[Okay, there is NO order in this thread. Come in when you want, leave when you want. However, the only exception is NO fighting. This is supposed to be a fun thread, guys xD] Everything was prepared.
It would be another hour or so before the guests would arrive, and The Countess was sitting in a chair waiting for them. Rather than fully going out, she wore a simple, though somewhat revealing, blood red satin dress and a black mask with crimson trim. This night, her hair was pulled back into a tight bun, her bangs swept to the side and curled.
"Everything is ready, ma'am," a tall body guard at her side stated, "all that's needed are the attendees."
Her dark red lips curled into a smirk, and she looked up at him, "Excellent. This will definitely be a night to remember." Tonight she was in unusually bright spirits, and the Blood Dynasty members will definitely be somewhat surprised by her sudden cheery nature, "I have missed these parties, David. I pray you will enjoy yourself as well."
Her bodyguard nodded in response, "Of course."
"Good. Make sure that Nyx and Matthew get their devices to keep contact with me." A red sash was tied around her waist to make it easier to find her in the crowds, "Now...I think the band should start playing."
The Blue Danube Waltz began to play softly throughout the currently empty ballroom. It was only a matter of time now.

GOT MORE RECORDS THAN THE KGB M.I.A. THIRD WORLD DEMOCRACY § The door to the limo opened up and Isi let Seras, her handmaiden get out of the limo first. The invitation to the party was in Isi's hand. They were most certainly not invited or had not in fact been invited, yet, Isi happened upon an invitation none the least. Perhaps the invitation would bring its new owner better luck than the last, some female who currently resided dead and to turn dust come the suns rays or Police... whichever happened upon first.
"Come Seras dear! Let's enjoy ourselves." § Isi had strictly told Seras that she shouldn't refer to Isi as Isi at this party but as Lady Sara Claire. It was a fine name, no? Isi wasn't going to do any killing at this party, but it was more-so for information purposes. She knew that many of the patrons would indeed be vampires ... werewolves .... This was to be a fine party, so shouldn't a girl pretending to be someone else who was really a hunter of these creatures attend? Why not ... There was a non-violence clause on said invitation - If only that applied to off grounds as well - Though a rule never stopped Isi from killing anyone. She hadn't told Seras how she obtained the invitation and she might never.
"I wonder if we'll see the Prime Minister or Obama?!?" § Isi wasn't expecting to see any familiar faces here, but still, it was a masquerade party. She had on a fine black *mask* trimmed with fourteen caret gold. There were several feathers of a color so dark it could be described as either blue or black, certainly not one and yet not in between. Isi was also adorned in a *Victorian* black dress which puffed up in so many places it made hiding weapons quite easy. Of course Isi wasn't expecting to use any of her weapons, she just never went anywhere without. Her weapons had been dripped in perfume so profusely that not one trace of gunpowder could be smelt.
§ Her hair was let loose, but straightened. A black flower of some sort, plastic, was placed in her hair. Around her neck she wore a necklace of assorted diamonds. If anyone could recognize it for an original, they would too know that it was "hot" or stolen. But no one would make the connection that this dainty woman had stolen it herself; an assumption would be made that her lover and or husband had purchased it hot for her. .

Seras promply stepped out of the limousine, everything about her figure and stance daity and elegant in a ladylike manner. However, she immediately stepped aside and reached out a hand gloved in lace to offer aid to her master. Afterwards, she of course stood by her side but at a mere half pace behind and accompanied her to the door.
The vampiress loved to accessorize and beautify herself in order to put on a show for everyone else, but thankfully she had done her best to tone it down so as to never be on par with Isi. Her dress was of course less expensive, yet brilliant and beautiful in its own right. It was silk with a hand painted floral pattern adorning the side. She wore elbow length lace gloves along with the most elegant stockings and pumps that would make any women jealous. Any woman perhaps aside her master, as Isi's choice in footwear was also extraordinary. Seras also had an expensive bow in her gorgeous hair made of the finest gold and silver laced silk affixed to a diamond encrusted clasp. The mask that his her face was equally exemplar.
The two wandered into the ballroom and instantly Seras' heart skipped a beat. It had been months since she had gotten the chance to set foot into such an extraordinary place, and to attend a fancy gathering such as this made her giggle like a 6 year old playing princess. However, glancing over at Isi, she immediately shut her lips and contained herself to nothing more than a severely beautiful and seductive smile.
"Im heaps sorry miss Claire."

