Linx nods his agreement before leaving her in her room. He whistles a soft and easy tune as he disappears back into his room, locking and barricading the door like Isi. No need to tempt fate afterall. He goes through his preperations methodically, laying out his clothes then showering and changing. He quickly checks his gun, cleaning and loading it, and slips it into his shoulder rigging.
Once he changes, he pauses to look himself over in his mirror, making sure everything was neat and clean. He nods his own approval and slips out the door to his room, a confident swagger in his steps. He was here to win, not lose like the rest of these chump amatuers, and he was gonna look damn good doing it. He wore black slacks and combat boots polished to a reflective sheen to look like dress shoes, a black formal shirt with a crimson tie and black vest over it. He had on his sunglasses for the bright casino lights, and a pinstriped fedora to top it off. Wearing fitting clothes finally, one could see that he really wasn't a big person, but when one saw his muscles, they'd find strength evident. He whistles as he moves, nice and easy, drawing attention as he went.
He slips up to the blackjack table, placing his money on the table and smiling lightly at the dealer. "Mind if I join?" he says before he's dealed in, and then loses himself in the game.

After that other ‘incident’ which Isi preferred to keep under wraps: no doctor, no priest, no telling a confident (as if Isi had someone to tell) she did not feel much like gambling. She exchanged a hundred dollars for quarters and walked away to the slots with four extra large cups filled to the brim with quarters and a tray of which to hold the cups. Putting a quarter in the machine and then pulling the handle was easy work, one in which Isi could pull herself together. She was going to meet Linx in the casino but she wanted to hide under her bed, get some sleep and maybe some garlic pizza. She felt like absolute shit! That Lynette had warned her that she would. Lynette had also warned her to stay out of the sun if she wished to live. Isi wasn’t a vampire. And Isi would kill the crazy Lynette.
How had things gone so wrong? Isi just wanted a walk. Perhaps it would have been better to have given her keys to the girl. Lynette wanted her keys, Isi said no, it was later that Isi realized Lynette was a vampire. Isi shot Lynette and instead of doing the sensible thing like fleeing Lynette did something most horrible. She screamed ‘gun’ and Isi was seen by half a dozen spectators. She was later mentioned in the news as a red headed female wanted for questioning. When Isi tried to shoot at the vampire while running a few innocent people got shot in the process. That wasn’t Isi’s fault. And in the end, as Lynette picked up Isi and screamed, ‘I have the shooter’ she tore her fangs into Isi’s mouth and she saw red. The witnesses were very unsure of what happened. A small pink haired girl picked up another red haired girl like it was nothing, then bit her, drew blood and they both ran in opposite directions. Isi would never be found by the police and neither would the pink haired one. ‘I will kill you.’ Isi thought. But first there was the other mess to clean up.

Linx bobbed along as he drifted through the casino, already a substantial amount of money in his pocket. Guards gave him glowers meant to intimidate and he just laughed them off. Staff eyed him when they thought he wasn't looking and he'd raise a glass in toast to them. They probably had orders to keep an eye on the sharp eyed, skilled and more than a little lucky man. No one had approached him yet, but he figured it was best to not let it get that far.
Instead, he hit the bar to make them feel better, spending the money he earned from them at their bar. He shat back shooting whiskey as he watched the crowds, thoughts of battle in his head and the night began to drift by all too uneventfully for his liking.

“I can do this,” Isi whispered to herself. It was easy pretending to be an innocent young woman. But it was going to be harder to pretend and fake a personality to someone who knew what Isi was like. It was hard acting care-free though the new Were/Vamp working together situation should alone make her have a cause for concern and worry. That was nothing compared to actually being bitten by a vampire. The wound had healed but the physical pain had not. Holy water hurt, she had to throw up, her head was dizzy and the sun just did something Isi did not like. It was most likely her imagination, that ‘side effect’. The sun couldn’t hurt her, a human.
Isi downed her quarters in the slot machine like she was anxiously trying to get a soda. It was only one hundred dollars, far from something to cry over. Isi worked furiously trying to get rid of her quarters. It was like the quarters were evidence and she needed to destroy them to keep her secret. She signaled over a waitress. She pulled out a crisp twenty-dollar bill. “Get me a ginger ale. Please.” Isi said trying to sound sincere. She knew that if she snapped the woman would spit in her drink, something Isi did not want. She tried to make the quarters go away so she could do something else. She would look foolish at a cards table with soda cups filled with quarters.

