Specialties:
1. Charcoal Drawing and Animation
2. Hand-to-Hand Combat
3. Fluent in Spanish, German and Japanese
4. Solving complex problems involving technology
Summary:
Ever since he was a child, Elliot had a strong passion for wanting to be a well-known artist. His parents weren’t too keen on the idea and hoped that he would take an interest in opera but decided to choose his own career rather than having them do it. For years he practiced different forms of artwork but found Charcoal to be his strongest point. Day by day, he got better and took more time to add detail to his work. Believe it or not, he was able to make a decent living selling these at auctions.
When computers and tablets finally came about, he figured out how to do animations in both Photoshop and Flash. Using such things took time, but he began to devote time in figuring out how to use technology to his advantage.
Through trial and error, he eventually figured out how things worked, how to fix them and how to upgrade as well. That is probably one of the reasons why some of his colleagues go to him to fix things rather than to a store.
With being a cop, and a Prosecutor, comes the need to speak foreign languages. Spanish came first, seeing as how many crimes do involve illegal immigrants and drug deals, second came German and third, Japanese.
One more requirement involving him being a cop: hand-to-hand combat. This could range anywhere from CDT to fighting forms from Asia. One thing he learned was how to turn any inanimate object into a weapon if need be…
Weakness:
1. The vampiric weaknesses.
2. Anger
3. Sensitive to blood he drinks
Summary:
Of course, every vampire isn’t immune to everything there is. Sunlight will burn him to a crisp and a stake through the heart (or a bullet) will kill him. Holy water has no affect on the male and garlic only makes his nose crinkle in disgust.
Normally, this vampire isn’t angry but calm, cool and collective. He analyzes situations carefully before making a move on anything. However, when angered, he can do very irrational things, hence why he tries to avoid certain frustrating situations that could arise. When you’ve lived as long as he has, you can usually predict outcomes.
When it comes to drinking blood, he has to be very choosy with whom he drinks from. Finding victims in a bar is the last thing he desires due to the fact that most have strong alcohol content in their veins. Too much and he’ll get drunk.Appearance;;
Hair: Elliot’s hair is black and stops a few inches above his shoulders.
Eyes: His eyes are angled downward and narrowed ever-so slightly; orbs are a cool, green color.
Height: Around six feet.
Marks: None that are visible. There is a tattoo of a fiery dragon on his lower back but that’s about it.
Race: Irish and German mix.
Skin Tone: Somewhat pale.
Body Type: Somewhat athletic
Clothing Style: Not so picky but he prefers darker forms of attire to blend with the night.
Footwear: Anything that is comfortable and will grip the ground if climbing is needed.
Summary:
Elliot, in a sense, has that stereotypical appearance about him when it comes to modern day vampires. Jet black hair-neatly combed at times-stops only an inch or so above his shoulders; at the back he has a small ponytail, which he’s been meaning to cut off. Eyes are narrowed, angled downward ever-so slightly and the orbs themselves are a cool green. Height wise, he’s close to six feet and will often times use this to his advantage.
On his lower back hidden from view, there is a small tattoo of a fiery dragon.
Due to his European descent-like most of the general population- his skin has a somewhat pale tone to it. Working as a DA calls for him to be physically fit and thus, his body is like that of an athletic fellow.
Clothing? He’s not very picky about what he wears as long as the coloring is dark. Would it be wise for one active at night to wear bright colors? Same thing is applied for shoes, all that he wants is for them to be comfortable and have a good grip if climbing was needed on the job.Personality;;
Likes:
1. Charcoal Drawing
2. Technology
3. Classical Music
4. Animation
Dislikes:
1. Stuck-up mortals
2. Rap
3. Small dogs
4. Too much work
Flaws:
1. Anger
2. Lack of emotion in most situations
3. Bloodlust
Summary:
Elliot absolutely enjoys charcoal drawing whenever he gets the chance. Due to his new job as a District Attorney, he sometimes finds it hard to ever get away from that desk piled with paperwork! Fortunately, he’s around his second “love” and that would be technology. From computers to radios, he knows the ins and outs of each item! Classical music? Don’t get me started. If you play one classical song, he will know the name of it and the composer in less than a minute. And with technology and charcoal drawing comes animating programs of which he likes to play with during spare time as well.
