Hiro could tell it hurt for Era to move, but no matter the pain, it was far less than the one she saw in her eyes every time the girl looked at his neck. Even though he expected her to have nightmares for quite some time about what had happened that night, it still hurt Hiro more than anything to see the first of what would probably be many. He gasped when she jerked awake so suddenly and had pain in her voice. It hurt to hear. Despite how hopelessly tired and in pain he was, Hiro never once fell asleep. Since he first layed her down he was watching over her, desperately hoping things would somehow, someday be alright.
"Shhh shh... shh.... It's alright Era.. Shh... I'm here... it was just a nightmare. Everything is fine."

Era was startled by Hiro's arm wrapping around her, even though he whispered to her she continued to cry. Moving in his embrace she faced him, pressing against him she cried a little harder she knew he was there but that didn't mean the nightmare didn't hurt. After a moment her crying calmed down leaving her trying to draw air into her lungs giving a very small hic up every now and then.

She hadn't really expected it, looking up at Hiro her eyes were red again from crying and she kissed his lips gently her left hand raising carefully to his neck just to reassure herself that she wasn't still dreaming and was happy to find that his neck was intact. Taking her hand from his neck she wiped his tears off of his cheek gently, "I hate nightmares" she mumbeled softly to him.

"I can't imagine anyone who'd enjoy them." Hiro whispered to him with a smile. It wasn't that he didn't understand or feel her pain. Taking her hand in his, he let it rest and stay on his neck.

Looking at him Era sighed softly, breathing in she caught the smell of blood. Hiro's blood, and she knew it wasn't the blood from earlier, "Hiro...are you bleeding?" she asked softly looking slightly confused.
Staying pressed against Hiro she let her hands sit gently on his chest, Era was worried about him, she didn't want Hiro to be in pain if he was. "I told you before, you are not a monster Hiro...just very brave" she said softly a small smile coming to her face, a smile which reached her eyes making them seem to sparkle slightly.