He finishes out his drink, moving about the tables, playing a few more hands before setting out to find Isi to see how she was doing. He finally found her sitting at a slot machine, furiously pumping quarters into it. He arched a brow as he nabbed a drink from a passing waitress, watching Isi for a few moments, trying to reconcile the calm and collected huntress he knew with the seeming emotional wreck before him.
He shakes his head, shotgunning the drink quickly and sending the glass on it's way, before wandering over to Isi. He drops a hand on her shoulder as he moves up beside her, squeezing gently. "Easy babe, no need to freak." he says with a smile, before adding in a lower tone, "Are you alright? You seem out of it." His voice was gentle and concerned for her. She was as close to a friend as he'd had in many years, and if she was hurting, he wanted to help.

Isi nearly jumped out of her skin when Linx placed his hand gently on her shoulder. She was certainly losing her cool. Isi never lost her cool. It was almost creepy, frightening if you will. He seemed calm and caring when he asked her if anything was wrong. But how could Isi tell him even if she wanted to? To say those words… they were a death sentence. If Linx was anything like Isi, Isi would destroy someone who had gotten bitten. It was absolutely disgusting to be bitten by such a creature. Isi couldn’t say a single word.
“I’m fine. I think I just have the flu.” Isi replied. How could she say that she was absolutely terrified of the pink haired vampire known as Lyn? She was. The woman was like no normal vampire. Isi did not know how to fight her. She was used to vampires running away, not gaining the attention of the public. Lyn said she would come back for Isi. For some reason Isi was downright terrified. She had never held such emotions before. Isi coughed a pretend cough. “What did you bankrupt the place already? – Or did you save some money here for me?”

He smiles at her, not believing for a moment that she was sick. She had the look of stress, but that was about it. However, he didn't feel the need to press her any further. He just smiled, letting her tell him in her own time. He slips a quarter from his pocket and drops it in the slot, pulling the lever before responding, taking the time to gather his thoughts.
"No, but I am winning a substantial amount. It's making the guards a bit antsy. I don't feel the need to press my luck into confrontation. It'd just be a waste of my time, and I really don't feel like fighting tonight." he says, dropping another quarter in for another turn. He smiles again, before adding softly, "I'm here for you, if you need me, for any reason. If anything's troubling you, you can tell me without fear of judgment whenever you wish. I'm your friend, first and fore most, no matter what you may think." he says with a soft smile.

Isi watched Linx slip quarters from his own pocket into the machine. She slid quarter after quarter into hers. These damned slot machines wouldn’t let you win unless they were about full. There was some technique some many who hit Vegas used after experimenting with the machine, but they outlawed him from their casinos and changed their machines. “True. Last thing I want tonight is to get called into some back room and have some guards who think they are punk try to break my ribs.” Isi muttered as she pulled the lever. Orange. Cherry. Orange. Banana. “Fucking hate bananas,” Isi muttered as she put in once more, another quarter.
“So how much did you win?” Isi asked curiously. Soon enough the woman came back with Isi’s ginger ale. It was in a gin glass with three cubes of ice. That was just the way Isi liked it. Isi tipped the woman a handful of quarters. Isi took a sip of her ginger ale. “Got it, but I’m okay. Honestly.” Isi lied. She was very good at it, she could beat a lie detector 9 times out of 9. But so could Linx, yet they both knew she was lying. But Isi would keep lying to the end. You never, ever, never change your story when you’re being tortured. Stick with it because once you tell them what you know they torture you some more to make sure that’s the truth. Of course Isi knew that Linx wasn’t going to torture her..

He smiles at her, placing a hand on her shoulder in a show of comraderie. They both knew she was lieing, but that was the way it had to be. He ignores the minor pay out, it being worth nothing to him compared to what he'd already won. He could probably hit that massive jackpot, the orders fairly simple. They'd never changed it after the one in Vegas had been cracked.
"Won as much as you pay me for a job easy. Decided to spend most of it here, to make them feel better. Gonna clean house before I haul ass outta here though." he ends with a grin, winking at her. It was his way of trying to cheer her up, to make her forgot her problems, if only for a night. "Just try to lighten up, if only for a night. The way you're acting is gonna bring them all down on us. If only for a night, relax, forget everything. I'll protect you, so you don't have to worry about protecting yourself." he says with another smile, squeezing her shoulder gently, wishing he could help her somehow.

