Alias: Teri, Rose
Name: Teresa Rosaline Harrington
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight.
Age: 21
Species: Human
Job: Between jobs technically. Working in a sinister club as a Rope Dancer (more like gymnastics).
Religious Affiliation: Romany. It’s more a ‘culture’ but I’m not particularly religious.Dear Diary
Specialities:
1. Playing mind games
2. Calming people/reasoning
3. Blending in
Summary:
Teri can definitely talk her way in or out of almost any situation. Her quick thinking and charming talking is how she’s now away from the UK in one piece.
Given her aptitude for empathising with people, she can be a very calming influence and talk almost anyone down from a flying rage. It’s really the only reason she’s still alive today.
Since leaving the UK Teri has used her natural knack for acting to mould herself to what is needed, she can easily switch from being the hard assed bitch to the loveable little English rose. Nobody so far really knows the real her.
Weaknesses:
1. Scared of the unknown
2. Easily charmed
3. Can be too trusting sometimes
Summary:
Since a very young age, Teri has always been scared of the unknown and the uncertain. She’s the sort of girl to be constantly paranoid that every shadow contains a threat. Silence, darkness and lack of space are enough to induce a panic attack which is a major drawback since she frequently needs to use the subway.
Teri either doesn’t trust someone at all or trusts them completely, which can sometimes cause problems for her if she trusts the wrong people like she’s done in the past.
When she rarely lets her guard down, she really lets it down and is easily charmed by those near her. It’s how she nearly ended up as a god damn meal back home, because she actually believed that the very people that plucked her from the streets, would never hurt her.
Appearance
Looks: Twenty-one
Hair: Brunette
Eyes: Blue, though not bright blue.
Height: 5ft6”
Marks: Her inner wrists seem permanently bruised from all the transfusions
Race: Cauccasian
Skin Tone: Not deathly pale, yet not ‘orange’ tanned. Healthy.
Body Type: Toned, slender with a very slight hour glass figure
Clothing Style: Consistent
Footwear: Heeled black boots
Summary:
Teri thankfully looks her age, which means she’s rarely asked for ID or looks old before her time. Given her heritage her eyes are a warm, almost inviting brown which lends itself to gaining the trust of others and appearing un-threatening if needed. Thankfully, Teri is happy with her height, feeling it’s just tall enough to be slightly taller than most of the girls at work but not so tall that she is mistaken for a drag queen. Her skin is certainly paler than is normal in her family but is yet so warm it means she’d find it very hard to lie and say she wasn’t human.
Teri’s style is basically the same outfit (floor-length red satin coat, fitted sleeveless white shirt, black high heeled boots with black jeans tucked in.) though in warmer weather she occasionally changes to a jacket version of her usual coat and a white tank instead of a shirt.Personality
Likes:
1. Music
2. Sitting on the roof at night
3. Midnight blue (is there a better color? I don’t think so)
Dislikes:
1. Uncertainty
2. Cruelty
3. Being lied to
Flaws:
1. Can be too trusting of the wrong people
2. Very guarded
3. Can come across as very cold
Blessings:
1. Graceful, good at her job
2. Loyal
3. Intelligent
Summary:
Teri doesn’t like to be in a big sociable crowd, she prefers to be an island hiding within a crowd since she very rarely lets anyone into her ‘bubble’ of trust and security. Sometimes the people she lets into her ‘bubble’ are the wrong people who tend to let her down. Teri can often see this coming but is too loyal to those that she trusts that she ignores the signs and only really faces them once it is too late.
She’s intelligent as her ‘kind’ owners supplied her with the best education available in exchange for a pint of her ‘donated’ blood a week. She can be guarded, almost as though she has locked away all traces of her humanity, but this is only a defence mechanism.
Thanks to a grace and sense of rhythm that seems to have been inherited from her Romany parents, she has a skill that can be applied to a multitude of uses to help her through life. Wethere it is dropping from the ceiling, wrapped in a ribbon to stop mere inches from the floor or just walking over fragile ground, it’s a skill she values greatly. Background Check
Family Members: Patrick and Marie O'Brein. Devote Catholics. Current whereabouts unknown.
School Attended: The Metropolitan University Of Dance
Graduaion Year: 2008
History: Teri was born July 12th 1989 in Stockport, Manchester. When she was only 5 years old her parents left her, she waited for 3 months in that flat in Greater Manchester until she finally gave up and began to roam the streets to search for them to no avail. At the age of seven, after the years on the streets had made her cold and uncaring, a young couple found her on a cold winter’s night. Teri had been sleeping under the rose bush in their garden to escape the bitter snow. They practically adopted her and made sure she was well educated, in return she tended to their garden and acted as a maid to them and their rare guests.
As she grew up, it was obvious that she was incredibly different to the nocturnal couple that cared for her. With their midnight walks and pearly skin, they contrasted so sharply with the warm child in their home. Everything about the young girl’s appearance swayed more towards warmth than the coldness of the couple. Her hair, her skin tone, even her eyes betrayed her inner turmoil. Her cold hearted composure seemed so out of place when looking into those eyes, those windows to a beaten and tortured soul. Having never truly known the love of a mother, young Teri trusted her ‘mother’ figure completely, so completely she entrusted her life to her each time they had guests. One wrong move in which ‘mother’ wouldn’t help, and Teri would have been dead. Drained of the very life force that made her human.
Taking sharp notice of her grace and ease of movement, they enrolled her in a dance academy where she also learned to play the harp but her lessons were discontinued when she moved onto the Metropolitan University. She gained an honours degree when she graduated.
However, there was a shadow hanging over her studies. Her ‘parents’ had planned to sell her onto an American once she graduated, but Teri was having none of it. As soon as she had the document in her hand, she fled to the US herself. Feeling that if she must move from her home country then she would do it on her own terms, now she’s just focusing on making ends meet.

“No, please, no.” the frail young girl crouched on the floor, holding the limp body of her elder brother in her arms as his life force slowly bled from him “Please, let me heal him or take me in his place…Just please don’t let his life end now. Not now. Not like this.” the tears slid from her eyes, dropping from her cheeks onto the shoulder of Si’s jacket as she pressed her fingertips to the wounds on his chest, willing them to heal as she had done so many times before.
So many that did not deserve to live, but yet she was ordered by the powers that be to heal, and yet they would not let her heal her own brother who had fallen trying to protect her. He hadn’t realised that mortal weapons could no longer harm her, that it was impossible for her to die again.
Now, as she cursed the heavens, she felt the last piece of life drift from his body to become one of them. “Soon brother, we’ll see each other again soon.” she whispered as a small smile tugged at her lips, her voice breaking from the effort of stemming her tears.
