→ FULL NAME Rorek Ares Black
→ NICKNAME Ares, R, The Black Pistol, The Black Cat
→ AGE 35 years old, appears to be 30
→ GENDER Male
→ SPECIES Human
→ BLOOD TYPE O
→ OCCUPATION Hunter
→ PLAY BY Christian Bale
→ HAIR Rorek has dark brown hair that extends down to his shoulders in length. His hair is usually messy as if he does not wash or treat it at all, and usually has the appearance of just getting out of bed. When on the run, his hair seems to constantly get in his way, but never seems to hinder his profession.
→ EYES Rorek's eyes match his hair in color, a dark brown just slightly brighter than oak. One looking into his eyes can only seem to describe them as blank, or distant, as if he were blind or not really looking at what was in front of him. His eyes betray an emotionless, empty look, at even the most emotional times.
→ STATS Five foot Eleven inches, One Hundred and Eighty pounds
→ BODY Rorek, codenamed Ares carries himself in a good posture at all times. Shoulders slightly back, back straight and head up is always how he is seen walking down a street or carrying himself in front of other Slayers, and even Vampires. On the underside of his clothing, Rorek is a very well toned male individual for his age. Though he is thirty-five years old, and lacks large muscles besides his broad shoulders, Rorek’s approach on physical fitness is shown by more defined or ‘cut’ muscles. Underneath his clothing, one would be able to see all of his muscles seemingly accentuated from his body, toned from his calf muscles, to his abdomen, and even to his biceps.
→ FEATURES Rorek has two tattoos on either shoulder just above his bicep. On his left shoulder, the Japanese kanji for 'Strength of Body', and on his right shoulder, the Japanese kanji for 'Strength of Mind' are imprinted into his skin for his own reminder.
→ WARDROBE On the outer rim of this man’s appearance, is the clothing he appears in daily. Rorek is known to always appear in the same attire, no matter the situation whether casual or otherwise. Fitted to his physique, codename ‘Ares’ adorns entire black clothing, from head to toe, starting with the shoes that he never seems to change. Rorek seemingly wears black dress shoes with no laces, instead being a solid top shoe that covers the entire top of the foot and arches to cover the back of the heel. Meeting the black socks underneath, Rorek wears black fitted jean pants that run down to just above the top of his dress shoes. Tucked into his pants and held securely with a black colored belt with a silver buckle is his obsidian colored short sleeve t-shirt that cuts off on either arm just below the shoulder. Black leather straps overlap this top t-shirt, creating an elaborate holster system in which Rorek uses to hold most of his pistols and their ammo; his belt has four ammo pouches on each side of the buckle, and overall the leather holster system can hold up to ten total pistols over his entire body. Overlapping his entire attire, mostly to cover his holsters, Rorek adorns a black colored trench coat that is worn and torn all over, having been through the worst of years as a Slayer and even before. The collar of this trench coat is always turned down in a looping fashion on each side, and the coat falls down to his ankles from behind; though Rorek seems to always wear this coat open and unbuttoned, it still covers his leather holsters from view on either side of his body and on his back.

→ FULL PERSONALITY Rorek is a quiet individual who tends to keep to himself or only converse with his identical twin brother Roren when with a group of people. This trait however seems to be found in most Slayers due to their secretive nature, Rorek seems to be no different in this aspect. Secrecy of his identity and persona is vital to him, and he believes it is essential for any Slayer’s overall survival. Though secretive, Rorek is kind hearted toward those he considers comrades; yes, comrades, not friends. In truth, codename Ares considers no one to be a friend, he doesn’t believe in having them, but instead has ‘comrades’ in the fight against the vampires. Friends die, and fade, emotional attachments such as friends are too much of a burden for one who calls himself a Slayer, this is Rorek’s philosophy. Comrades are expendable, comrades can and will always be replaced by others, and only those who are strong enough to take care of themselves can be considered to be comrades. Rorek will never address someone as a friend, only as a fellow combatant against the plague that is the vampire.
Despite this outlook on friendship and obvious lack of sociability, Rorek does attempt to stay on friendly terms with his fellow Slayers, and does carry on conversations from time to time. While not exactly a person to strike up a decent conversation, he is one to carry on an intelligent one, and makes a point to join in conversations with subjects that are of a serious or political nature. Ares was the Greek God of War, a defiant God who waged war against his sister, Athena. Rorek was given this codename for his defiant attitude toward the Slayer organization, and his complete lack of respect for the orders given to him. While he has completed every mission he has ever been assigned to date, his methods for doing so have not always been by the book. Preferring the ‘shoot first, ask questions later’ method, Rorek has not always been very subtle when it comes to dealing with the vampires. Though he is very adept at gathering intelligence for the Slayer organization, those that end up giving him his information are rarely heard from again.
