Specialties:
1. Serving, being a slave.
2. Running/agility
3. Working with animals
4. Talking to horses
Summary:
All the years that Kali has been used as a servant, a slave, and a worker. she’s gotten quite good at it. She works without complaint, letting every nasty name, and every hard blow slide. Kali has learned to do what she is asked quickly, and right the first time. Her seemingly, ‘I don’t care’ attitude can get her in a spot of trouble, but the chores always get done.
Kali loves running. At night she races the thoroughbreds in the stable. Its all great fun for her because She wins about half of the time. She is a quick girl, and able to dodge just about anything anyone could possibly throw at her. Kali knows this because while running with the horses one night someone shot a crossbow at her. The whistling sound of the arrow flying through the air made her skid to a compete stop as it zoomed past her face.
Kali can hear Horses thoughts, and understand thier soft noises and body language. Shes a valued part of the stable, just because she takes perfect care of the horses. A snort might mean a sigh of depression, or a huff of impaitence. Each horse has a human voice within them, it might be in a different language, but somehow her mind is programmed to hear and understand it. She can find a horse anywhere on the earth if she knews what thier inner voice sounds like.
Weakness:
1. Love/kindness
2. Men or anyone bigger than her
3. Blood
Summary:
Kali is almost terrified by just the thought of love, someone caring or anybody showing her kindness. She doesn’t know how to react to such emotions and feelings because all her life she had been treated cruelly. Each master, each owner, they all treated her like dirt, kicking her around constantly. The thought of being loved, or in love isn’t comforting in the least to her either. No one ever cared for her, and to think that someone might get attached was strange. She never found herself attractive, and walked away from anyone who told her she was pretty or even cute.
Men, large men in particular, scare her to the point of possibly peeing her pants. Every male figure she has known was violent or mean to her. Sometimes even a taller woman could scare her when she has an off day.
Blood is another huge weakness for her as well. Since she doesn’t feed much, the sight of it drives her insane. She only drinks what is necessary to put it away fro awhile but Still, the sight, the smell, any of it sets her throat on fire with the demanding burn of thirst. Kali had never fully satisfied herself before so her body always craves for more.Appearance;;
Hair: shiny raven black.
Eyes: A strange violet color
Height: 5’6ish, not very tall
Marks: Her hands are extremely scarred and burned from working all her life. Kali’s whole body is quite ugly and scarred from the beatings she would receive but she has a cross over her heart as a tattoo that has been there as long as she can remember. Strangely, it doesnt burn her.
Race: White
Skin Tone: Marble pale, almost ghostly looking. The blue veins in her arms are clearly visible at all times.
Body Type: Slim and tone.
Clothing Style: Emo/Rocker type
Footwear: Converse, boots, riding boots and other things of the sort for around the stable.
Summary:
Kali is a very beautiful girl, but is scarred and broken by her long life. When out in public, even at night she would wear sunglasses to cover up her purple eyes to avoid a talk or confrontation with anyone. People always seemed to stop her when they saw her eyes. She blends in with humans more than vampires because of her style. Kali looks like the original emo kid with her short black hair parted to the side and over her left eye. The tight pants, band shirts, and converse seemed to be like a rock star or an emo kid. Her body is tone from all the work she does nonstop. This makes Kali physically strong in the human sense, but her vampire side never really shines through unless she needs to use it.
The pale skin she has is almost a dead give away to not seeing the sun in over two hundred years.Personality;;
Likes:
1. Animals, particularly horses
2. Rain
3. Music
Dislikes:
1. People whom abuse animals
2. Being pushed around
3. Arrogant people
Flaws:
1. Afraid of everything
2. Is much to sweet
3. Very weak.
Summary:
Kali love the horses she works with. Even though most animals would sense the sinister blood in her veins they are very fond of her as most animals are. It is probably a side affect from all the drugs. To the animals, she is a normal person, and this makes her happy. She feels accepted. The rain cheers her up because it intensifies the sweet smell of the horses' coats and the wildflowers in the field. When she sits out in it it feels like she is a new person, and is very relaxing, something she doesnt get to do often. Music, another thing she loves, sets her mind at ease. It keeps her alive really, prevents her from loosing her mind.
One things she absolutely wont stand for, no matter what the situation, Kali wont let someone hurt an animal. They just simply misunderstood the signal they were given. No matter how many times someones shoved her, ordered her around, she will never get used to it, she hates being pushed around. The last thing that she doesnt like is arrogant people. Kali has had people come into the stable, thinking that they are the most amazing thing on earth and picking the wrong horse. No matter how many times she would tell them that that horse was too much for them, they took it, and ususally came back hurt. if only they would listen.
