When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ She was aggressive once more to his words and he couldn't help but allow a small smile show itself. "Ah, but isn't there also a saying that inside the room, all is well. But seen from outside, all the problems are plain to see. You speak of how people can't tell you what to do. So that means others have tried before. That would make you a minority, granted it gives you the impression that your view counts. Majority opinion will the overall opinion, don't expect me to back down simply because you don't like being told the truth." The area was beginning to quiet slightly, the doors of clubs opening across the city, this area not being a good club area, more residential. "I mean I don't give a shit what you do. It's your life you're wasting, not mine. But I'm allowed to give an opinion, a right you can't deny."Remaining on his self made chair, he listened to her as she verbally bit his head off. She took it all very personally and it was clear she was insecure. This only made Urjasz more confident about the points he was putting forward. "Fine. You don't want to listen to reason. You stay alone so people won't know of your problems. I can read between the lines. So why don't you just kill yourself? I mean, what purpose do you even have on this planet? You don't know love, you only know pain, yet you try so hard to avoid anything that'll bring you pain. But you're running from your shadow; the pain is a part of you. So you can't fight the past, so you can't run from your past. But it's inside you, eating away at what's left of your soul. Your life consists of simply existing. What a waste of such a beautiful gift."His words were sharp and cold; the true resentment of her wasted life showing in his words. Even Daktari had tried to have a purpose in his life. "I have a friend who has just lost her best friend. Does she run away? Does she avoid any contact with the world? No. And she's not even a fighter. Far from it in fact. You could probably loose her in one of your paws. But she is stronger than you. Because she lets people help her. Ok so you can survive on your own. Good for you. But what's the fucking point?" She continued to argue, this time about the origins of the name she had given, and still seated, he was quick to argue his point. "You set yourself up for that one. Do not give a fake name if you can't handle it being quizzed a little bit. I'm constantly asked where my name originates from. Because I don't insult people's intelligence by giving out fake or adopted names."Even though she was becoming more obviously aggressive over the course of the argument, she had not yet attacked. This meant she was trying to out argue him first. Something which Urjasz did not intend to happen. Should she attack, he was prepared, his hand at the ready, his weapons in reach. "I already stated that I travel myself, having just returned from Moscow as a classic example. I myself am Polish, do you see this land around us being called Poland? No. But the fact that you had a home once, for more than a century like you so tell me, proves that you are no true traveller. This is you trying to get away once more. You lived in one place for as longer as I've lived, yet in that same time I imagine I travelled more. Do not proceed to tell me that I can not judge when you lead a similar life to mine. It is sometimes easier to see fault in others than yourself. But I don't need to look hard to see yours."

darling it is no joke, this is lycanthropy. the moon's awake now WITH EYES WIDE OPEN. MY BODY'S CRAVING, SO FEED THE HUNGRY. NOCTURNAL CREATURES ARE NOT SO PRUDENT. THE MOON'S MY TEACHER, AND I'M HER STUDENT. THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN THE CLOSET OPEN UP AND SET HER FREE ---------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN YOUR CLOSET. A WOLF IN DISGUISE
Sophia was getting incredibly annoyed with this wolf. It was becoming increasingly apparent that this man wasn’t about to give up in telling her that she wasn’t happy. How did he know? He was basing his assumptions on false observations and was determined to be right, when in all fairness he was absolutely wrong. Sophia was as happy as she thought she could ever be. She didn’t need of the stuff Urjasz was telling her she needed. The she-wolf wasn’t going to change for this man. She would change for no man, woman, or creature. It mattered not that if she would get over herself she would notice and understand that what this man in front of her spoke was true and that it was logically sound. Velvela—the creature she was now—was hard-headed and stubborn as a mule. Sophia was beginning to realize that this wolf wasn’t about to give up this fruitless endeavor to get her to see the error of her ways. Urjasz had no right to preach to her and to poke holes in her own life. If she was content with it—no matter how much this man saw otherwise—then what he needed to do was shut the fuck up and leave her the hell alone. She getting frustrated and angry and she was no longer going to stand for this atrocity.
