2. Happiness
3. Beauty
::SUMMARY::
Seras Alcaste was always a happy type of person. Though her childhood left very much to be desired, she was strangely optimistic. Throughout her subsequent teen years she was unstoppably happy and inseparable from her lover Hiro. Always kind and loyal, the girl loved all and was as positive as could be. Being a vegetarian she cares for animals and loves the simple beauty found in nature. Also, her own physical beauty is something she is very adamant about. The girl rarely sees herself in light well enough to admit her own gorgeous exterior, and often denies compliments, but she liked the attention and is never one to go out in public unless she looked her very best.
::WEAKNESES::
1. The sun
2. Thirst
3. Severe Depression
::SUMMARY::
Even before having been turned a vampire, Seras took care of her complexion and rarely was seen in direct sunlight. She loves to wear sunscreen and carry a parasol whenever it can match her outfit. Also, the girl is in love with big, over the top sunglasses for their looks as well as functionality. However, as of late, her newly acquire vampirism is of muc concern to the girl. She is disgusted to think of herself as inhuman, without her lover there to comfort her, and often puts herself far below normal people. The thirst for blood she also now harbors was something she had been able to somewhat get used with the help of her boyfriend. It wasnt ever particularly strong but without anyone in her life to comfort her, it only fuels her depressive and inferior nature.

::SUMMARY::
Seras was always noted to be a beautiful girl. Even growing up many boys often told her she was pretty. After a rough childhood, she began wearing makeup at an early age and developed a fancy for keeping herself looking her best. She is slender by nature and of an average height with a perfectly pale complexion. Since being turned a vampire, her hazel eyes now turn an astounding shade of red when the girl is aroused or generally just thirsty for blood. Her fangs have since been developing as well and often poke out of her lips in such an instance. It was something which she found bizarre and at times even frightening, but her lover had always been by her side to comfort her of the changes.

Seras is a generally kind and loving person. She has always been rather easy to get along with and is not very confrontational. She is mildly but recently has been somewhat of a recluse. Since her childhood she has always looked down upon herself and is always first to consider everyone else above her. Though she is beautiful, Seras doesn't regularly acknowledge it herself and finds it incredibly difficult to simply accept a compliment without disagreeing with it. She personally attributes her beauty to nothing other than a habit of keeping herself as pretty as could be, which in her eyes is still lacking. Aside from her well hidden scars, Seras had been turned a vampire and the girl considers herself even more inferior to others and is disgusted with herself on a very regular basis. Also, from experiences throughout her childhood, Seras is polite and pleasant with anybody she meets, even those expressing hatred towards the girl, whom which she always agrees. She is the type to never consider herself before others.

::HISTORY::
Seras Annabelle Alcaste was born to Tyler Alcaste and Alice Leonard in a middle class suburb of London, England. After she was brought into this world her parents never married and instead split. Her biological father returned to the United States, never being heard from again and her mother remarried a wealthier businessman soon after.
Being an only child, Seras spent the first few years of her life being pampered and showered with love. Her parents appeared to love their little girl very much and she enjoyed the attention all the more. However, as the years went by, their love grew less and less as they were often too preoccupied with work and other chores.
By the time Seras began school, her parents were nearly non-existent in her life. They gave her the bare minimum of attention, taking her to and from school, and the occasional family activity. She grew to love and cherish what few moments she spent with her parents. They were always too busy for her and yet the little girl grew to blame herself and firmly believed if she was a better child to them, then she would get more attention. Day in and day out, Seras would strive for perfection and every night feel completely unsatisfied with herself, some days even more so than the last. Her love for her parents, however, was always reinstated when they showered her with gifts to make up for their lack of time spent. Little did she know it was in fact to merely keep her quiet as even at an early age their hatred for her had grown.
When Seras had neared her second of third year of school was when her parents' relations began to dwindle. She often hid in her bedroom under her covers and would overhear her parents downstairs arguing. Sometimes she could make out her name amongst their quarrels and it only helped to fuel her lack of self esteem at an early age. Seras continued to believe she had to be the best daughter she could. She was able to find happiness in it however, On the few times they went out as a family, her parents would receive compliments on their cute daughter and it made her feel wonderful. She very much enjoyed looking and doing her best.
