Okay there was a little section in the book that I thought to be interesting. Its very good for it was refering to.
"Adrift upon the sea of time, the lonely god wanders from shore to distant shore, upholding the laws of the stars above."
Christopher Paolini is refering to a person from a tv show. If I give any hints it would give him[the character] and the show away only I'll give you this, LT and Earl Grey watch the show. Think of a 'lonely god'
I didn't think this to be of games since its only about one question. So that's why its here. I'll tell you the answer when everyone has given up if he isn't revealed yet.

Lol... I know the answer, heh heh. Why though, is Mr. Paolini ripping the aforementioned show off, I wonder?

Why does it not surprise me that my eyebrows do not twitch at this? We are all aware of his close and comfy relations with Star Wars. Perhaps the dishonourable gentlemen thought that Shakespeare would swallow all memory of such things - but he was truly wrong, what with the awesome legions of Who Fans... jabbering.

Not to mention his far greater friendship with LOTR map/plot/setting/languages/everything than even most rip-offy modern fantasies are. But it is an obscure thing to use, surely?

I did have the passing thought that Tolkein had risen up and crafted the map as it truly is uncanny. He doesn't expect analytically insane types to read his material, possibly.

I'm not insane... just... a bit OCD... and obsessive...
And he is greatly mistaken. What else have analytically insane types to do but read such books and post their disgust at the lack of originality online?

So, you are the only sane being standing on an insane world? Exactly. Silly dishonourable gentlemen.

Yea it was the Doctor, but I think it just a small piece of a poem he had one of the characters write out on the ground. I just thought it to be interesting. There's also something from Beowolf in here from what I heard from a friend who had already read the book.

Hmm... I shall withhold judgement until I've read it, but I hated the first two, so I suspect I shall disagree.

I didn't particularly like the second one, as The Janitor rightfully stated, the unoriginality of the dishonourable gentlemen truly began to show with the entire elderly warrior trains fresh little boy... I may add it to the pile, but I'm not willing to buy another of the dishonourable gentlemen's books again...

Its you like it or you don't. Maybe he'll have other books that aren't ripped off of other books.

I'm not willing to buy another of the dishonourable gentlemen's books again... Do what I do. Try to get it free or for less than one dollar. Then do all sorts of horrible things to it. I plan on introducing a certain book to a little Federalie .243 Winchester in the future. Don't worry LT. Isn't one that is in your collection nor will it ever be added.