Kali's flaws are really that of a childs. Shes more or less afraid od everything, expecially if it bigger and stronger than her. Its a wonder shes not terrified of the horses and hiding in a hole somewhere. Shes really jumpy, so when she turns around and someone is even 10 feet from her that wasnt there before she will squeak. The sound of a horse sneezing across the stable will make her jump. Kali is too sweet as well. Shes so sweet that she will do almost anything for anyone and sometimes flirts when she doesnt mean to. She likes to touch, a simple hand on the shoulder or something like that. kali just wants someone to be gentle and sweet to her. Then theres her weakness. Kali gets sick easily, her immune system still weak. She never taught herself to fight, thus she cant. Kali had never defended herself in her life. EVER. No one takes a liking to her, so she doesnt know anyone who would teach her.Background Check;;
Family Members: Kali has a mother, Vanessa. As far as she knows, her mother is still alive. Her father, Vincent, was an experimental doctor. He is still alive for sure, because he sends her packages with syringes filled with strange colored liquids and notes telling her to inject herself with them. Kali doesn’t know if they had another child, and if they have she pities the person who has fallen victim to her psycho family.
Birth Place: Kali is originally from Transylvania, as odd as it seems but had no accent what so ever. Only her jet black hair and pale skin proves her Romanian decent.
Childhood: She didn’t have a particularly bad childhood, her parents showered her in love and attention. They treated her like she were some sort of angel, something higher than themselves when she was only a young vampire. She does remember being in the hospital a lot though. The white walls and sterile smell was forever burned into her young mind.
Transformation: Kali was born a vampire, then tested on like an animal. When she showed no improvement or change they tossed her out. The chemicals are still in her system, though she has never found a change in herself.
Prey: She sometimes feeds from the willing horse friends in the stable. Only taking a little, the barest amounts so that the horses are unaffected. They don’t seem mind the slight pain, maybe because they trust Kali because she feeds and takes care of them.
Fang Power: Kali’s fangs hold a special venom that she is very aware of. When she bites, the venom can be injected at her disposal. The venom is capable of healing any wound or broken bone. It works on all creatures, but is extremely powerful on humans.
Other Transformation: She has never really thought of changing anyone, but if their life depended on it she surely would. Kali would be there throughout the painful change though, and certainly would watch over them. She is much to kind to let anyone just lay on the ground alone, screaming in pain.
History:
Kali was born into a wealthy family and treated like royalty. The large castle held many rooms and every day she seemed to discover a new one. The marble and wood floors were always shining, the paintings and decorations on the walls never holding a speck of dust. Once, when she found a stainless steel door into what she thought was the basement her father Vincent hollered at her at the top of his lungs. It was his lab that no one was allowed into. She hadn’t known the door lead there, but she found out that instant that it was a bad idea to go in there. People always went in, but she never saw them come out.
Her parents always paid good attention to her, gave her the things she wanted and such. Kali wanted very little though, always feeling sympathy for the working class. Her mother never approved of this behavior and always earned her a slap across the face. Vanessa, her mom, always tried to force Kali into glimmering jewels and expensive satin dresses when she would really rather be in a simple shirt and boys pants. Kali’s father though, let her run amok and have fun.
She spent a lot of her time down in the fields, riding horses and wandering though the garden. Kali was an adventurous girl, and very pretty early on. Her pale skin was flawless, her violet eyes shining in the moonlight. One memory of her childhood that stood out was when she found another little girl, human of course and they became the best of friends. The girl wasn’t afraid of Kali for being an vampire and came to play with her every night. This was the only true friend Kali ever had, and when her parents didn’t approve, it broke her heart. They took her friend away and into her fathers lab where she never saw her again. This was the point in her life where she let go, gave up and only at the age of nine.
Kali did what she was told, without complaint any longer. She wore the expensive dresses and priceless jewels, but she never smiled. Her mother of course was happy for this, only her father didn’t like it. He liked his spirit filled, happy child but she existed no more. Finally out of selfishness he took the girl back into his lab, determined to bring back the fire in her with mysterious drugs and potions if he couldn’t through encouragement. The testing began. At first it was to mend her broken spirit but then soon changed to the dark side when a war began. Her parents seemed to find a certain potential in her and wanted to make her stronger.
