Night Time Walk (Seras)

The moment Era began to stir in her sleep, Hiro opened his eyes and put a smile on his face. He ran a hand across her cheek softly. It felt colder than usual and still was a bit flushed. "Shhh, its alright... I know you hate needles Miss Era, but please.... you need this..." he kissed her cheek and made sure the covers were keeping her warm. Despite everything that had happened, he looked as happy as the situation would allow and didn't mention it one bit, though he wanted to apologize tenfold.

The entire time Era had been asleep, Hiro had kept his eye on her, only leaving her side for a few very brief moments. And since he had had the Iv in of course he remained by her side. Hiro had wiped away the occasional tear that came from her precious eyes, and it saddened him to see how dull they'd become when she slowly opened them. "Just try not to move too much at all, alright Era? You'll be right and dandy again soon. I promise. But for now you need rest."

Era shook her head slightly at Hiro "No...I don't...need it" she said softly, moving her free arm she reached for the needle going to pull it out of her arm; looking at Hiro she only just noticed her neck was bandaged and the bandage on her breast.

Going against him telling her to stay still she sat up slowly keeping to covers to her, she pulled the IV needle out of her arm and pressed a finger to the now bleeding wound "I'm ok" she said with a smile; moving slightly she kissed his lips gently the faint taste of blood was still there but she didn't say anything as she leaned her forehead against his shoulder. The shoulder she had ripped to shreads "I'm sorry for what I did to you" she whispered as she kept her forehead on his shoulder, it seemed to have taken her effort to sit up and stay sitting up.

With a little sigh, Hiro took the IV out of his arm as well and when Era came to rest against him, he could feel himself shaking out of fear and nervousness. "Alright, you win. No more needles." He layed her back down gently, kissing her cheek. "But absolutely not on you being out of bed." A little laugh to ease the situation, Hiro's voice was happier than it ought to have been and he was just trying not to make her feel horrible. "Era, you did nothing wrong. You didn't do this to me. She did. You asked me to stop her." But before the girl could protest he pressed his lips against hers so very lightly, the utmost respect and passion evident. "Shhh, I promise, its alright. We're alright." Of course he meant their relationship, but for the time being both of them were also physically better. Era may have objected but she had gotten quite a bit of blood from her lover through the IV before she had woken up so she was to be quite fine. It made Hiro smile.

Hiro kept his seat on the edge of the bed, not daring to lay with her. For both their safety, and because he felt horrible for what had happened. Had he just said no to the girl, none of this would have happened. Truly she obviously felt bad too but the selfless vampire always fronted the blame. Hiro rubbed his eyes with his hand a bit, his vision still blurry and his head feeling a bit heavy.

Era let Hiro lay her back down even though a look flashed across her face showing she wanted to argure against laying back down, but didn't with a soft sigh. "Yes...she did this too you, but she is me....even if I did as you to stop us....I wouldn't have been able to stop myself" Era said softly.

Giving a small laugh it made her hurt but she didn't let it show as she forced herself to sit upright again and leaned against Hiro "I don't want to lay down" she whispered as she pressed her forehead against his neck gently, "Can you take the bandage off my neck?" Era asked softly sounding almost out of breath; she wanted to sit up and stay awake rather then lay down go back to sleep and let her body rest. Raising her legs with effort she used her knees to hold the covers to her chest as she placed her arms carefully around Hiro holding onto him gently, every now and then she had to move her hands to stop her arms from just falling away from him.

Helping her sit up again, and holding onto her carefully, Hiro nodded with a little sigh and slowly undid the bandage from around her neck. He knew she would have healed by now but just to be safe he had left it on for a while. Hiro slowly pulled the covers down from covering her body and took a look at her other bandages, removing them ever so carefully. Thankfully for them, there were hardly any scars. In fact, in a short while there probably wouldn't be any. But the two faint little marks on her left breast were clear as the moon on a night sky to the vampire. He knew they were there. Giving her boo-boo a little kiss, Hiro just held onto her, seeing as she was having trouble staying sitting up by herself. But he didn't set her back down to lay and sleep.

"There just isn't any winning against you, is there Era?" He laughed a little jokingly, knowing that he couldn't get her to rest laying down anymore. But for the time being, he was perfectly okay with her just sitting in his lap and leaning against him. Hiro's vision was starting to return to him and not be blurry anymore, but the sunlight coming in through the windows didn't help his skin ever feel better. But it would keep Era that much more warmer and despite being a vampire Hiro always felt it looked beautiful. "I'm just glad you'll be alright...." Hiro told her in the strongest voice he could muster, tho his words still were weak and his breath shorter than usual. "And Miss Era... someone else turned you. It wasn't your fault... none of this is..." Hiro just wanted to reassure her, and make certain she could believe that the monster within her wasn't who she really was. He didn't want her to blame herself. If ever she couldn't control it, he was there for her always.

Era was content with sitting in his lap comfortably, as he took the bandage from around her neck she moved her head slightly noting there was next to no pain. When he took the covers from over her she closed her eyes for a moment as he took the bandage off of her breast and kissed the wound, with a small smile Era open her eyes and shook her head at Hiro "No...there's no winning against me" she said with a giggle as she relaxed against him.

Letting her eyes close again as she listened to Hiro talk "It's what...I am now" she whispered before giving a soft yawn without saying anything else Era fell asleep in Hiro's arms her arms dropping from him as she got comfortable in her sleep, Era slipped in and out of sleep but wasn't alert to make any form of conversation with Hiro.

Having Era in his lap just relaxing was very comfortable to Hiro. He let her rest and listened to her last whisper as the girl drifted off into a slumber. With a cute smile, he kissed her forehead and ran a hand through her hair. "I know you can't even hear me.... but just know, I'm hear for you Miss Era. You may have been turned against your will... you shan't have to deal with it alone. I'll take care of you... and her."

