Summary:
Having the knack to quickly get to grips with most technical equipment is a very useful skill to have. Also, combined with the natural skill of mathematics, the subject of which he is now studying at university makes Aaron a formidable ally in a world of increasing technology. One of the most useful weapons in this technological arsenal is his ability to hack. Aaron’s fast-moving, analytical mind is almost perfect to be able to get through almost any security that is put in his way. Given a slightly different personality, he could have become a criminal mastermind and made a fortune before he was thirty.
As for running, when it is necessary, Aaron can sprint very fast. Rather handy for getting away from an angered immortal and it is usually his speed and agility that has saved his life in the past.

Summary:
Being rather skinny and wiry, physical strength has never been one of Aaron’s strong points. Despite being about average for his build, this is a distinct disadvantage when he is dealing with creatures many, many times stronger than he. His curiosity is a major weakness. Once triggered, Aaron finds it incredibly difficult to resist the urge to find out more and can end up pushing too far for information, usually to his cost. Having a low self esteem, Aaron usually takes comments and criticisms to heart, leading to him doubting himself and his purpose of living, sometimes spiralling down into depression, which he can be susceptible to. Once in a bout of depression, he may stay like that for as long as several days, occasionally contemplating ending it but knowing that he is simply too cowardly to do so. Finally, his clumsiness under pressure has put him in some dangerous situations before, where, when hiding, he had accidentally walked into, or tripped over something, giving away his position. Also, it is an irritating inconvenience that can also be set off by attempting to talk to a pretty girl, making him look foolish and useless.

He is 6ft1“, but has a tendancy to slouch, giving the appearance of being almost a couple of inches shorter than he actually is. Being skinny, and lanky with it, his muscles aren’t very toned but could be described as slightly sinewy. He always carries a notebook and pencil in his pockets and has a silver-plated knife tied to his belt so that it is normally hidden by his jumper.

Summary:
He is very logically minded and fascinated by vampires and werewolves. He has a broad sense of humour and can be quite clumsy under heavy stress. In his younger years, Aaron found it difficult to make friends, having strange ideas about the world around him and this has contributed to both his low self esteem and his insecurities, of which he has plenty.
Aaron is perfectly happy to spend time in his own company for long periods of time. It is partly the lack of much social contact that hasn’t helped with his paranoia. It can rise up inside of him at a moments notice, making him doubt both himself and his actions or words.
Being a rather selfless person at heart, Aaron hates to see others unhappy or hurt for whatever reason, and normally feels some kind of moral duty to cheer them up and make them feel better about their situation and themselves. And, in reverse, seeing that others are happy will lighten his spirits.
Due to being a bit of a nerd and having almost an obsession with science fiction and the supernatural, he hasn’t really has anything in the way of romantic relationships and so he can be nervous and shy around women, recognizing his naivety in those kind of situations.

History:
Aaron was born in Leicestershire (England) to loving parents even though they can have quite a cruel sense of humour. An example of this is shown in the fact that they named Aaron’s younger sister, Sky. His father read to him Lord of the Rings and The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy to him at an early age which is where his love of sci-fi comes from. Fascinated by the topic, Aaron soon began to widen his reading into folk-tales, hardly noticing that some of his friends drifted away from him, the more obsessive he became.
From the age of about twelve, Aaron has been able to hack into some of the most sophisticated systems in the world (except military, he decided to leave them alone in case he caused World War 3). It was on one of his online sojourns that he learnt about the possible existence of vampires and werewolves. This captured his imagination and he went searching for more conclusive proof, even going so far as to hack into the systems of Area 51, but, he found what he’d been looking for four years later when he was walking back from his friend’s, late at night. He was attacked by a vampire but saved by a werewolf. This gave him the proof that he required but made his thirst for knowledge about them insatiable so he started to look out for them to ask questions about their lives and what it’s like to be a vampire or werewolf. It has almost got him killed on several occasions. He usually manages to get away unscathed but bares several scars from tussles, including one that goes from wrist to elbow on his right arm.
Since he left school, Aaron had been travelling about, looking for more immortals to question. He didn’t tell his parents about what he was doing, and still hasn’t. There would be very little point as they probably wouldn’t believe him. Even if they did, they would only end up worrying more, which he wouldn’t want, so, he’d convinced them he was taking a gap year to see the world before university.
Now, unable to keep up the pretence of being on a gap year, Aaron is studying mathematics at Imperial College of the University of London. His work and studying has substantially curbed his excursions into the world of the night but he still manages to put off his friends demands to go into town and party a couple of nights a week, to have his own outings.