All the testing ever did was cripple her immune system and make her constantly sick. Even through this her father injected her with strange things, or gave her strange pills. Kali was constantly in the hospital, hooked up to oxygen, IV’s all over her. She began to develop a lot of scars at the bend in her elbow and wrists from all the poking. The terrible sterile smell burned her nose and the bland walls were so depressing. The beeping of the heart monitor became her lullaby. Kali still began to get older despite all of this, and at the age of 19, she finally stopped growing. This was also when her father found that she never changed, none of his strange drugs helped her. He finally became disappointed in her and tossed her away into the slave market.
Vincent drug her there, and despite her weak state, someone bought her. With her broken spirit masters found great use in her. She cleaned, she cooked, she sewed but was mostly used as a stable hand. Her first master was very harsh, lashing out at her for even having the smallest things out of place. If there was one piece of straw in the isle of his stable he went berserk. He starved her of her already small meal and beat her until she couldn’t walk. Yet, the next day, she was expected to get up and do her work. Then when he was tired of her she went back to the market and was passed on. Kali when through many more masters, all the same. Demanding ridiculous things, beating her until she couldn’t see and giving her more work to do.
She never fought back, she never said a word out of place and never really talked at all. Kali went about her chores with no friends, no companions but the animals she often cared for.
Now, she worked in another stable taking care of the most pristine horses in the world. Of course, the man she worked for was harsh, but not nearly as bad as some of her other masters. Kali worked, slept, and ate in the stable, often in the same stall as her favorite horse, Blake. It was a large black Arabian stud, the most fierce horse she’d ever seen. Kali was the only person that could soothe him, and even be near him. Blake stayed close to Kali like a dog and often followed her around the pastures and stable yard. She is very happy here, people come in and pay her attention since she knows so much about the horses. They ask her opinion on what horse to buy, borrow, or use. She feels useful, and enjoys the interaction. Even though she’s shy, Kali manages to mumble out what they ask for.
Code Word:'poof the magic fairy baby'Mad Skills;;
Kali sat with her back against the side of the dark stall that held Blake, the black horse towering over her in the darkness. Her deep violet eyes stared up at him as his big head leaned down to touch his soft muzzle to her cheek. "I'm okay Blake. I promise." She smiled and he gave a low approving nicker. her delicate hand reached out and rubbed the cannon of his foreleg. Kali rose from the hay, brushing herself off and the horse looked at her curiously, his ears flicking. He was still much bigger than her, and Blake made her feel oddly safe. He would try to save her or protect her if he needed to.
Kali then sighed, leaning on the locked door. Soft nickers and glints from large brown and blue eyes looked at her. Thier thoughts, thier language, all drifted through her head. She nodded, each horse falling silent. Her little body turned to pat Blake before going to grab buckets of water and bales of fresh hay. The morning would come soon and the horses need thier energy. It was a saturday, the busiest day of the week at the stable. The sun irritated her skin, making it terribly uncomfortable, but it was something she needed to deal with in order to keep her job and a place with Blake. Occasionally, she would forget the time and the sun would eventually burn her and she would have to go in the stable for a bit.
Kali occupied herself by filling the water bowls and putting hay in the stable for them to munch on. Blake's anxious clicking of hooves made her look up. "I'll take you on a ride soon, Im almost finnished here." Kali's soft, sweet and velvety voice floated, soothing the stallion. She finnished with the last horse and came by, flicking the lock open to his stall with ungodly speed. The wooden door opened slowly and Kali began to walk out the back exit there the sun wa sonly touching the horizon. Blake followed her closely, his hot breath on her arm and the rythmic sound of hooves on concete.
A pale hand reached out and opened the gate to the pasture and a devilish grin spread over Kali's soft lips. The dangerous teeth were visable but didnt scare Blake in the least. The two coiled, and shot off, running as fast as they could across the dew dampened grass. Kali had to slow herself conciderably so that she could give Blake a chance. The warm wind caressed her face, blowing her onyx hair about with the same for Blake. His long mane whipped about as his body moved smoothly. he was a beautiful creature, but no one could see it because of his ferice strength.
The fence on the other side of the field was coming up fast and Kali began to slow, Blake would win today. He deserved it for his good behavior all week. The two skidded to a stop, of course it wasnt as easy for Blake to stop his huge body all that well. His chest bumped into it and his thoughts became embarassed. Kali giggled and rubbed his sweating neck. "Good race. You're getting better!" She smiled proudly, maybe he would get his chance as a racer. Then she shot off. "RACE YOU BACK!" she laughed happily and the horse gave an irritated snort, claiming she wasnt playing fair. Kali was so happy at this moment, more than she could ever be.
