Does anyone go to the gym? Does anyone have a personal trainer? I've been going to the gym for like 6/7 months and today I had my first session (free) with a trainer. My God I felt like I was going to die. Ha ha I didn't Minyo. She was showing me prices at the end and dammmmmmm it is sooo expensive. The cheapest is like 90 for 2 sessions. I think it'll be worth it though if I can somehow manage to afford it. What are your experiences?

I went to a gym for about four of five months as I waited for school to get back in session. Although I myself never had a trainer one of the girls I went with did. It was funny as all get out to see her afterwords too. She was about dead almost every single time. I'm not sure how it all worked out for her, as I stopped going about a month after she started with the trainer. But we did take everything her trainer said and taught her and used the information ourselfs. (There was three of us.)
I think with your free session and maybe two more you might learn a whole lot more than you did at first. You might even be able to get by with out the trainer after that, at least for a while if anything. So you would be $90 down but if you keep doing everything you do with the trainer when you stop taking the sessions you should see the same results. At least until you hit a wall or something happens.

lol. I learned that to lose weight you need to make muscle. I don't know where the trainers are now. The gym got sold to someone else and they changed the names and colors and the blond gym trainers are gone. Drat. I guess this is a sign to go to the gym today? Didn't feel like it.

lol, yeah. And muscle weights more than fat does. Irritating fact. So often times when you step on a scale you might not have lost a lot of weight. But if you measure yourself you might be suprised how many inchs you lose over time. Added little tidbit. ^^ And I'm sure you could have skipped today. It's not healthy to put your muscles through that every day. They get used to it and stop working as hard. *shrug*

lol. Actually I knew that from when I had the consultation with the trainer. I hate the scale so much. Some days it looks like I lost 10 pounds and other days not but I've shrunk a lot.
I do weights every other day and on the days I don't do weights I do cardio. And every day I drink muscle milk.

When you lift weights you do different things right? Like one day work on your upper body and the next time you work on your lower body kind of thing right?
How is that muscle milk? I've seen it but it was kind of expensive so I've never tried it.

lol, if you do get a trainer you might want to ask about that. We were told doing the same things over and over actually don't help you after a time. Your body adjusts to what your making it due and it actually doesn't help your muscles at all. Could just be what was told to use though.
I can imagine so. *shudders* I've seen the little milk containers already mixed up and what not but I just can't do it. It doesn't seem like it would taste good.

lol. Doubt my body is used to the weights. I keep changing the # and I have to take a break after ever 5 I do because it feels like I'd have to puke.
You do what you have to do. I got some new flavor of vanilla and it doesn't taste that bad. It says, 'new and improved taste'. LOL.

O.O Don't be pushing yourself too far you know. That's not very healthy. But I guess to each their own right? You'll know what you can do more than anyone else.
Yeah, improved, intresting choice of words I guess. I would probably try strawberry if I did any of them.

lol. Yesterday it felt like something in my left arm would snap so I stopped the weights after 200. I was only on 30 lbs which I've done before.
Their old vanilla whey tasted like garbage! As does the chocolate and strawberry whey which are sitting under the counter. Can't wait till they 'improve' the other whey flavors.
I liked the soy powder but it only comes in the smaller size so I was having to buy one each week and turns out it has 17grams of sugar so no wonder why it tastes so good.