Enough! she snarled furiously. I am no longer entertained with this banter! I will not stand to be ridiculed by the likes of you! My life is my own and I shall do with it what I like and there is nothing you or anyone else can do to stop me! If you will not leave me alone, I will be forced to put you in your place. It matters not what kind of weapons you may carry on you or how much fighting experience you have, I will put you down! Sophia was in a rage, and adrenaline pumped through her veins, initiating the fight or flight response, and Sophia’s response was always fight. There was little that Sophia was afraid of, and the man could shoot her if he wanted to. She had been shot so many times, and her thick hide was enough to make it feel like a bee sting, not matter how much internal damage it was actually causing her. Her pain tolerance was high and she barely noticed injuries now. She felt them, but she could easily ignore it to get through a battle. Here in front of her was a threat, and she snarled loudly, fangs bared before lunging for his throat, jaws agape and ready to tear at his flesh.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ For the first time in this "conversation" she did not speak back to him, she listened to everything he had said. This was not to last. As she blasted him with her insults and reasons, he began to see a change in challenge. No longer would she allow him to try beat her through the spoken word, it would be strength alone that would win this battle. He wasn't afraid of her; he'd killed bigger before. And now he had a new power to test on her. A power he'd seen help Daktari beat a notorious vampire elder. "Typical. You can not win the battle through words so you will try to use your size to take a victory from my hands. The lack of reply clearly shows that there is no logical reasons to argue with. Empty threats do not scare me. You don't scare me. Why should I be afraid of someone who can't handle a bit of truth thrown at them?"Remaining seated, despite her new and clear intentions, he knew that his best chance would be to use defence only. But not in the respect of winning. No, he felt he could win in direct combat. However, his words seem to do as much harm as any blow could, and if he was to give the impression of hardly trying they would hurt even more. Underneath his skin a new layer of hardened skin was forming, ready for the first blow. All the training, all the practice since; it would come to this fight to prove he was ready to use it. She had already made a fatal error; giving him time to prepare. "So what are you waiting for? Put me in my place. Hide behind your violence as if there is no problems that chase you like the prey you are." Placing his hands on the edge of the box, he leaned forward slightly, looking her directly in the eyes. Years of combat had taught him that you could predict their first move through their eyes. (Additional note - the eye thing exists in real life, it's the first thing you're taught in martial arts. Well at least the Kung Fu I did lol)

Empty threats do not scare me. You don't scare me. Why should I be afraid of someone who can't handle a bit of truth thrown at them?” Urjasz replied. Sophia snorted and closed her jaws with a loud snap. She was through explaining herself to him. He could think of her how he wished to, but he knew nothing of her and she could not be grouped with these others that he has come across. He came off as an arrogant bastard. Sophia herself was no less arrogant, but she tried to maintain her own life style, not try to convince others that they needed to change. She was very upset with this wolf. Lifting her head to come to full height, Sophia met the other wolf’s gaze evenly and did not break that contact before she pounced straight at him. It was no simpler than that. From a seated position, he could move left or right. Up was not an option when Sophia was so close and so large, and backward brought an unyielding wall. He for sure could move forward, but he might as well have been charging a freight train.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Instead of replying with words, she replied with actions. Rising up, she attempted to frighten him with her size once more. Within moments she was crashing down towards him, the distance between them short and her speed fast. He had chosen his spot carefully, the wall behind making her choice of direction limited. With a quick spinning kick he kicked the crate aside and he dropped to his feet. Lodging himself in the base of the wall, he shielded the sides of his head with his arms. There was a flash of light and his body became riddled with large bone spikes. He made no attempt to leave the position he was in, waiting only for the force that would hit him. There was no way of avoiding injury, but he intended to do more to her. She would soon learn not to fuck with him.