If Isi knew how, she probably would have blushed. She never had a human man tell her that he would protect her before. That of course did not mean she was infatuated with him. “Don’t worry. I can protect myself.” Isi replied. She enjoyed her drink. “And I’m not going to bring them down on us.” She stood up when she put the last quarter and pulled the lever. “I’ll leave that job to you.”
Isi stood up and put her empty glass on a passing employees tray. She walked over to the blackjack table, it was her game. She was in no mood for craps or Russian roulette which was a waste of money unless you just so happened to be extremely lucky. She tapped on the table, “Deal me in.” Isi replied as she laid cash on the table. She was playing with three businessmen and one very old woman.

He chuckles as she shrugs it all off, shaking his head helplessly. He thinks back to what he'd seen on the news, Isi and a pink haired woman fighting before both took off. Strange, and he was more than a little curious, but he knew it'd be pointless to press her for details.
He moves to the table adjacent hers, setting about his task of methodically bankrupting the casino, fighting some guards, then hitting the bars around town. All in all, not a bad night, he figured. If only he knew how to get her to open up more!

A new round was started at the cards table. Isi was delt two cards. Her first card was a ten. Her next card was an eight bringing her score to an eighteen. She needed a three to hit twenty-one, but what were the odds? Isi passed trying to give the impression that she had twenty-one. When all the cards were flipped over, two of the men had busted, the other man was at seventeen and the old granny was at sixteen. Isi won the pile of money.
The next round Isi got a three and a seven. She thought as each of the players were thinking whether to hit, stay or pass about the pink haired vampire. They had been in the news but nothing in the news said about the red haired girl being bitten by the pink haired one, lapping up her blood. The cops had probably thought that the witnesses were crazy. But knew that either the pink or red haired female had shot some innocent people. There had been no plausible drawings or sketches because Isi had not let anyone see her face, they were running and her hood for the most part was up. Isi hoped Linx would not connect her and the red haired female wanted for questioning on the news. And of course ‘wanted for questioning’ meant she was wanted as a suspect.

He hummed to himself, thinking over the connection between Isi and the other woman that had been on the news. He sighs, shaking his head as he wins another hand of blackjack, raking in another pile of chips before he felt a tap on his shoulder. He quickly smothers the smile that threatened to spread, tossing a sidelong glance at Isi, hoping she wasn't going to get in trouble because of him. He turns to face the one wanting his attention, standing easily before the guard.
"We'd like you to come with us, we have some questions for you." the man says gruffly, eyeing Linx dangerously. "What about?" he replies in a confused tone, with more than a hint of amusement, before the man slugged him across the jaw, snapping his head to the side. He grins as he looks back at the man, "Bad move." he says condescendingly, his fist rising like lightning to strike the man beneath the jaw, laying him out. He still stood easily, smiling at a couple of stunned guards that had been moving his way. "C'mon fellas, I like the fitness program, it's a good workout." he says with a smile.

“I’m out.” Isi sighed as she heard the familiar sounds of fighting. She didn’t need to turn around to know that it was Linx and casino security but she did anyways. Isi rolled her eyes as she scooped up the money she had won. It was enough for perhaps a two week vacation it you conserved the money and spent moderately. But when Isi did things, she did things right. She tucked the chips into her pocket knowing that after she helped Linx they would probably have to grab their stuff from their rooms and make a run for it, fighting more security on the way. It wouldn’t be good to let security or housekeeping find guns in their rooms / safes the next day.
Isi walked towards the fight and though Linx was outnumbered he could easily defend himself despite the vast numbers unless… they all shot him or tried to shoot him with a taser. But Isi doubted that could possibly happen. “Need some help?” Isi asked. The casino staff thought that she was talking to them, but she was talking to Linx. Isi placed her fingertips an inch in her pocket as she waited for a response.