Despite his lack of sociability, Rorek is an experienced leader, and is well known for keeping those who follow him in shape and on top of their game. Rorek believes in the Slayers and what they do, and believes that to accomplish their goals that only the best will be able to survive. It is his duty to better those who would otherwise hold people back, or be sent out to die, if not taught the ways of the Slayer world. Though he himself does not appreciate the rules and orders of the Commanders and the top ranking Slayers, he encourages all beneath him to follow commands to their entirety. As any good leader, Rorek cares for his subordinates, and protects them with his life both in and out of combat with the vampires. Despite the lack of friendship he possesses amongst the organization, every Slayer who has met him knows that he would lay down his life for them without hesitation. This trait alone demands respect from all of the Slayer community, and those who address him treat him with the respect that he deserves for watching over their lives.

→ FULL HISTORY Rorek was born to into the Black family in North Carolina on August 8th, 1975, one minute behind his twin brother Roren. Both boys were given Greek middle names, as was custom in the Black family, Ares and Mars. The two children were born into a very loving family, father Vendikos and mother Beatrice loving both of their sons and providing for their every need. You could say that both boys were pampered during their child years, getting pretty much whatever they asked for from their parents due to good grades and good behavior. Rorek and his brother Roren were the best of friends and brothers throughout their childhood lives, as well as throughout their entire lives as well; both of the brothers went to the same schools, attending middle school and high school together and both passing with near perfect grades. During high school, Rorek participated in the high school karate club, becoming one of the top ranked members in the entire state of North Carolina. On the other end of the spectrum, his brother Roren competed on the high school track team, becoming an incredible competitor and extremely fast on the track. Though he was a renowned karate member, Rorek still had troubles even in high school communicating and getting along with others. He wasn’t a social person, and began to become somewhat of an outcast in his home town, despite his success with karate. Rorek and Roren’s relationship began to hit a small rough patch when his brother began to become addicted to taking adrenaline pills; in the end, Rorek decided it was best to let his brother do as he willed, and from then on things were fine between them. At age 18, Rorek along with his brother graduated high school each with high grades, and a very hopeful future.
Just out of high school and hopeful for College, Rorek decided to explore his adventurous side with his brother, and forged two fake I.D.’s for both of them to use. A few months out of high school, both brothers went to a bar in an attempt to fool the bartenders and get as drunk as possible. Though having fun on the way into the bar, getting past the bouncers at the doors, both brothers were asked to leave immediately or else the authorities would be called. Unknown to Rorek at the time, his brother had hyped himself up on adrenaline pills before going to the bar with him, and went off on both bartenders, refusing to leave in a very loud unsightly manner. Rorek attempted to pull his brother out of the bar, but he was too intent on staying and could not be moved; the bartender pulled out a sawed off shotgun and pointed it at Roren, threatening to use force if he wouldn’t leave the bar. In what seemed to be a moment, the gun had been turned on its owner, and Rorek watched as his brother fired a single round into the man’s chest. Rorek’s eyes widened in horror for a moment before he watched the other bartender produce a six shot revolver from underneath the bar, and point it at his brother. As the man raised the gun to fire, Rorek kicked upward to hit the hilt of the gun in the man’s hand, which sent it flying in an arc into the air and down into Rorek’s ready hand; the 18 year old immediately took aim at the bartender, and fired all six rounds into the man’s chest. From that day on, Rorek and his brother went on the run from the law, never to see their parents again.
A few days after the incident, both brothers were found not by the police, but by a man who simply called himself a 'Hunter'. Bursting into the room Rorek was in, the slayers surrounded both men and told them who it was they had killed. The existence of vampires and werewolves came as a shock to Rorek, but the ultimatum the man gave them did not; the Hunter gave the brothers a choice, learn the way of the Hunters, or be killed. Feeling the responsibility to atone for what he had done as adolescence, Rorek accepted the offer without regret, and entered into apprenticeship with his brother under their Hunter ‘master’ codenamed Mortis. For two full years Rorek trained to become a Hunter of vampires and werewolves under his master and guide, furthering his martial arts combat and becoming a master with the pistol. Even as an apprentice Hunter, he was given the nickname ‘Black Pistol’ by his master for his excellent marksmanship and gun-slinging with handguns. At age 20, however, two years into his apprenticeship and with only one year left to go before becoming a full Hunter, the brother’s master Mortis was slain in the line of duty; killed by the very vampires he had hunted for most of his life. On that same day, Rorek also lost his twin brother Roren, who died attempting to save their master.