A WOLF IN DISGUISE His only move was to kick the crate he had sat himself upon and curl into a ball. Of course, it was hard to miss the large spikes that he had covered himself with. Sophia paid them no mind as half a ton of pure muscle and supernatural strength bore down on the dwarfed man. In order to avoid injury to her chest, she pushed off the ground with her paws and twisted her body to the side, slamming full-force into the younger werewolf. Skin and fur yielded to the bone spikes but did not slow her momentum. The bones at best would cause blunt force trauma and the bruises were already forming, though one had split her flank open and the stench of fresh blood filled the air. However, between the brick wall behind them, the half-ton of supernatural power, and the spiked man, the wall held for few split seconds, but then the brick collapsed and a hole was created in the wall. Sophia dug her paws in and stumbled lightly, but she kept her footing. With the man’s crouched position, she could only assume that he would not have had the purchase necessary to keep from being thrown a few feet.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ She did not slow despite the spikes clearly shown. It was an experience he had rarely encountered as he would normally avoid being smashed into. It took his entire strength to stop her from crushing him to death, the wall behind slowly giving way. Most of the spikes had simply skimmed across the skin, but one had found its way into her flank. Even if he wanted to pull it out he couldn't and the wall was about to give way. Knowing that he had little choice of direction this time, he extended the end of the spike into a mace like shape, the points facing back towards him; the skin it had already punctured. The wall gave way so quickly he barely had time to think all this through. He was lucky to of had a few seconds as he expected the wall to give way instantly. Her weight pushed the two through it and all he could do was roll backwards, getting crushed as he did so. But her own weight had been her weakness; he had been forced to pull the embedded spike from within her. Stumbling to his feet, he reacted the spikes and waited for her next move.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ His internal strike did little to slow her pace, like a sting to a giant. There was little time to think over what to do next. Unlike before when he had the conversation to prepare, now he was truly fighting on the spot. The only time he could prepare an attack with plenty of time was an attack he did not wish to extend; one hit to kill. This wolf would take far more than one hit. Claws and teeth were at his face the moment he was on his feet and he did what anyone would naturally do; shielded his face with his arm, allowing it to be bitten instead. The pain was immense, her power more than he could of imagined, but immediately he did another natural movement; trying to get her the fuck off. On both sides of his arm grew sharp tongue like shapes which began to hammer at the inside of the the wolf's mouth with bone like claws. Each hit grew stronger, determined to finally reach the brain. SOPHIA CORA HUNT → THE MOON IS AWAKE, THE MOON IS MY TEACHER AND I AM HER STUDENTNOCTURNAL CREATURES ARE NOT SO PRUDENT THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN THE CLOSET ← Her jaws found the man’s strong arm in the stead of his face or throat, but she could deal with that. Her teeth ground at his arm and pulled on it forcefully. If he was going to give her a limb, she was going to rip it out. Her front claws continued to tear at his chest, rending his shirt to threads and finding their way to his flesh, and then she slammed her paws down on his chest to pin him and she wrenched her head back, trying to pull his arm straight from its socket. How long was an arm? Three feet? Two and a half? His was surely closer to three and a half, given his height and the information that your wing span was very close to your own height. Sophia was seven and a half feet tall when her head was up, so with her paws on his chest and her head snapping up to pull his arm free, there was quite a bit of a gap. She was at the part where she had met resistance, the tendons fighting to keep his arm attached. Sophia pulled back and back, testing her own strength against his body’s, and then something hit the inside of her mouth. Her jaws clamped tighter around his jaw in response, the muscles tensing with surprise.
The she-wolf’s first reaction was to rid the things from inside her mouth. She twisted her head and crunched down on the objects, meeting the same resistance as she normally did when crushing a person’s skull. With twice the power of a Nile crocodile’s bite she bit down. Considering that these bone fragments were part of his body, it couldn’t feel too nice to have them crushed in her bite radius. Sophia continued to work at tearing his arm to shreds, catching the bone fragments between her teeth whenever she felt one against the sensitive inside of her mouth. Then, suddenly, she hopped up with her hind legs and pulled her weight off her front paws as her back legs came down. . . a thousand pounds of weight was about to slam down right on top of the male wolf’s stomach. The damage in her mouth was irritating, but Sophia was the type to ignore her limits until her body stopped working. So long as her muscles continued to work, she would keep going. The mouth healed faster than anything on the body, and Sophia already healed fast.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Pain. It had been so long since he'd known this amount of physical pain. She was surely intent on tearing him limb from limb and had her heart set on removing his arm first. Inside his arm the muscles and tendons were being stretched to their limit. But now, despite the savagery of her current assault, he know had what she had tried to keep from him: time. Sure it was limited, but it was more than she had given him before. Had he encountered her a few again, victory would of surely been in her favour. Her size alone made her a true challenge, the odds were against him from the start. Blood, this time his, was mixing on the floor with hers and flesh was being torn from his body. Bones began to crack and true pain revealed itself to him. What he had felt up till now was child's play; now the pain was so bad it almost cancelled itself out. Yet, through coughs of blood, he began to smile. A smile which turned to laughter. Still tore at him, still he laughed. Louder and louder. She kicked her back legs up, proving that she was agile as well as strong. His time was up. Any mortal would be dead as soon as they came down. But he was an immortal. It was as if time stopped, but it was not to be. "And now....." He did not finish, his actions finishing his sentence. Pulling himself up with all his might, he swung his body around onto her back, his arm still in her mouth. Bone grew from his arm in an attempt to get her to release it, growing in size until she would let go. With a swift movement of his free arm, he pulled a silver hunting knife from within its sheath in his coat and began to stab at her back. Eventually he stuck it in deep and twisted it. Letting go, he held on tight, trying to find his other pocket. Inside was his medical kit and a little surprise.

