What a beautiful night. The crowds were roaring and the fans were cheering. The place was absolutely packed with people. It wasn't surprising since this up and coming bad has been doing shows practically every night everywhere they possibly could. They wanted to spread their music and expand their fandom. The female on stage smiled and gave a wave out to the crowd, silver moon scar flashing slightly, as she belted out lyrics to one of their well known songs. Her shocking orange hair seemed to stand out from almost everyone in the room as she rocked the stage. The smile that seemed to stretch across her face was one of complete happiness. She was doing what she loved and nothing could really change that.
"Guys we got a new song coming your way! Check this shit out!"
The female shouted and the crowd practically lost it as the music flowed from her and the band. They fit so well together and unlike many of the other bands out there they were actually good which meant they could go far if need be. Finishing up the song, the band gave a wave and the crowd roared their approval. With one final bow, they disappeared behind the stage the crowd still going nuts. They high fived and the female flopped onto a couch in back breathing heavily.
"That was amazing! Biggest turn out of the century!"
She laughed pulling off her t-shirt so she was now in a white tang top and a pair of dark grey skinny jeans. The roar of the crowd seemed to diminish as the guards began to push people out, but one gorup of people broke through and came running back stage. Without a seconds hesitation, the female bolted off of the couch grabbing her jacket and keys and ran like hell.
"I'll catch you guys later I don’t want to deal with fans right now! Haha."
She yelled to her band mates as she rushed out of the backroom pulling her black leather jacket on. Pushing her way through the crowd, she finally reached the exit. Fresh air filled her lungs and the female sighed her relief. Shows were nice and all, but this was what she really enjoyed. Eyes settling on a cafe down the street, she changed her direction to the small place. Looking around, she pulled the door open and entered.

The survival of many will always justify the deaths of a few
The beat of the music flowed through his veins as he nodded his head in sync with the music, his eyes closed and his mind clear. To Sully it was as if he was the only person in the park. The music was connecting to his soul and it made him feel human once more. His path to the park had been one of pure luck. Having left the mansion, growing bored of all the pretend empire missions, to go for a walk, he found himself back in the city and the noise of the park had caught his attention. Now in New York it was always loud but this was a new level of noise. The park was rarely this busy and he had to find out why it was. It was then that he found the festival and got involved in partying. In the middle of the crowd, he now stood, just letting the music take over his body. Every beat pulsed through his veins, every word lifted his soul. And then, it came to an end.
Having clearly turned up towards the end of the evening, he was somewhat disappointed with his timing. Hours he'd been bored at the mansion, time he could have spent wisely down here. Opening his eyes, he watched the band disappearing backstage and observed the crowd disbanding. He didn't want to go. When security got to him, he explained that the park was a public domain and that they couldn't move him from the grounds if he didn't want to leave. As he was doing so, he saw a group of fans get past the security. Deciding to get something to eat, he flipped off the security and walked out the park. Looking about, he saw a cafe and made his way to it. Ordering a meal of sausage and chips, he turned to look a the occupants of the cafe. Immediately a red headed girl caught his eye and he smiled at her, the crazed look on his face showing his new found interest in her.

The small little shop offered the silence she needed. Sighing, she placed her order and asked if they could bring it out to her. Though they looked somewhat confused by the request, they honored it and she went and sat down. The female spread herself out in the small booth stretching somewhat. God she was so sore. Standing up on stage for so long could really bring a person down. Eye wandering around the room she tried to see who was in the cafe with her. There was a couple guys, a few chicks, and a couple other people she had seen at the concert. A few of them were whispering amongst themselves while looking at her. Great fans. The female groaned softly only at the fact that she didn't want to deal with people. She wanted to do something crazy though. Fingering her phone, she skimmed through a few ideas but found none she truly liked. What to do. What to do.
The female scanned the people again, her eyes locking on one man in particular who seemed to be looking at her with an odd interest. A light blush crossed over her as she folded her hands on the table. One of the workers brought her a cup of tea and a nice Caesar salad. The salad was only upon request but they didn't like when people asked for them. Nodding to the man, she slipped him a twenty and he hurried off. Alone once again she sipped her tea, practically melting into the seat. Damn that was good tea. Cradling the warm cup in her hands, the female simply breathed in the steam letting it fill her lungs. The salad was even better and she ate it happily enjoying every bite. The small group of girls in the corner finally got out and approached her slowly. The female smiled warmly at them and agreed to sign what they offered to her. The one guy that was with them winked and she rolled her eyes.
Just as she was about to say something to them, her phone shrilled from her pocket. Apologizing she flipped the phone to her ear. The voice on the other end spilled over her and she smiled somewhat. That is until she heard what he wanted to say. A pair this time and apparently they were young ones. Great, she had to deal with young demons. Pushing her plate away she threw some cash down onto the table and climbed out of the booth. Carefully she pulled out the small silver gun from her jacket pocket and slipped out of the cafe. The cold winds beat upon her as she walked but now she had a mission and her mind was shifting over to her hunter stage. Tonight was going to be a good night.