GOT MORE RECORDS THAN THE KGB M.I.A. THIRD WORLD DEMOCRACY § Isi handed the invitation over to a butler type man who broadly inspected it and allowed the females to pass. Isi's eyes scanned the broad area. The mansion was amazing, finer than Isi's - If she would ever be so brash to suggest such a thing. She glanced around, trying to look at the other patrons of the masquerade. There were few and far between. They were in the right place, correct? Where was everyone? Trap was the word that screamed through her mind. She was trying to control herself. It certainly wasn't a trap. And if it was, she would deal with it.
"What are you sorry for?" § Isi questioned as if she sincerely cared. There was an orchestra and it was playing an unfamiliar song. Though in all fairness, Isi wasn't familiar with many such music. She mostly listened to death metal and heavy opera. But it was nice, it had a good beat to it. Isi glanced around the ballroom, no one seemed to be dancing ... no one seemed to be here. Was Isi mistaken about her information? - Was the party a hoax with no vampires?

Fashionably late as always. Mara Nyx had had a few extra things to add to her attire before she had deemed herself ready to attend. She traveled not in a limousine like some of the richer attendants would be arriving in. No that she didn’t travel in a limousine at all. Coming up behind a limo that slowly pulled away, Mara’s jet-black Escalade Limo rolled to a stop and was thrown into park. The back door opened and Mara stepped out from inside, ducking down and standing straight. Her black platform heels looked to be extremely hard to maneuver in, but she handled them with grace. In her hand she was holding a simply silver mask on a short stick. Her outfit was a `short black-and-silver dress with an attached sheer train and a black stand-up collar`. Her hair was mostly piled on top of her head in elegant curls, black feathers stuck in her hair.
She wasn’t quite alone, though. There was a man with her, and the vampire smiled as she waited for him, but her gaze swept to the pair that had arrived before her. . . a human and a vampire. Both female. The vampire girl was walking slightly behind the human, and Mara’s smile faded the slightest bit as she tried to figure out what was going on there. It was an odd sight, seeing a little vampire playing pet to a little human. Either that vampire was some kind of fucked up, or that human was just a bad ass. Mara knew not who either of them were, so obviously they couldn’t have been that important. The human had an invitation, but that was no great feat: they had been passed out like candy to anyone who had been able to meet up with one of the Countess’ guards. Mara had just happened to have one because she was part of the Blood Dynasty. She was going out on limb bringing a human as her date, but this masquerade party was all out of fun, so who was to judge her for bringing along a little date?
“Well. . . this will be much fun, will it not, Michael?”
To say she was enamored with the young male was a bit of an overstatement, but she had taken to him. He was nothing like her former lover Kalum, but there was something about him nonetheless. Perhaps she was just hoping to get another taste of his blood, or maybe she really did enjoy his company. It was yet to be seen, and Mara herself was not quite sure. Whether or not she was just denial, not even she knew. Or would admit to. The door to the Escalade was closed, and the driver pulled forward to let the next car pull up. Mara took Michael’s arm and led him toward the entrance of the Countess’ manor, making it easier for the guards to realize that he was with her so they didn’t get any trouble. The only thing that stood out about her black-and-silver attire was the sheer train: it wasn’t silver nor black, but a deep crimson color, allowing the guards to know that she was part of the Dynasty and should be left alone. Mara wasn’t sure how she was going to behave when the were’s began to arrive, but she would just have to make due.
“Miss Nyx.”
The guard at the front greeted her with a shallow bow and Mara returned the gesture with a half-curtsey, reaching out with one hand and letting the guard take it in both of his. She nodded to him and then pulled her hand back and moved a strand of hair behind her ear, slipping an earpiece into her ear. It was small enough not to be noticed, but she had a few loose strands of hair in front of her ears to hide it anyway. This was in case the Countess needed to communicate with her, but she didn’t want anyone else to catch wind that she was taking cues from Amoura. Brushing past the guard with a flashy smile, Mara Nyx continued to lead Michael into the ball room, where the part was taking place and where only a few guests were standing for the time being. More would undoubtedly show up as the night progressed. Mara wasn’t sure why Michael had agreed to come to this, but she didn’t much care, either.