Enraged by the death of his brother and master, Rorek exacted revenge on those involved in his death, savagely and ruthlessly disposing of the vampires that had killed him. For the last year of apprenticeship, Rorek refused to take on another master, and instead taught himself how to survive in the world of the Hunters, becoming a full Hunter at age 21 the following year. Rorek was given the codename ‘Aries’ after the Greek God of War, and after his middle name, for his defiant nature toward his superiors, and ruthless views on the slaying of vampires. For the next 14 years, Rorek spent his time making a name for himself in the Hunter community. ‘The Black Pistol’ was a nickname that stuck with Rorek throughout his life as a Hunter, and even throughout the vampire community. At age 25 Rorek used his personal finances he had gained over the years from various stocks and bonds and bought a manor to use as his home, and base of operations. It is also a known Hunter hangout, but is a fortress in comparison to any other home, warding vampires and were's to steer clear of it for miles. Throughout the next 8 years Rorek became a dedicated individual, and despite his views on comrades, survivability for everyone that was considered an ally was always his top priority. This survivability trait earned him the new nickname ‘The Black Cat’ amongst his fellow Hunters, believing he had nine lives in which to spare during his missions. Rorek now spends his time gathering intelligence on the vampire and were movements throughout the world, and killing off individual important figures in their communities.

[/size]Copied from a Naruto Role-Play OC Role-Play:
A resounding echo boomed off of the cavernous walls for a mere moment before a small crack of light could be seen at the entrance, shining like a ray of hope into the looming darkness of the lair before the sliver disappeared just as quickly. The boulder hadn’t moved completely out of the way of the entrance as it had for the other members of Akatsuki when they entered, it was this man’s style to enter quietly and quickly to the lair he had built himself a mere year ago in secrecy. The black figure entered the now dark cavern again and made his way silently over the rock surface to the others that sat around the round stone table, each in their respective seats besides the one who lay on the floor. The man’s cloak bellowed out behind him as he walked, his footsteps clattering against the floor as his sandals made contact with the rock and earth, cutting the silence of his entrance like a hot knife through butter.
The man was fairly average in height, standing at five foot eleven inches tall, and seemed in no way fat nor skinny in his appearance from what anyone could tell. As he passed by the stone thrones the others sat in with their respective kanji symbols etched into the back rests, they could make out his facial features from a top the collar of his black robe, which was turned up and stopped at the tip of his chin. His hair was snowy white, with a faded black tint at his hair’s root, and was spiked up and slightly back in a fashion that seemed natural to his appearance. His face was handsome with what seemed to be black eye liner underneath each eye, smudged downward as if he had been crying; to the trained eye it would seem that these markings were etched into his skin, and not mere paint or eye liner placed there by himself. His skin was pale white in color, his eyes fixed ahead of himself as he made his way around the table, and sat himself down at what seemed to be the head, the kanji symbol ‘Rei’ meaning ‘Zero’ etched into his backrest.
The figure leaned back in his throne, not saying a word to the others from the moment he had entered to the moment he had sat down. He put both of his elbows on the arm rests of the throne, his left arm coming up and placing his left hand underneath his chin with his left index finger extended to touch the side of his temple. His right arm lay in his lap, his hand on his right inner thigh as he stared straight ahead, his eyes completely visible to the table. His eyes were white in color with a grey outline of his pupils. In the grey outline, four black tomoe sat at twelve, three, six, and nine o’clock around the pupil. In the middle of these tomoe, there were four red colored markings. His actual pupil was red in color, and was surrounded by a black star shaped marking. These were the eyes of the Akatsuki Leader, the eyes of a man who was said to have never lost a battle, the eyes that now scanned over each and every member who was in the cavern making contact with each of their own in turn. His eyes finally came to rest on Tenshi’s, the only woman a part of the newly formed Akatsuki Organization. A smile split across his face as he said calmly and yet with a childish tone of voice, ”Good afternoon.” Aran Aria, the Akatsuki Leader, had arrived.
(I will create a Role-Play with this Slayer character for a sample instead, if that is necessary.)
