Lurai is heavily Wiccan and since a young age has practiced the religion of her mother. She’s gotten especially good at holding ceremonies and rituals in order to honor the goddess. With her job also comes her insane ability to make drinks. She is very quick with her hands and can make a martini in a flat second. Along with her education in religion and bar drinks she is very much an academic scholar. Since she was very young she’s always been fascinated in gaining more information about the world. She loves to understand all different things, which is why she’s currently attending a university in order to further her education.
Weakness:
1. Someone who can play the game
2. Faith in people
3. Need to distance herself from people
Summary:
Lurai has always been susceptible to a guy who can play the game. He doesn’t have to be the most attractive guy or the most intelligent but if he can play the game, then she can’t help but fall for him, even if he’s completely and utterly crude and superficial. She has this inability to see bad in people. She tries with all her might to believe that people are good and their intentions are all good. Even though she wants to believe in the good in people she has always distanced herself from them. She can’t get herself to make friends with those around her, even though she believes they are good, she can’t trust people.Appearance;;

Her beauty lies in her odd but interesting appearance. She’s very fair skinned, almost like a porcelain doll. Her mother gave her tattoo to her when she turned eighteen years old and the large tree is symbolic of her connection with the earth goddess Gaea. Any day though, she’ll always choose comfortable attire over anything fancy. She’s truly the embodiment of tranquil.Personality;;

1. Reading/Books
2. Spending time in nature
3. Nighttime
Dislikes:
1. People who like to show off
2. Bad people
3. Ignorance
Flaws:
1. Temper
2. Smoker (in both senses)
3. Not the best mannered
Summary:
As said before, Lurai is a very educated individual. She thoroughly enjoys reading and the concept of books in general. If she can get her hands on one she’ll read it. Along with her love of books she loves being in nature. It makes her comfortable and at ease being away from the chaos that is the city. She’ll always take the countryside over a city. With that love of nature comes a love of the night. She finds peace in the stars and the darkness always able to communicate better with the earth and herself.
Where she loves nature and being alone, she normally dislikes people, especially ones that show off. She strongly dislikes people who feel the need to prove themselves and she definitely doesn’t want to be proven too. Normally the people who have to prove themselves have a strong ignorance as well, which totally turns her off. She hates people who don’t have validation to back up something, especially when they chastise those around them for thinking differently then them. She also dislikes bad people. Those whose goals in life are to destroy the ambiance of the world around them.
Finally her flaws, which are interesting considering her as a person. She has a quick temper, one that’s very strong and easy to provoke if you know how to poke her buttons. Next she’s a heavy smoker, both cigarettes and weed, each used to dim the stress of her highly active life. With her cigarette habit started the other bad habit of not having good manners. She’s known to hock loogies in front of crowds and to burp in public as well. Not something quite that lady like.Background Check;;

History:
Lurai has always been close to her family. Raised with love and care and the utmost devotion by both Alice and Christopher. She grew up in Edinburgh and ended up going to the local university, as she didn’t want to get to far away from her family. Her younger sister Katherine (a senior in high school at eighteen years of age) and her bother Jack (freshman in high school at fifteen years of age) always looked up to her and held her in there highest regards. She always got along with them and quite often ended up breaking up fights between the two of them. Needless to say, her mother taught her everything she ever knew about Wicca. Since a young age it always fascinated her and made her curious as to what her mother was doing.
With her mother’s gifts with the mother earth came a prejudice that she had to fight for many years. It became common and quite necessary that they never speak of their family’s religion outside the house. Her father was a born Christian and his whole family was die-hard in their religious beliefs, which definitely strained family gatherings. Soon they just stopped visiting their family and moved to Edinburgh, renouncing their Irish ways. This is where both Katherine and Jack were born, Lurai the only one to ever experience their life in Ireland. She was very young though and doesn’t remember much of it.
She found out about her cousin Lucy from her mother who always spoke highly of her. She asked her why she never visited them and her mother told her that Lucy grew up in a bad home. At one point they tried to take her from her brother in law, but he wouldn’t let her go to a “pagan devil.” So Lurai never got the chance to get to know her cousin. The only short memory of her being them playing in a sand box when she was three and Lucy just a baby. Either way Lurai grew up happily and very much loved.

[Example of your Role-Playing]
Lurai walked into the English office at the University of Edinburgh with her face deep within a book. It truly showed how much she belonged in the department she so loved. Walking unconsciously to her professor and advisor’s door she knocked softly as to not startle him too much. A soft “come in” echoed from the office mirroring her knock. She closed her book and placed her hand on the cool knob turning it to push the old creaky door open.
“Hello Profesor Alost” she said with a cheery voice and smile on her face. “Hello Lurai, what can I do for you?” he asked mirroring her happiness. Stan Alost always loved seeing his students and even more the ones he thought of as highly as Lurai. She was bright and brilliant and overall a very levelheaded girl. “I was coming to see if you’ve finished writing that letter of recommendation for me?” she asked kindly, placing her book in both her hands in front of her body, the pure image of innocence, something she certainly was not.
“Yes I have actually. I’ve been meaning to talk to you about that” he said rolling his chair over to a cabinet behind his desk. He pulled open the door swiftly with his strong hands, full of age and wisdom in his department. “Are you really sure you want to go for this internship? It’s not exactly completely English related. There are plenty of photography opportunities in London and just as good English programs that send you to France and Germany for weeks. You could learn so much from them” he spoke with a somewhat desperate tone. Lurai just smiled at him and shook her head.
“I thought we talked about this. Listen Professor, I regard your advice highly, but this is National Geographic we’re talking about. I’m an English major yes, but I’m also a photojournalism major as well. In the end I’ll make money for that, and as superficial as that is, I’ll need to make money in order to write” she said taking a seat that sat facing his desk. She stared into his eyes with her piercing grey eyes. “I know we’ve talked about it, it’s just New York is very far away, and you’ve never really been that far away, and well I’m just concerned for you is all. You’re like my daughter Lurai, but if that’s what is going to make you happy all I’m able to do is approve of your decisions” he finished letting out a slightly sad sigh.
“Thank you for respecting my wishes Professor. Honestly I’ll miss you too. You’ve been nothing but amazing to me, and it means so much to me that you think of me like a daughter. Truly. Trust me my father is having the same concerns as you. I’ll be okay. I swear. Don’t worry. All will be okay,” she said leaning over and patting his hand with her soft porcelain like skin. His rough callused hand felt much like her fathers and she was truly thankful for the friendship she’d gained in this man. He picked out the letter from the filing cabinet with a sigh and handed it to her. “Here take it before I change my mind” he said shoving it into her hand.
“Thank you Professor” she said after standing up and placing the letter in the pages of her book. “Really, thank you” her thick Scottish accent making the words sound far different from any Americans. She went towards the door opening the cool knob once more to hear the old door squeak. “Oh and Professor. Don’t worry. I might not even get this internship. It’s highly unlikely. I’m competing against way to many people. I’ll probably just be here next quarter just like every other quarter since I started here,” she spoke with a confidence and a warm heart, her sincerity radiating through her words. She closed the door behind her taking a deep breath before laughing slightly to herself. “How true those words are” she let out another abrasive laugh before opening her book to where she stopped and continuing the reading she’d began moments before.