Charming ...aren't I?
A masquerade party. How long had it been? This wouldn't have been my first but let me tell you that it's rare to have an event like this in America. And every time I'd gone to one of these here in Europe it was usually for some lucrative opportunity requiring the creative use of a letter opener and a glass of champagne. There's... many advantages going to one of these. Suiting up and donning a tuxedo allowed you to conceal many an item quite easily whilst keeping in style and wearing a masque helped prevent people from identifying you by sight alone. But I guess the most important prop you could bring to shindigs like this was your partner. I can tell just by meeting her that she probably didn't allow many people to call her by her first name...
... and I can tell just by being awake that there were enough vampires and supernatural beings to turn this place into a hunter's wet dream -- already I can feel the curious thoughts of Twilight demons tickling the back of my head -- damn Edward Cullen.
It was rather obvious to him -- Mara no doubt had her own coven and he'd known full well what he was agreeing on coming to and she didn't need to spell it out. But his thoughts were his own -- never to be shared or stolen even from demons whom were rumored to have appeared again. He was not weak-minded... and yet they continued to try to take something -- anything from his mind. And so rather than having to hold up a mental barrier all night he'd send probing minds away by broadcasting some lust for his date. Mara looked the part and her long legs were exposed so any male would definitely agree. And if that weren't enough then censored images of memories they'd had would be all the evidence to send even an ancient away quite convinced that this male was a simpleton.
... it had been rather short-notice, in Mara's own words there was a "Pretty little party being held by a friend with a bunch of other species showing up and that you were not to harm them." Of course, she had needed a date to bring to the ball and he got the feeling she'd been rather attached to him ever since their first encounter... be it by him alone or having become enthralled with that extra little something that enriched his blood. She could have quite easily brought along one of her little pets... to begin with, Karel didn't make it a point to date any vampires and while they weren't an item to speak of, they'd already done things socially that even couples would hesitate to even speak about.
"Mara..." he replied, sliding his hand down her waist as their Escalade Limousine pulled in. Not a no or even a yes -- she'd offered to be his host this time round and he'd come along to be a part of this rather unique experience. As they climbed out their apparel could finally be seen -- 'Michael' was wearing a black suit, plain silver vest, with a deep crimson tie to match her theme and a plain silver mask to complete this duo. The slight of hand shown by the guard that greeted Mara failed to escape him but he played the part and feigned ignorance as they were greeted by a gorgeous ball room. She was right in thinking he had his own agenda... but not every visit was one of business. He had stilled himself for pleasure...and aside, what possible risk could a room full of the supernatural ever pose to him?
"You have interesting friends." he remarked, backing her as she led him by hand, fingers entwined while his free arm lingered at her waist. A good night -- young, still, and very much the virgin.

Excellent. More, and more were arriving! Soon many others will file in to enjoy this wonderful evening. The weather was perfect, the music was soothing, and the ambiance was so uplifting! Some had dates, others brought friends, but The Countess stood alone in her own corner, watching the world go by. For a moment, her thoughts trailed back to Vicious, and a soft sigh escaped her rouged lips. The two didn't get too close, but in the end, she regretted not expressing herself. If she had, things might have changed...
"M'lady?"
Elizabeth shook her head, and looked at her bodyguard, "Huh? Oh, 'tis nothing. Please, go and have fun, I will be alright."
David nodded at her, and disappeared into the thickening crowd, leaving Elizabeth to sink into her thoughts. Rather than staying there, she walked through the crowd, greeting some of her guests with a smile, and took a glass of champagne from the table. She was never one for the drink, but she did have to put on a good impression to those who were unaware that the hostess was a vampire.
Right finger pressed against the device she wore, and she looked towards Nyx, This event is turning out better than I thought, m'dear. Enjoy the evening with your date, I shall be wandering around should you need me. The spidery digit left her ear, and she began to walk towards another table holding chocolate delights. No one took too much food, which means there should be plenty to go around for the evening.