Taking the plate of food, he discontinued the eye contact with the female and sat at a table nearby. Tucking into his food, he watched the cafe go about its business and watched a group of fans approach the female. It seemed that he'd been right to think she was from the band. Happy that he'd been correct, he went about enjoying his food, pouring some ketchup on the side of the plate. Picking up a chip he began to dunk them in the sauce before eating them. His peace was soon shattered though. Sittng down opposite him, Novosi leaned across and whispered into his ear that the cafe was one of Daktri's gang's cafe and everyone inside it was to be taken care of. Sighing, he nodded and went about finishing his food. The Novosi left and as he watched him leave, Sully saw the singer leave too, having received a phone call. It would seem fate wanted her to live. He would see why soon, but before then, work was to be done.
Placing his knife and fork upon the cleaned plate, he quickly checked he had enough ammo in his guns before rising to his feet. Standing at the door, he lifted the guns to the air and began firing. One shot per person, each in the head. Cafe staff went down first, then the customers. And then there was silence. Reloading his guns, he walked around the cafe making sure that no one had survived. Happy with the result, he nicked up the autograph recently written and placed it in his pocket. Taking a small device out his pocket, he typed a few keys into it and quickly made his way out the cafe. Moments later, the cafe was engulfed in flames as a explosion rocked it. Looking around outside, he followed the scent of the human, now curious to why she had been allowed to leave. Guns at the ready, he began to jog, not far from where she was last scented.

The female moved swiftly and quickly though the night. Her pace almost at that of a run as she closed in on her prey. The young pair of demons was practically in her sight. The familiar smell clogged her nose and caused her wrists to throb. Silent she tucked her gun away and carefully pulled out her blade. Just as she was about to make her move an explosion rang through the night. Everyone on the streets turned towards the sound and the demons looked right at her. Attention caught up in the mess, the female missed the pair escaping. A swear slipped from her lips as she ran towards the source of the flames. To her surprise it was the small cafe she had just been in only moments before. Eyes widening she tried to get closer to the flames to get a good look. In the burning building, or at least what was left of it she saw bodies. Bodies of all the people that had been causally going about their nights. It took almost every muscle in her body not to jump in and try to help. There was nothing more that she could do. Something cracked and the sign fell blocking the entrance. Backing away slowly the female could only watch as the small building burned away.
Sirens blared through the night and she took that as her cue to leave. Not only had she lost her demons but they knew she was onto them. This was going to be tougher than she thought. Mind whirling, she spun around and almost ran smack into a man. Stumbling back somewhat, she realized it was the one from the cafe. Her eyes traveled to his drawn gun and the faint smell of gun powder filled the air, How could he have survived? Unless he left when she did, but she hadn't seen him exit.
"Excuse me sir. Do you know what happened to the cafe? It was still standing only but a moment ago. I don't....well I just don't understand what happened..."
The female muttered the words softly her eyes going from him to the burning building. The gun in his hand meant nothing to her because of the weaponry she currently carried on her person. Though her concern for the people inside was too great. Had they suffered? Was anyone still alive even? These were questions she wanted answered but didn't know who to find that would know. All at once police and fire trucks filled the street blocking everything off as they battled the flames. People gathered around drawn to the building as if it were their entertainment for the night. A single tear rolled down her cheek as she continued to watch the blaze die out.

His jog was cut short with the girl turning into him. She'd been closer than he first thought and he soon realised he'd been looking at her scent leading back to the park, where she'd come from. Cursing to himself inside, he turned to face the girl who was now speaking to him. Both of them had weapons out and neither seemed phased by the other having a weapon. Placing his guns back in side holsters, he prepared to answer the female. "I think there was an explosion in the kitchen. I was walking out at the time and it seemed to come from that direction. Perhaps it was a deep fat fryer explosion. I hear they're pretty common. I was on my break, I'm security for a business man and I thought I saw someone who has been making threats against him. As I left to get him, all this happened." He was lying of course, but it was done very calmly and as if he was trying to come to terms with it himself.
Motioning to her gun, he asked "And you? Why do you run around with guns drawn? Were you not moments ago singing on stage? You may want to put that away. Police will be looking for a bomber. Or what's left of him. You know what the current world is like. I'm from Ireland originally and where I come from, if you blow up in the explosion, you fucked up. Not getting a virgins for that." Trying to make light of the conversation, he looked towards the cafe, knowing full well they were all dead. Sure they were find a bullet in every person. But then the Novosi would cover it up through contacts in the police. Deep fat fryer explosion, caused by a careless chef. "Perhaps we should go elsewhere. We were both the last two to leave. Don't want to spend the night in a cell as a witness. Do you?"
