out of control You know what the Kiss of Death is like, you say? Well, then I guess you know that a Vampires Kiss is the same thing. Natallia smiled, looking into the mirror of the bathroom. She was wearing a rather marvelous outfit. Beautiful really. Then again, why wouldn't it be beautiful? It was on Natallia Anzhela Romanov, anything would look good on her. She wore a long black dress that was form-fitting, clinging to her body perfectly. A blood red masquerade mask covered her eyes and a red lace choker wrapped around her neck. She had her fangs out for all to see. It made her smile, it wasn't everyday that she could have them out without suspicion.
"Stupid human's," she chuckled. "They give us a day that is perfect for hunting. And in the name of what?" The vampire ran a hand though her hair, still smiling sadistically, before exiting her room and heading into the Great Ball.
She smiled on the outside as she passed a group of humans, though on the inside she was full of disgust. She despised them, those filthy bags of meat. The only things they were good for was to own as property and to feed off of. Other than that, they were useless.
Still, Nat made her way through the room and looked for some brave soul that would come up to her. Some brave soul that would dance with her and, ultimately, become her next meal.

Skye ran her hand through her hair, her throat throbbed as she swallowed. She'd never done anything this public in a long time. Actually, she'd never done anything this public. But she felt the need to do something besides just hand around all the time. She came to Russia only because she felt the need to get away from New York for once. She wanted to leave the country, and the first direct flight available had been to Moscow. So, what the heck?
She looked down at her dress, which wasn't all the special. It was silver and elegant, just the way she liked it. But it was nothing fancy, even if it did fit her figure perfectly. It only had one sleeve, and that one sleeve stopped about halfway down her forearm. She'd gotten this dress at the last minute, and it had been the last one they had at the store that fit her. Her mask was also silver, and covered up only half of her face. The half that it covered was opposite the one sleeve.
She wobbled over to the side of the room and watched everyone dancing. She'd never really worn high heels before, but they were the only silver ones she could find. She knew they looked good on her, but she also knew her feet would be terribly sore tomorrow. She muttered to herself, pulling her hair out of her eyes slightly and readjusting her half-mask, "Why did I even come to this place? It's so not my style..."

Alyosha normally liked to be to himself on a day like this, well everyday he felt like that, but he could not pass up something as grand as this. For all the years he was alive, he could not help but to show up for a party. Not only was there free food there but it was the perfect place to gather some information. Everyone would be relaxed and having a good time that things would slip out.
Sure he looked very out of place being a teenager in a party but he always said that he was here with his parents or people just assumed he was some wealthy person’s kid. He wore a black suit with a blue tie and white gloves, even if the gloves were just the cover up the Vampire Kiss on his hand. He wore a mast that was split down the middle. One side was black and the other side was red with black lines all over it in a decorative matter. He still wore his earrings but wore diamond studs for the party, but he didn’t have his jelly bands on, which he loved so.
Music was being played but Alyosha felt like the people deserved better. He had brought his violin with him like he always did and pulled it out. He was able to get the musicians to stop playing for a moment so he could play. “Sakura.” Alyosha said for the name of the song, got into position and began to play the soft but fast melody on his violin. When he was done he took a quick bow and then quickly packed up his violin and was off. He sencend humans, a vampire, and a were so far. The vampire seemed familar so Alyosha went to check out the were. He was not vvery fond of the were kind but information was information.
"Hello, and good evening." Alyosha said to Skye in a childlike voice, which was his normal voice but he said it with a more kid feel to it. In this case, he had to not act his age.

out of control You know what the Kiss of Death is like, you say? Well, then I guess you know that a Vampires Kiss is the same thing. Natallia sighed. So far, not a single person had come up to her. Oh well, she had plenty of time to actually get a couple of men or women to give her the attention she deserved. But… she only sensed a few that interested her. A Were was in their midst somewhere. And, a Vampire? The vampire in the area seemed familiar. She didn’t pursue it at first but then.
”Sakura.”
That voice… she knew it all too well. ”Alyosha? Of course, he would come.” The leader smiled and danced gracefully to the boy’s music. She so enjoyed it, he was very skilled in what he did. Then again, he had a few centuries to learn. The boy had always been a valued member of Vampire’s Kiss, with his ability to easily infiltrate almost anyplace she wanted him to and always gave her the information she wanted.
When he was finished playing, Anzhela danced her way through crowds, trying to find her ‘pet’. Well, he wasn’t her pet, but he was young enough to be one. It didn’t take long to find him… but he was talking to someone? ’Who is this?’ she asked herself in her head. The scent of Were lay heavily on the girl he talked to. A sly smile crossed her lips. She had to see what he was doing so she danced to herself nearby, keeping a close eye on the pair, though mainly on the boy.

Skye stayed down, trying not to be noticed. As soon as the violinist stopped playing, she'd planned on leaving, and most likely returning the dress and shoes and mask before the night's end. But before she could, the violinist vampire made his way over to her. Why a vampire would go to a were out of all the people here, she had no idea. But, she couldn't be rude, not unless he gave her reason to be.
"Hello," she smiled at him, even though she knew he must've been older than he appeared. After all, Skye was a lot older than she appeared, and how she acted. And most creatures she came across underestimated her because of her kindness, but she didn't really mind being underestimated. She didn't really know what else to say the vampire, so she just said the first thing that came to mind, not realizing how ridicules it sounded until it was too late. "You're very good at the violin."
What else was she supposed to say? She'd never been approached by a vampire before, and especially not during a ball. But she felt a pair of eyes on her. She glanced into the crowd of dancers once or twice, and both time a girl, also a vampire, was looking in their direction. Skye only hoped that she was watching this other vampire, and not her. The last thing she needed was to be targeted, and she wasn't really all that interested in having a buddy that was a vampire. She had nothing against other species, not even demons and vampires, but with her high heels digging into her feet, more things irritated her than usual. The only time she'd ever worn this type of shoes was... never. And she hoped to never wear them again.

Alyosha could feel that this was something out of the normal for the were, to others it just looked like a kid was talking to a young lady at the ball. Others knew that is was a vampire talking to a were, which normally never really dealt with them. Alyosha was pleased that she was kind to him in return for him being kind to her. He really didn’t know where to go with the conversation; you can’t really just come out and ask people for information. Plus, he was not sure if she knew anything about the restricted area that he had to do some information collecting on. She commented on his skills with the violin and it made him smile. “Thank you, I have practiced for a long time.” Alyosha said as he glanced at the leader of Vampire Kiss who had also attended the ball. She was even older than him and Alyosha knew she would not miss something like this.
Alyosha noticed that she was not in the best of moods, but he did not know why. “Would you care to join me out on the balcony, the air is wonderful tonight, and you can take off your shoes outside without anyone caring.” Alyosha said hoping she would join him outside for some fresh air. He did not like to see anyone down at a party, no matter what species they were. If she did not join him that would be fine, he just didn’t want her to leave a wonderful party in a bad mood. She had to at least leave with a good feeling, even if it came from a vampire.
“You can join us too.” Alyosha said directed towards the Vampire Kiss leader who kept dancing to the music and watched the too carefully. Alyosha waited for a reply as he held out his hand to be a gentleman and take her there. She could take it or not, it would not affect him in a bad way. O.k. possibly he would be mad that he was being a super nice gentleman and she totally turned him down, but he would understand.