Hiro shifted a bit on the bed and laid down, letting Era down easily on top of him and keeping her comfortable. He pulled the covers over her slim body and sat up a lil, keeping Era in a loving embrace. Watching over as she slept, Hiro brushed a soft touch across her cheek and couldn't help but keep wearing a smile. Though she probably wouldn't admit it, Era was the most adorable little girl when she slept. It was like watching an angel sleep.

Hiro sung to his delicate Era in a quiet, soothing and beautiful voice. Though she probably couldn't hear him, it made him feel happy to comfort her.

Era smiled softly in her sleep as she heared Hiro singing again, she felt like she was laying down again but on Hiro; it was a very comforting thought. Going back to sleep for a moment before her eyes fluttered open as she gave a small cute yawn almost like a child would if they were waking up from a long sleep looking up at Hiro with a smile she moved and kissed his lips gently.

"I still like your singing" she said softly with a light laugh; Era didn't care that it hurt to laugh or move but she did care about the pain she caused Hiro "How's your shoulder?" she asked softly.

Seeing little Era wake up, he kissed her back softly and pulled the covers up a bit. "My shoulder's just fine, Miss Era." He smiled. Sure his shoulder was a little stiff, but the bleeding had since stopped and the scars would be mostly gone soon enough. "You still shan't move to much. "

Hiro knew Era wouldn't listen to him, but if he held onto her at least she would only shift positions a little to get more comfortable. "I'm glad you enjoy my singing.... I don't think I'm quite well at it at all." He shrugged a little, glancing across the room at a clock. It was half past four in the afternoon. "Miss Era, why don't we shop and such tomorrow hm?" Holding her close he kissed her. "I want to stay here with you today."

Era smiled as Hiro held onto her trying to limit her movement, it was more then likely a good idea to keep her from trying to get out of the bed and trying to walk around. When he pulled the covers up a bit more Era moved slightly pressing against Hiro more comfortably, looking at the clock she looked at Hiro again smiling.

Moving against his will she pressed her lips to his again "Hmm I think that is a wise idea...seeing as I doubt you would let me out of the bed and I don't want to get up" she giggled; she made a mental note to herself to try and meet up with someone from one of her old packs who knew a lot about having children and would know if Era was carrying a child and would help her out a bit.

Peeking into her thoughts for a little bit, Hiro heard Era thinking about maybe if she was carrying a child. It made him smile to think she thought of such things, but kind of sad because he didn't want to think of putting her through that. "I don't even think I want to get up either." Hiro giggled to himself cutely. "Unless there's just something dire we need to do, Im not moving for quite a while." He averted his eyes for a moment, unsure if he should bring up the topic. Hiro was worried if she planned on speaking with people from an older pack. The last time other werewolves found her, he slaughtered every last one with no mercy. "Well... if there's something you need to do, I'll go.... but if your hungry we can just order room service again." Hiro ran his fingers through her hair. "Gosh, I wish my hair was long and smooth again. Yours is heaps soft." In truth, his hair was also near perfect everyday, but the vampire wouldn't believe it.

Era thought for a moment "Hmm food sounds very good right now....but then I might need to make a phone call" she said with a soft laugh, not making any motion to move off of Hiro she stayed pressed against him. It felt a little strange acting as if nothing had happened a few hours earlier "I love you" she said smiling.

As Hiro talked about her hair she gave a laugh and shook her head as she reached up ignoring the pain running through her arm as she touched his hair with a smile "You have soft hair...and besides....I like it the way it is" she said with a laugh and kissed him again.

"Well if you need to give someone a buzz, here." Hiro reached over to the nightstand and got his phone. "You can use my celli if you like. Or there's the house phone in the kitchen." He slowly sat up, making sure to hold onto his Era very gently to let her rest in his lap still. Her petite little body leaning against his felt so warm and he enjoyed it very much. "If its a problem dear, I'll be in the other room then, yes? What are you in the mood to eat Miss Era?" Still Hiro was feeling bad for what had happened, and though pretending it was close to nothing and that it didn't happen between them only a few hours ago may or may not have been the best method, but for now it was working.

Hiro wouldn't want to intrude on her privacy anymore than he already had if she needed to make a phone call. Her thoughts told him it was about their potential baby, so naturally he was interested, but the vampire hated to read her thoughts. He wasn't even trying but it just sort of always happened.

Era smiled "Thankyou" she said and gently nuzzeled Hiro's neck as he sat them both up; staying cradeled in his lap she gave another soft yawn as he spoke. Shaking her head a little she thought for a moment before she broke into a grin "Pancakes?" she asked with a child like laugh her eyes had finnaly gone back to their normal black colour "And coffee" she added happily.

Era doubted Hiro would let her out of the bed to use the kitchen phone and she also doubted she would be able to stay upright on the phone "I think it'll be safer for me to stay in here" she laughed and gave a very small frown "I don't mind if you stay in here" she said smiling and nuzzled his neck again gently. Just moving as little as she was, was tiring her out and she hated the feeling.

"Of course, Miss Era. You're welcome." The vampire had an odd grin across his face. "Hotkakes, again?" Not able to hold it in anymore, Hiro laughed a bit but tried to keep it soft and more to himself. "I'm heaps sorry, its just... you just... seemed so happy about it." Kissing her on the cheek, Hiro layed them both back down so he was sitting up against the headrest and Era's little body was resting comfortably against him still. After calling for room service and of course being quite polite as always, he dialed a number and held the phone up to Era's ear. She may have wondered by now and figured he had been reading her mind. "Im sry, a little birdie told me the number?" He suggested jokingly with a beautiful smile. Even for someone who hadn't slept, and had been mauled by a vicious girl earlier, he was still as pleasant to look upon as always.
