takes off running, she may shift and chase them. It’s caused a lot of problems.
She’s not exactly rich. Jazz hasn’t ever lived in an actual town or city until recently, so she has no money, no home. . . She just wanders around the city, taking refuge in one an abandoned building. It’s not technically hers, and she has to move buildings sometimes in order to keep any enemies she may have from finding her brother. Sometimes they get to stay in one building for more than a few weeks. She also fears that if she buys a real house, the ones that killed her family will be able to find them and will finish what they started.
Tobi is the most important thing in her life. The two of them are the last of their family, and he is only ten. They grew up extremely close, and it has remained as such. He looks up to her as a sort of mother figure, and she protects him like she was her own son. Anything she does is usually for him, and she would give her life for the boy at any chance she possibly could. Most of the money she pilfers off people go to him, and whatever’s left is hers. He is the one thing that she has to lose, and she does all she can to make sure she doesn’t lose him. He has some time before he’s ready to go out on his own.Human Appearance;;
Hair: Very reddish-auburn.
Eyes: Dark brown
Height: Five foot three
Marks: None. Just a few scars here and there.
Race: Australian
Skin Tone: About average. A littler more on the pale side.
Body Type: Curvy
Clothing Style: From rags to regal. Whatever she happens to have the money for. It also depends on how old the clothes are and how often she can pay for new clothes.
Footwear: Barefoot, tennis shoes, again, just whatever she can get her hands on.
Summary:
The only real thing that sets her apart from everyone else is her constantly changing style. Sometimes she’ll be seen wearing the rattiest clothes. Torn jeans, dirty shirts. . . It all just depends on how much “income” she has that week. She often just has on a pair of sneakers or flip-flops, cheap shoes. Though some days she may just go barefoot if they shoes aren’t even in walking condition anymore. She keeps a certain outfit in good condition though so she can blend in better when she tries to steal from someone.
She is quite pretty for a homeless person. Sometimes her red, shoulder blade-length hair is nappy and unkempt—since she doesn’t always have the luxery of showering—but she tries to keep herself at least semi-clean. It helps when she can shift into her cougar form, clean herself, then shift back and look like she’d just gotten out of the shower. Most of the time she doesn’t get the chance to style her hair, so she’ll either throw up in a pony tail or just wear it down. It’s naturally got a good amount of waves, so it looks good either way.
Despite the fact that she spends a lot of time outside, she has kind of pale skin. She has issues getting tans, but her time in the sun keeps her from being vampire-pale. She’s not all that tall, but she’s not exactly short. She’s a little below average, standing at five feet three inches. She sports it well though, with a thin and curvy body. She’s not so thin that she’s a stick, she has some meat on her bones. Her eyes are a dark chocolate color, but when she’s feeling extremely angry or sad, they’ll become more blue.Were Appearance;;
Eye Color: Light blue
Fur Color: Light brown, almost gold, with a gray chest and belly. Her tail tip is a dark brown.
Fur Length: It’s quite short all over her.
Fur Texture: Soft
Size: She’s about three and a half feet tall at the shoulders and ten and a half feet from nose to tail-tip. She weighs around 189 pounds.

Summary:
She spent the majority of her life living in the mountains, so she tends to like things in that kind of life. She loves looking at the stars and being out in the open. It’s the best feeling for her to be just lying in a field of grass, staring at the stars. She hates the feeling being stuck in a closed space or being stuck in one area. In the mountains she had been free to go wherever she wanted. She’s getting a little more angsty now that she’s stuck in New York, hiding from the bears, but she does it all to keep her brother safe until he’s ready to go off on his own.
Living in the wild and growing up with nothing except what you could find, she’s not a very greedy person and does have a want for any sort of material items. Accessories, phones, anything she doesn’t need. She hates people who think they need things to make them happy or get them through life, and the rich people who make that a necessity. The only things a person needs is food, water, and shelter. Anything else is superfluous and just a reason for the rich to get richer. The bears are an example of that. It was a band of werebears that had killed her family, and they were all business people who thought her family’s way of life was stupid.
Though it isn’t too bad, Jazz can be quite impulsive. She doesn’t think before she acts, and this causes her to do things she might not have, and it also causes her to be blunt. She doesn’t care if what she says will hurt someone’s feelings. She can keep herself from saying something stupid if she thinks she’ll get hurt over it, but if there is no threat of physical harm, she says whatever’s on her mind. It makes her into a sort of loner, but that’s normal for a cougar to be more of a loner. However, she is a lot more serious than most cats are. She doesn’t get playful often. Everything is always business.
Because she can be a loner a lot, she’s very independent. She can take care of herself and prefers it over being taken care of. However, this does not mean she is not going to help someone in need. She can be pretty kind to everyone, even if she does say very blunt things. She doesn’t sugar coat things, which can actually be a lot more helpful. She’s very cautious around people, though. This helps her get out of trouble quicker when she’s constantly ready for it, and she always seems tense because of it, but it helps a lot more than it really helps her. When she does come across someone she likes and befriends, she is loyal as a dog. Odd, but it does happen.Background Check;;
Family Members:
Rhodia—her mother. She was born human and turned by Derrik. She is dead now.
Derrik—her father. He was born a cougar. He is also dead now.
Allyza—her twin sister. She was born a cougar. She is dead now.