The girl was always an excellent student and also one of the most prettiest and popular girls in school. All throughout her grade school and early high school years boys were making friends with her left and right. She never once let herself deviate from living up to what she believed were her parent's high standards, when in reality they hardly cared for her at all.
Then on her 16th birthday Seras' life took a drastic change. Her parents decided she could no longer live with them and threw her out onto the streets on her own. The girl had previously taken up employment at a local cafe' and was great friends with the owner's daughter. They took her in and thus began her new life. An overachiever and workaholic by nature, Seras juggled her studies and a full-time work schedule in order to pay her friend's father rent, despite never once been asked for it. Having been kicked out by her own parents left her feeling incredibly inferior, but the girl bottled her emotions in order to forget them and let out only her happiness.
One day, Seras met a fine young man who had stopped by her cafe' on evening. He was alone and looked horribly fatigued, but the instant she approached him his face lit up with a brilliant smile and he was as polite as ever. It made her feel awkward, but happy on the inside for no one had ever once been so very pleasant and flattering to her. He took a fancy to her and often showed up at her work, ordering minimal servings of things and leaving massive tips for her. She felt horrible accepting them, but weeks went by and the boy kept at it, never once complaining. He always complimented her on everything imaginable and even brought her roses. In time, Seras fell head over heels for him. He had first introduced himself to her as Hiro, and since that day she could never get his name off her mind. Though she horribly over worked herself, the girl felt confident and energetic everyday and looked forward to seeing her new friend. On occasion he would skip his routine and not show up for days on end, and it worried her to no end, but he never once failed to return. She began to notice odd things about him, however. The boy only ever came when the sun was up but once, and it was late in the evening at that and he had worn a long, dark coat with a high collar. Also, he always looked very drained and unrested upon returning to his habit from a few days absence. The most peculiar thing of all, the girl couldn't help but realize, was the only beverage he had ever ordered was a red tea. It was on a day she was able to take a break and sit down with him, something she enjoyed all too much. Seras had watched him place cube after cube of sugar into the cup and stir it gently until it became a thicker consistency, but before taking a sip he had brought the cup to his lips and stared into it with a strange look the girl couldn't quite place.
Eventually their friendship grew to an entirely new level. As usual, Hiro had made his way to her place of employment one fine evening, being as pleasant as ever. But that night he asked her to be his girlfriend and caught her completely by surprise. She was head over heels in love with him to the point in which he had to have noticed, but she never once would have thought her feelings were mutual. It gave her a newfound happiness the girl never knew she had. All negative memories from her childhood were nothing but a blur to her now.
Throughout their relationship, the two were inseparable and perfect for each other. But early on, things grew awkward when Seras began to question his odd behaviors. What he would reply would change her life forever. On a calm, starry night the two had been out in a park for a late night walk, when they were caught in a warm embrace and kissed under a full moon. Seras was disappointed when he pulled his lips away, but was confused and scared to feel a sharp pair of teeth poke at the neck. They never broke the skin that night. Hiro immediately pulled away and fled the scene. By the time she had finally found him sulking on a bench in the park, the girl could never have been ready for what she saw next. The very man she loved more than anything looked at her through tear filled crimson eyes; his pearl white fangs protruding from his pale lips. Sarah never believed in ghosts or monsters, but she could not help but realize what her boyfriend was in the very moment.
Hiro saw the fear in her eyes and his heart sunk. He knew she must think ill of him and it pained him greatly. Fearing for her safety, he said his goodbye's that night and had meant to leave her life completely. But after seeing her beautiful self once more he settled for simply making an appearance later but couldn't disclose when.
Nearly a week went by and Seras was noticeably miserable. She continued about her daily life with nothing interesting her at all. The girl began to realize, however, that though she was at a loss for words that night, she still loved him. No matter what he may be. The more Seras though about it, it interested her. She was still uneasy and a little frightened by it, but her love for the young vampire made her extremely happy when he eventually showed up at her work once more. She nearly threw herself to him and their relationship began anew.