The party had begun and Matthew was fashionably late as always. He was never too fond of being on time; in fact, he had never been on time for anything in his entire life. It was just not in his nature, but that was more then likely his families fault. Growing up in the British Royal Family had its perks, but it definitely didn’t teach you some of the values that others found valuable. Still, with or without him, the party was going strong. The ballroom was filled, almost to capacity. Everyone in the room looked very elegant and wore extravagant masks. It looked like a scene taken straight out of a booked or movie based hundreds of years ago.
The party had been going for some time when Matthew Corvinus walked through the hallways and into the ballroom. As he entered, a few people close to the entrance way peered over towards him. The young vampire was dressed very nicely, wearing all modern clothing. He had dress pants and a casual-dress shirt on; both of them black and from a high end designer label. Matthew was also wearing a white gold, gothic style necklace. He wore a simple mask red mask with black trim; it covered only his eyes and nose, and was held up on his face by a small, black string.
The young vampire looked around the crowd as the few people who had looked over at him went back to what they were doing. As he stood there, one of Amoura’s body guards approached, a small device in his hand. The body guard stopped right next to Matthew, and moved his hand toward the vampire, handing him the device. The youngling took it, placing it in his ear and then motioned for the body guard to leave. As the body guard left, Matthew placed his hand to his ear and then spoke,“I apologize for my tardiness, my lady; looks as if we got a good turn out though.”
As Matthew spoke, he began to walk into the crowd, wanting to mingle with some of the other people there. They were all creatures that were beneath his superior being, but there might be a suitable pet for him in this crowd. That would make the young vampire very happy. It had been a very long time since he had had a pet that would do his every bidding and be there to feed off of whenever ever he wanted to feed. The simple thought of this made his blood boil as he continued deeper into the crowd.

Heinrich walked into the entrance doors, he was dressed in a military uniform of World War 2, a German SS Uniform but instead of the idiotic symbols of the once dictator regime they where replaced with the Von Weil symbol, a snake curled around a sword. At his side was a military silver saber. Black polished military boots clacked when he walked on the stone surface, his hands where covered in black leather gloves. Heinrich took his hat off tugging it under his arm and walking into the room, he was disgusted already at the smell of non-vampires. But then again he had nothing else to do this evening. Heinrich didnt new much of the hostess, he heard rumors here and there about here but never found anything solid.
He looked around seeking the one he was looking for, he made his way through the room, swiftly and gently sneaking through the masses. He crossed infront of his target blocking her way. Heinrich clacked his heels together and made a slight bow while taking Elizabeth's hand and kissing the back of her hand "A pleasure to meet you mylady" Heinrich got up to his full size, medals shinning from his chest "I am Count Heinrich von Weil, at your service" he clacked his heels once more and made a nod with his head. "As I can see you have a rather modern sense for party's in the form of your guests" he looked at a few human and raised his eyebrow. He turned his attention back towards Elizabeth.

( Remove the fancy belt, replace it with a darker shade of red. The flowery pattern along the parting aren't there, and the white under-portion is black)Elizabeth pretty much avoided the crowds, taking a count of most of the species here, or at least a general estimate. Geesh, the city was swarming with unclean vermin! The mere thought of having to be a hostess to them was unsettling, but at least it was for one evening. Her hands wove together, and rested in front as she greeted more guests with a false, charming smile. One good thing about the masks is that it disguised how she was truly looking at everyone.
However, her facade instantly melted when a male, a fellow vampire, took her hand and kissed it. A part of her wanted to slap him across the face, but then she remembered that it was indeed a custom from days long past. So...at least he had manners. With a small smile, she grasped some of her dress, spread it out, and made a slight curtsey, "Pleasure. I am Countess...Ethelia."
Giving out her last name might stir suspicion.
"Indeed. However, it would be impossible for most to enjoy themselves if it were from the olden times, Count. Back during our time it would have been simple to select the finest attire from your wardrobe, and you were set. That's not the case in this era, I fear."
Do not worry, Matthew. Enjoy yourself, but I do want a basic count of the vermin here. Once you have a general estimate, do what you wish for the rest of the night.
Mental links were handy when facing someone.
"I trust you are enjoying yourself, Count?"