Fiona—her triplet. She was born a cougar. She committed suicide after Allyza’s death.
Nickolette—her older sister. She was born a human. Rhodia turned her while Jazz was still at a young age. She was found by the bears and killed.
Tobi—the youngest member of the family. He was born a cougar and is living in New York with Jazelle.
Birth Place:
She wasn’t born in any known town or city or village. She was born somewhere in the Colorado Rockies, near Gunnison, Colorado.
Childhood:
It was spent “roughing it” in the wild with her parents and three sisters.
Transformation:
She was born a were.
Prey:
As a human she eats human food. She needs more meat than usual, though, and prefers it extremely rare. Like. . . The cow is still mooing, rare. She needs raw flesh once or twice every month. It depends on how much she exercised or whether or not she got hurt.
When she’s in her were form, she usually tries to find someone who’s rich. Stalks them where they live, kills and eats them, then takes whatever’s in their house!
Moon Tidings:
She learned a young age—25—how to control her shifts. She stopped aging physically then. However, she continues to do her moonly shifts so she can get herself fed, and to make sure Tobi doesn’t do anything stupid, though he’s practically harmless, as he’s still a cub. She has complete control over herself the whole time, though.
Other Transformation:
She cannot do it from her human form, only from her cougar form. She has to bite them, and she has to hold onto them for longer than two minutes. Any less and it won’t work. However, this is extremely difficult for her, as in her were form she gets even more blood thirsty than usual.
History:
Derrik was the one who started it all. He was exploring the new world, in the California area. He was somewhere in the Burney Mountains when he was bitten by an Native American werecougar. It was when he returned to Australia and the love of his life that he offered her to join him. Rhodia agreed, and he turned her. The Australian region wasn’t suitable to their beasts nature, and Derrik had taken a liking to the United States, so he moved his family up there.
However, the pair soon found out that they could be around humans anymore. During the full moons they shifted and killed many people, so they moved out to the Colorado area, in what would later be called the Rockies. They did their best to stay away from anyone, and it was several years later that the triplets were born. They were named Allyza, Jazelle, and Fiona. All of them were pureblood, but the strain of giving birth to three kids took a heavy toll on Rhodia.
Her strength failing, Derrik escorted Rhodia to the nearest settlement. They were going to find medicine, or see if a few human meals could fix her. The triplets were left to nap. It wasn’t exactly a smart option, but the wildlife seemed to avoid their home—a cave (how cliché, right? But it worked)—and no one ever ventured up into the mountains. When Rhodia and Derrik came back, they had another member of their family. A thirteen year old girl. She had been wondering the streets alone, and when asked, she had said she didn’t have a family. So Rhodia took pity on the girl and brought her back to change her.
Of course, once Nickolette was turned, she was left to babysit the triplets while the two went and hunted in order to get Rhodia back to normal. It worked, and the two went about raising their children. Once the triplets were around ten years of age, Nickolette went out on her own. She may of only looked thirteen, but she was really twenty three. The triplets could be left on their own, so she no longer needed to stay and watch the kids. When the triplets turned 18 years old, they were allowed to go off on their own. The three split up, but they stayed in the Rocky Mountain area for many, many years.
However, while the kids were out, Rhodia and Derrik were having troubles with a rival werebear group. Bears in the wild didn’t hang in groups, but these bears did. They were a group of rich businessmen who had come to the mountains to develop land for houses, but Derrik and Rhodia kept them from getting their territory. Bitter, the bears vowed they would come back. It was around ten years ago that they did come back. Derrik and Rhodia had just bared another child, a little boy. They called back their daughters to help them, and together they chased away the bears.
It was not permanent. The bears were adamant about getting their land, and fearing that they would come back, eight-year-old Tobi was left in Jazz’s care. She had been off living a quiet life near Aspen, Colorado, and she was the only one who wanted to take the little boy. Days later, she caught wind from Nickolette that their parents had been killed, and the bears were coming after the rest of the family. The four daughters and Tobi were to meet up in the foothills around Fort Collins and decide what they were going to do, but Allyza never made it.
Fiona took Allyza’s murder the worst. Not to say that Jazz was any less depressed over it, but she had Tobi to think about. The three daughters split up again, but this time they left the Rocky Mountain area. Nickolette ran to the Burney Mountain range in California, Fiona went to Eldorado Peak in Washington, and Jazz moved out to the El Captain area in Texas with Tobi. They hoped that maybe they would be harder to find if they were completely spread out. . .
But they were wrong. The bears didn’t have to find Fiona. Her depression after Allyza’s murder was too much for her to bare and she killed herself. The means in which she did remains a mystery, as they never really investigated into it, but when she stopped responding to attempts to communicate with her, they assumed the worst. They tried to come after Jazz next, but she managed to escape them, sustaining only a few injuries, while she made sure Tobi was not wounded. She fled to Orlando, desperate to find someplace she could hide better, giving up her life style of living in the woods.
For several months they kept in contact with Nickolette. She was living in a small town in the Burney Mountain range, and they kept in contact through pay-as-you-go phones. One day, Jazz got a call from her adopted sister, only there was a bear on the other line. They informed her that her sister was dead, and that they were coming for her and her brother. She ditched the phone and moved up north to New York, where she had heard was a large number of immortals taking refuge. She saw potential there, and is not hiding out in the abandoned buildings.