Months into their perfect relationship, Seras told Hiro she wanted to be closer to him. She had thought about it thoroughly, and having not seen their love growing weaker, decided she too wanted to become a vampire. Due to his inability to see her during the day, their relationship was rather limited and it upset her greatly. Hiro knew this, and it hurt him a great deal, but he was never one to let her know of his equally as demeaning lack of self esteem. After making preparations with her work and school, Seras was convinced. With much hardship, Hiro finally agreed and on a fair night under the moonlight, in a most romantic setting, the vampire took her humanity.
The first onsets of her vampirism took Seras much getting used to, but with her Hiro constantly at her side, she found it less difficult. Eventually, she got her first thirst for blood and her boyfriend oblidged. She had never known anything to taste so wondrous, and from that moment on the girl cherished her lover's blood all too much. Every time she drank from him she was outrageously appreciative and always offered to repay him in any way. However, since she newly discovered a vampire's taste for blood, Hiro had all but nearly stopped his own feeding. It weakened him considerably, but he often played it off as simply being tired from a lack of sleep.
Over a year into their love, Seras' life took yet another severe turn for the worse. After months had gone by without Hiro having a taste of blood his body had slowly been deteriorating. She only now began to notice and never believed it when he played it off as nothing. His breathing was always extremely shallow, the few times she had checked his pulse it was nearly non-existent, and most of all his brilliant amber eyes that she had fallen for upon first seeing him had long since lost their luster. Even when she would beg him, however, Hiro simply couldn't bring himself to feed off her. The horrid look she wore when she first knew what he was struck vivid in his mind and it still destroyed him deeply.
One fateful evening, Seras let her hunger get the better of her, and after feeding off of her lover once more, he closed his eyes and never again woke up. It was devastating. Seras lost her mind, as well as her will to live. For weeks she refused to acknowledge his death and talked to and of him in her daily life, though he was never once actually there. When the sad realization came to her that he was in fact no longer with her, the pretty young vampire lost her will to live entirely. She quit her job, school, everything. All she did was wander around town aimlessly at night, succumbing to a severe depression. And then, a self mutilating habit formed. With her vampiric healing she discovered she could lose more blood and endure more pain than any human could ever dream of, and loved every second of it. In some deranged mentality, the extreme amounts of pain the girl put herself through translated into pleasure.
Without her lover at her side, Seras was truly distraught. She could not accept his death and simply believed he had left her because she wasn't good enough for him.
Eventually, Seras decided to venture overseas to the United States in order to get away from herself and everything, as well as look for her real father.

::RP EXAMPLE::
Seras Alcaste walked along aimlessly throughout town, the dilapidated cobble stones she encountered in smaller streets causing her to lose her balance numerous times. On come occasions, the girl would simply lay there for minutes on end, tears running down her cheeks. If what few onlookers that had been out that evening hadn't already made a habit of avoiding her, surely she would have gotten some strange looks.
The vampiress had no place to go or stay. There was nothing on her mind aside from her lover whom she had "killed". Seras took the blame entirely for having drained her Hiro of his life and it ruined her heart dearly. She was now all alone in a strange new world. She would never forgive herself for what she had done. Every moment of her life she thought so dearly of him, and hated herself even more for ruining not only his life and their relationship, but also the body that her lover had cherished so very much. Though she hid it all well through makeup, and thankfully all her deeper scars were well on their way to healing from her vampirism, to her they were all still very much visible. It pained her to know she was destroying the one thing people had never failed to compliment her on, the very body Hiro adored for very much, but with her troubled mind she couldn't help it in the least.
The sun soon began to rise, and having only recently been turned into a vampire Seras found herself strangely tolerant to the sunlight still but it burned her greatly. This particular morning was no exception. It was the one pain no vampire could ever hope to bear. Having thier blood boil, their bodies burning alive. Even Seras could enjoy it only so far before seeking shelter in her nearby hotel room. Hopelessly distraught and growing tired, Seras began to carve her lover's name into her side before she finally fell asleep upon the floor.