With things he enjoys, in comes the things he despises. With the job he’s in, he’ll often times run into people who think they know everything. Alas, this has been known to awaken his anger and an angered vampires is NEVER a good vampire I can assure you. Rap to him is the opposite of classical music. Just a few seconds of that genre and he claims his mind is gradually turning into useless ooze. Small dogs…? If one so much as yips at him, he’ll punt that stupid thing over a fence! Dogs like that annoy him to no end! And like any other being, he doesn’t like the idea of too much work on his hands.
All beings on this planet have flaws and anger would be one of Elliot’s. Now don’t get me wrong, most of the time this fellow is cool, calm, collective and doesn’t show much emotion at all in situations. The lack of expression is another one of his flaws considering that got him into trouble on more than one occasion. Being a vampire means he WILL face bloodlust if he doesn’t get his daily fill. If he goes for a week without blood, he will get what his body needs at all costs…Background Check;;
Family Members: All dead say for his brother, James Sari Garen. At this point in time he doesn’t know where he’s at.
Birth Place: Berlin, Germany
Childhood: As explained earlier, he strived to become an artist ever since he could figure out how to use a pencil. Other than his purposes in life, he recalls his time spent with family, the harshness of being poor on a farmland and what it was like to pretty much be on your own at a young age.
Transformation: One night while he was out having a good time with friends at a pub, he was attacked by a vampire while in a drunken stupor. His friends managed to get away from the scene but he wasn’t so fortunate…
Prey: For a time, he denied what he was and chose to drink the blood of animals but found that he wasn’t getting the proper nutrition that he needed. So he drinks human blood now.
Fang Power: Well, they aren’t dripping with venom or anything to that extent but they are very deadly if used improperly or properly. Power of chopsticks? Oh no my friend…yes, there is venom in them.
Other Transformation: Believe it or not, even to this day, he has never transformed anyone into a vampire. Hard to believe isn’t it? I suppose one might say he finds that many mortals don’t deserve the “gift” of immortality.
History:
Elliot was born on February 8, 1710 on a farm to a poor family in the middle of Germany. Rather than that being his true hometown, they moved shortly after his birth to England where the Garen family strived to make a living. When he was old enough to start moving things, he started off with feeding the horses and pigs at sunrise.
This was pretty much how his life was for a time until he walked into town and spotted a shop full of art supplies. Rather than getting himself a new pair of socks, he bought a charcoal set and paper. Naturally, his parents were furious with what he had done but remained determined to give this a shot.
Years rolled by. Gradually his art took on a more realistic form. At the age of seventeen, he was able to auction off his works to help pay for the family’s bills and needs. Yes, life was good during that time until war started breaking out. If one was a soldier, they get paid a decent amount of money! Imagine how it will help his poor family! Off to war he went.
He returned many years later to find that the once poor family was now middle classed. Worrying about food and clothing was no longer an issue, much to his relief. To celebrate, he took his friends out to the pub to get a drink for the evening.
That was a fatal mistake, for that very evening, a group of hungry vampires attacked the pub. Fortunately, his friends made it out alive but he was “transformed” into one of them. At first, his family didn’t know what to think of this! A vampire in their household? Gradually, they grew to accept what he was and died numerous decades later, leaving Elliot still as youthful as ever.
Being a vampire wasn’t easy for the male. Slayers were prowling about, werewolves were eager to devour his flesh…self-defense was needed. Let me tell you, it saved him on more than one occasion throughout this life.
To avoid being caught, he fed on farm animals but came to realize that they didn’t have certain contents in their blood that his body needed. As slayers died down, he carefully chose his human prey but never drained them dry.
Skipping ahead now.
As technology came about, he figured it would be best to not remain in the dark. As more and more discoveries were made, he devoted time to studying each and every thing that was made. The last thing he wanted was to have trouble with said items if he were to buy them. And, eventually, the computer finally came into existence. Yet, even with all of this around him, he felt that some things were still missing…and so he decided to seek out a good paying job.
Nothing really appealed to the male so he did what many adults did: go to college and see what he could find out. What caught his eye? District Attorney. For a few years he did very well in his job but alas...employees were getting suspicious. Nowadays he assists in crime scenes and writes newspaper articles.
