Specialties:
1. Telepath
2. Telepathy
3. Super Speed
4. Super Healing
5. Defy Gravity
Summary:
Born in 1769 into a family of pure blooded vampires, Zakhar quickly learnt how to use his powers. His family being a family of killers for hire, he was quickly taught how to communicate with other vampires by thought only, a skill which would help him many times in the years to come. He is able to give commands to other vampires in the team without humans and shape shifters knowing what is happening. This helps maintain the element of surprise, for the entire team is sometimes able to get right up to the target, and even strike before they know what is happening.
The family business, nicknamed “The Firm”, uses only vampires with the best powers. Besides contacting each other through the mind, a basic skill which Zakhar possesses is the ability to read minds of the weaker species, the humans, and the some shape shifters. A common job he is hired for is finding out information about the enemy of the employer, by merely sitting near them and listening to their thoughts, and reading it should they be thinking of something else. Thoughts and memories can be possessed through drinking their blood too, another option that Zakhar prefers.
Zakhar is a bloodthirsty vampire, who often thinks of the hunger inside him before the job at hand, hence his nickname “The Hunger”. However, despite his savage mind, he is a very controlled killer, moving in swift, fast motions. His speed is one of the faster known to a vampire, but he often pauses between each spurt, locating his next location for a mere few seconds. Despite being able to tear a man apart with a knife limb by limb before any part hits the ground, he often slows down, so he can appreciate the kill.
Like most vampires, he has the ability to heal faster, usually with the help of extra blood. His ability to heal without blood can only take so much, and often he will need the use of blood, for he charges into a battle, forgetting his own safety. He is able to take a heavy beating, well before needing the blood, but often he chooses the blood for the sake of it.
Because his jobs aren’t all to do with humans, Zakhar spent most of his first century learning and perfecting the skill of defying gravity. After loosing a shape shifter on the roof tops of Rome, he pushed himself till he could do the same, and more. Throwing himself off cliffs repeatedly, he eventually learned how to land safely, with the help of a Novosi mentor.
Weakness:
1. Sun
2. Silver
3. Unable to read the minds of strong shape shifters
Summary:
Like all vampires, Zakhar cannot bear the sun, for he will begin to burn slowly, and eventually burst into flames, his powers going mental. Silver is similar to him, like a bullet on fire. As soon as it pierces his skin, it will pass straight through, but will burn a hole in him, which will take longer to heal and definitely need the help of blood. Zakhar prides himself on his powers, but there are some shape shifters, and most vampires that he cannot read the minds of. Although he can communicate with other vampires through thought, he cannot read their minds. He has found that he can only read the minds of fledging vampires, unable to block his thoughts. Most shape shifters can be read, but a few, older shape shifters can block his power, and can detect him through it as well.Appearance;;

Summary:
Zakhar is often well dressed, but does not live by his fashion. Often he is seen wearing a simple tracksuit, and is a fan of extreme sports, wearing sports gear occasionally. At first glance he looks very human, but at closer inspection, the six green dots in his pupils sometimes gives him away. When working, he uses loose clothing, sometimes a long black trench coat. During work, he always has on both arms a twin blade wrist blade attached into his body armour. The blades are curved, with three spikes along the top rim.Personality;;
Likes:
1. Blood
2. Getting a job done
3. Women
Dislikes:
1. Failing
2. Vain
3. Traitors
Flaws:
1. Lust for blood sometimes overtakes his mind
2. Loyal to the Firm
3. Set in his ways
Summary:
Zakhar has a fierce lust for blood, which he often lets take over his mind. Despite being a clean killer, by using swift methods, he is a messy eater, often wasting some of the blood by biting too hard. However, he is very aware of finishing the job, often going out his way sometimes to finish it. To top off his lusts, women fall into a very high rank. Zakhar loves them, and not for the food. Sometimes he can make it through an entire session of love without feeding!
Like mentioned before, Zakhar will put extra effort into winning. Failing is not an option to him, he hates going back with bad news. To him, it ruins his week and he likes to enjoy his life. Though good at his job, he is fairly modest about it. He absolutely despises, with a passion, people who gloat about what they can do and obsess over themselves. Often he will show them just how weak they are. And the weakest people in his eyes are traitors. If he cannot trust a man, he cannot work with him, so betray him once, and Zakhar will kill you where you stand.
If it were not for those who clean up after him, Zakhar’s lifestyle would certainly give away vampire’s existence. Some of the people he’s killed have been so butchered that they could easily be the victims of shape shifters. Despite the attention he brings, if the Firm needs something, he will do it without question. His way is his way and no one will ever change that, even if he is fighting on the wrong side.Background Check;;

History:
From the day he was born, Zakhar was born into a world of war. His family, The Firm, worked for the ruling leader of the time, Catherine II (The Great), who had declared war on the decaying Ottoman empire. Mandatory state service had been abolished, and Catherine delighted the nobles further by turning over most government functions in the provinces to them. For the first few decades of his undead life, Zakhar worked for the noble Vitaly, who ran the region of Vladimirskaya. Seeing the human life around him, he questioned what he was for most of his first half century. It was in his 40’s that he was introduced to the family ally, the Novosi family, a family of half-bloods who protected the family. They were effectively the bodyguards of the Gorchakov family who watched from the shadows, and cleaned up any mess they left. Alexei, a member of the Novosi family was assigned to personally look after Zakhar. Zakhar contested about needing a babysitter, and worse still, a half blood to look after him, a pure blood. His elders reminded him that without the Novosi family, their family could not exist, for their family trait was to be notoriously violent.