He looked at her and raised his right eye brow. "Well Countess Ethelia, under certain circumstances I am enjoying myself, even my personal direction for enjoyment is more In a good battle or war with enough bloodshed" he walked a little bit closer to her and spoke in a lower voice "And I was referring to your guest not about the clothe, In my days there where no such MIXED balls as it is here today" Heinrich made sure to put a evil sinister tone behind the mixed to make his point clear where he stand towards other races besides his own. "but then again with time comes change" he softened up a little bit while his attention was caught by a female with a black masked that was gold trimmed and feathers around it. He turned back towards the Countess "And as you can see I dont hide my appearance behind a mask either, I was never font of hiding things" at the last statement a big grin appeared on his face showing his fangs to reinforce his statement. Heinrich to a look around the room noticing several guards here and there "I hope you do not mind if some of my officers attend as well" he made a slight bow while asking the question. This was a fine party Indeed, maybe a midnight snack will present itself later. Heinrich just smiled at the Countess

"Aaaah," Elizabeth nodded at him, and lowered her voice, "oh, trust me, Count, I have my reasons for hosting a mixed ball." The charming smile of her slowly twisted, shortly revealing that she clearly had sinister plot in mind, but that faded as soon as it appeared, "Though, it seems to me you are also among vampires who..." The female trailed off when a werewolf in human form walked inside, bowed to her, and joined the others. "...despise the weaker species." As much of a statement as it was, it was also a question.
"I hide my face for a reason, Count von Weil. I have...many enemies you might say," she smirked. For some reason, her old Hungarian accent began to spill from her tongue, but it was promptly fixed, "The more guards the better. I trust you will hold back your instincts until the night begins to draw to a close."
For a moment, she eyed the others around the room to see if they had enough space to prevent anyone from overhearing, "Though, I suppose I could trust you with my true name, sir, since you clearly are a friend and not a foe. While I'm at it, I could offer a...position in a revived group."

Heinrich looked with interested at the arguments and statements presented by the Countess. An offer in a revived group? "And what would this group have that would interest me to join?" he asked her. He looked around to make sure no one was watching the exchange between the two "But Countess with the right goals and funding's the BlackHand who are under my rule are surely willing to follow if the goals of such two party's are of the same interest" He picked up a glass filled with blood of one of the waiters walking by, he took a short sip of it and returned his attention to the Countess "The BlackHand are a rather unique military army, lead by vampires, followed by humans" He emptied the glass and put his right hand on his chest "Of course they only serve for one thing, total domination over this pathetic and weak vermin that holds control over this world for now" he said while making another slight bow. His hand patted the holster of his Luger "And we have a remarkble firepower to offer with our service of course".

What wondrous company the Count turned out to be! This party turned out better than she expected! With a dark smirk, she listened to him, her interest growing with each passing second. "Excellent..." Spidery digits wove together, as if though she had something sinister in mind,"...wonderful. I love this already! I shall now inform you of my group..." Elizabeth's eyes flashed towards the partygoers, and lowered her voice,
"First off, since we both seem to have the same tastes in certain areas, I will give you my true name: Countess Elizabeth Bathory." A small chuckle vibrated from her vocals before continuing, "The group I lead is known as The Blood Dynasty coupled with The Court of Thirteen Bloods. As of now, including myself, we have thirteen strong vampires leading a powerful council. Each member has something to contribute, as do the rest of my highly trained guards."
The female gestured towards one of them, who was standing still by one of the doors, his eyes never wavering from the main entrance.
"They are perfect in many ways. They expect the unexpected, know how to fight, and everything that is necessary. Perhaps...we should unite forces to further strengthen our race? I...despise werewolves for past actions. Are you allied with them?"

Heinrich pushed the emblem of his ring down, it made a short clack and then it jumped back up. He was interested in this Council of Thirteen, he had heard rumors of hidden allegiances in Europe when his father reigned over the BlackHand. "Ahh Werewolves, well I would not call it allied but rather befriended in the terms of science, my scientist take a great interest in studying the anatomy and new techniques to killing them" his face slid off as the remark of uniting "Well as longs my men are under the command of me and my officers a unification would be possible, of course there is the question of the position I will hold in this regime of yours".
Just then 10 vampires dressed the same way as Heinrich stepped through the doors, each one spreading out and taking up positions near the walls of the hall to oversee the activity's of the ball. "Well to much security never hurts, I also have a small SURPRISE in case the party gets out of hand, only 10 minutes from here." he told her. The 50 human soldiers lead by Markus will make sure thing of any retaliations. "So tell me more about who else is on this Council"