Life around Zakhar was equally as violent. There was barely a decade without a revolt of some sort, often against the rulers. The winters were harsh, but the extended darkness at nights allowed longer jobs to be done. People feared the winter, not for the cold, but for the death that came with it. Alexei was given the task of showing Zakhar the world around them, to train him into each climate. As they made their way across the western borders of Russia, they came face to face with the forces of Napoleon in 1812. By now Zakhar was used to the winter, but the French were not. For nearly 4 months, Alexei allowed Zakhar to hunt nightly amongst the French forces. He would swiftly move in, kill and feed. After two months, Alexei would give him certain targets, of no political importance, to kill. After the following month, he made Zakhar do it blindfolded, only allowed to find the target through reading the minds of the battered French. Believing the training to be done, Alexei moved them on, and they travelled across Europe. Alexei showed Zakhar that each country had certain traits, and would give information away in certain ways. Around them the west was changing, but so was Zakhar. He had a better understanding of the world around him, and he saw himself purely as player of a game.
In the early months of 1825, Zakhar was called back to Russia by his lord. Whilst Zakhar had been travelling Europe, so had some of the lords and generals during military campaigns against the French. They, along with Zakhar, had seen an alternative way of life and they wanted to involve it in their lifestyles. However, the new ruler, Nicholas I, turned away from the Westernization program begun by Peter the Great and championed the maxim "Autocracy, Orthodoxy, and Nationality." He believed that all Russians should be loyal to the tsar, protect the Russian Church, and have national pride. Two of these were not a problem to the Firm, but protecting the church was against their own way of life. The previous Tsar’s had called them Pagans, but they bore no gods, for they knew what followed after death. In December 1825, the rebels were defeated by Nicholas and the Firm had to disappear for a short time. For almost an entire decade, the Firm and it’s ally the Novosi, disappeared into Europe. It wasn’t until 1894, with the new ruler Nicholas II, that the Firm felt safe to return to their homeland. By now many of their former employers had passed away, so new business had to be found, but loyalty to the Tsar would never be reinstated.
Whilst the Firm was establishing itself yet again, the world around them was changing. Many countries were improving their technology rapidly, with industrial revolutions across the lands. For the first decade of the 20th century, the Firm was mainly used by people wanting to kill rivals, but in 1914, many of the firm, including Zakhar were called to the West, as the First World War broke out. Their skills would be needed, and many of the Firm’s main contractors were established then. Many of those contractors still use the Firm, and at a time in the world where so much suffering was occurring, the Firm’s suffering had ended. They were now a much needed resource, and their business has not declined since. However, two years later, Zakhar was called back to Russia. A former member of the Novosi, Grigori Rasputin, had left the family some 30 years before the war. He had wanted to live his life in peace, but during the war, had been actively against the Tsar Nicholas II. Zakhar was to kill him, but not before finding out all he knew.
The True story of Rasputin’s death is as followed -
“On December 16, 1916, having decided that Rasputin's influence over the Tsaritsa had made him a far-too-dangerous threat to the empire, a group of nobles, led by Prince Felix Yusupov and the Grand Duke Dmitri Pavlovich lured Rasputin to the Yusupovs' Moika Palace, where they served him cakes and red wine laced with a massive amount of cyanide. Rasputin was unaffected, although Vasily Maklakov had supplied enough poison to kill five men. Determined to finish the job, Yusupov became anxious about the possibility that Rasputin might live until the morning, which would leave the conspirators with no time to conceal his body. Yusupov ran upstairs to consult the others and then came back down to shoot Rasputin through the back with a revolver. Rasputin fell, and the company left the palace for a while. Yusupov, who had left without a coat, decided to return to grab one, and, while at the palace, he went to check up on the body. Suddenly, Rasputin opened his eyes and lunged at Prince Yusupov. When he grabbed Prince Yusupov he ominously whispered in Yusupovs ear "you bad boy" and attempted to strangle him. As he made his bid to kill Yusupov, however, the other conspirators arrived and fired at him. After being hit three times in the back, Rasputin fell once more. As they neared his body, the party found that, remarkably, he was still alive, struggling to get up. They clubbed him into submission and, after wrapping his body in a sheet, threw him into an icy river, and he finally met his end there.”
However, the story that the humans knew ended there, but the real story ended at the riverbanks. Arriving too late to kill Rasputin directly, Zakhar pulled Rasputin from the water, where he asked the questions his employers wanted answers to. Knowing he was to die, Rasputin answered them all, but finished the story himself. He told Zakhar that one of the Tsar’s children, Alexei, had been ill, and he’d given him some of his blood to make him better. Realising what he’d done, Rasputin had tried to get the Tsar’s family killed. Putting a silver sword through Rasputin’s chest, Zakhar pushed his body back into the river, where he’d be found three days later.
For nearly half a year, Zakhar followed Yusupov. Had Zakhar struck the Tsar and his family, the Firm would loose all contacts and their species uncovered. In July, Zakhar learned of the plot to kill the Tsar and his family. Ordered to make sure it was done, he observed the murder through the mind of Yakov Yurovsky, the lead murderer. The true story of the killings is as followed – “The firing squad killed Nicholas, the Tsarina, and two of the servants first. Alexei remained sitting in the chair, "terrified," before the assassins turned on him and shot. The boy remained alive and the killers tried to stab him multiple times with bayonets. "Nothing seemed to work," wrote Yurovsky later. "Though injured, he continued to live." Unbeknownst to the killing squad, the Tsarevich's torso was protected by a shirt wrapped in precious gems that he wore beneath his tunic. Finally Yurovsky shot the boy again and he fell silent. Rumours of Alexei's survival began to circulate when the bodies of his family and the royal servants were located. Alexei's was missing, along with that of one of his sisters (generally thought to be Maria or Anastasia).” Whilst the bodies were being moved, Zakhar moved rapidly into the room, grabbing Alexei. The killers did not report the body missing, for they thought they had killed him. Because the boy had taken so long to die, Zakhar feared that the child may turn into a half blood. Taking the body to the nearest forest, Zakhar prepared his sword. Whilst he did so, the boy turned. Alexei was merely 13, two weeks short of 14. Zakhar tied the boy down, and waited for his ally, Alexei Novosi. Zakhar told Alexei it was hard for him to kill someone with his name, for it felt like he was killing him. With final persuasion from Alexei Novosi, Zakhar put the boy on his knees and thrust the sword hard through the back of his neck. To this day, Alexei is the youngest person Zakhar has had to kill.
To the end of the war, and up till the end of the second world war, Zakhar served the firm in Russia, killing off rivals of whoever paid most. It was at the end of second world war when the first leaders of the Russian mafia, nicknamed the “Red Mafia”, emerged. To this day, the Firm’s main loyalty lies with the red mafia. However, the red mafia did not like Stalin, for he had betrayed a lot of their members. However, they wanted their country to be a super power as well as Stalin, so grudges aside, they asked the Firm to send some members to America. Zakhar was one of these men. Until 1991, Zakhar collected information about the Americans, using his powers, and defeating political enemies. With the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the big jobs became few and far. However, Zakhar was ordered to stay in America, his ally Alexei Novosi being sent over to help him. The new targets were criminal organisations. In 1995, Zakhar and Alexei were asked to take out an Italian called Georgio DeLuca. From Russia, another Novosi was sent, but his loyalty lay with the government, not their employers. Tomasz, a half breed like Alexei, was to pass whatever information they found out to his employers. Georgio got away, and Tomasz killed Alexei with a surprise attack. Furious, Zakhar tore apart the entire building, trying to find Tomasz. Finding him, he tore him limb from limb. The Firm ordered that Zakhar take a break for a few years, sending a whole team of Novosi to watch him. He was told he would never get to know these Novosi, for they feared what he would do should any of them die. Now, Zakhar is allowed to work again. And he plans to do it well.

Zakhar and Alexei sat in the car, looking at the office building. They were waiting for Tomasz to arrive, so he could record all that happens. “This guy is late, what’s so important about him anyway?” Zakhar asked. As he asked, Tomasz arrived and apologised for being late. Loading their guns and concealing their weapons, they got out the car and walked into the building. Using his telepath power, he told the two to get near guards. Acting casually, they stood near each guard. Listening to a guard’s thoughts, Zakhar located Georgio within the building. In a swift order, Zakhar ordered the go ahead, and all three guards slumped to ground. Wiping the blood from his wrist blade, Zakhar moved for the lift. All three got in and headed to the 14th floor.
Running out of the lift, they cut down anyone who approached them. Furiously using his telepathy to read the minds, he tried to locate Georgio. As he got to the room he was in, Zakhar’s heart suddenly hurt. Looking back, he saw Alexei on his knees, a silver sword through his chest. Watching Tomasz tear the blade up through Alexei’s body, Zakhar forgot about Georgio and headed straight for Tomasz. Flicking out his wrist blades, Zakhar charged at Tomasz, knocking him back out through a window. As they fell, Zakhar repeatedly stabbed the blades into Tomasz. Hitting the ground, Zakhar staggered up and grabbed Tomasz by the right arm and swung him into a nearby wall. Crying with anger, he jumped at Tomasz, slicing his blades through his shoulders. Pulling the arms from the sockets, he gave a harsh punch to Tomasz’s chest, impaling him with the blades. In a final move, Zakhar uppercutted the blades into Tomasz’s chin. Pulling his blades free, he fell back and gave several distraught yells, no real words being said. A van nearby pulled up, and he was pulled into it by several men. He would later learn that they were Novosi.