SOPHIA CORA HUNT → THE MOON IS AWAKE, THE MOON IS MY TEACHER AND I AM HER STUDENTNOCTURNAL CREATURES ARE NOT SO PRUDENT THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN THE CLOSET ← Sophia remained unperturbed by the man’s laughter. She had seen people do many strange things in the face of death, and if this was his way of coping, then that was fine with her. At least he realized what kind of trouble he was in now. Perhaps if he begged she’d let him go. . . . Of course, he wasn’t ready to give in just yet despite the fact that his arm was a little more than minced meat. One can only assume that by twisting his body in order to get up onto her back would have rendered his arm shattered and useless, as it was still in her mouth and Sophia had no intention of letting go of it. His arms started to expand and unlike a snake, Sophia’s jaws could not detach from their hinges. She held on for as long as she could, probably causing quite a bit more damage to the limb she had been intent on destroying completely, until finally the appendage was wrenched from her jaws. As soon as they were free, Sophia jumped about madly like a bucking horse. However, her tactic changed as soon as she felt Urjasz stab her with something. As soon as that blade stuck itself in her back, Sophia let her legs buckle and she twisted as she fell, landing on her back and on top of Urjasz, unless he decided to abandon his endeavor and get off her.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ His arm had become rather useless, but he could heal it in time. Even if she had torn it from him he could of grown it back. However the blood loss would of been the main threat. The pain was great it was almost a discomfort now. Now he wanted to at least even the score a bit. His blade made his determination clear to Sophia, but she quickly began to buck. He could only hold on for so long but as he went to let go, she buckled underneath, turning to land on her back. Placing a syringe in between his teeth, he rolled off, his arm screaming out in pain as he landed. Knowing time was short, he darted forward and stabbed the syringe into her wounded flank. Pushing the end of it, he injected her faster than he should have. Twisting and pulling out the knife, he moved back quickly and came to halt. "I've injected you with silver nitrate. It's not enough to kill you. But it's my torture dose."

SOPHIA CORA HUNT → THE MOON IS AWAKE, THE MOON IS MY TEACHER AND I AM HER STUDENTNOCTURNAL CREATURES ARE NOT SO PRUDENT THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN THE CLOSET ← He had chosen the more intelligent move of getting off of her before she could crash down on him. Sophia transferred her downwards momentum into a roll as she hit the ground, landing on her shoulder so that gravity helped her. She shoved off with her shoulder muscles and forced herself to her paws. The massive werewolf barely noticed the small pinprick in her flank, but she turned and opened her jaws wide, but he darted backwards. Sophia did not stop, even though Urjasz thought that he had time to speak. If you have time to speak, you have time to attack. He was moving back and Sophia was following him, keeping on top of him. While he was attempting to explain what he had done—why explain? Let them figure it out for themselves. He was in a fight. There was no room for lectures in a fight—Sophia bore down on him and threw herself at him. They were in a room, and there was little space to move in. Sophia’s tackle undoubtedly would send the pair through another wall—flimsier drywall was the makeup this wall so it would give instantly, instead of taking a second like the brick outer wall had.
Then the pain started. It was like her veins were on fire. Sophia’s tolerance for pain was incredible, but the small amount of silver in her veins was a pain she had not yet come across. She had been cut with silver and shot with silver, but this was new. But it was just one more thing to add to the list of things that had failed to kill her. Urjasz himself had admitted it would not kill her. But Sophia was not going to stop until this male wolf was dead, ran away, or if she died. He had injected her with a torture dose? Sophia’s entire childhood had been riddled with torture. Snarling with defiance—her entire mouth was now enflamed as the silver reached that part of her body, blood dripped more easily through the wound on her flank and now it saturated her entire leg and belly fur—Sophia tried to get her fangs around any part of Urjasz’ body that she could. Face, neck, shoulder, arm, chest, it mattered not. Sophia didn’t need syringes or poisons or weapons to win a fight. . . she was perfectly capable of tearing a man asunder of her own devices.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Heavily underestimating her determination to kill him, Urjasz was forced to retreat back as he spoke, slashing the knife whenever she got too close. Yet again he was having to discover his surroundings as he moved. Another wall, however this time he was blessed by the builders. A door. As his back hit the wall, he quickly moved through the door, knowing she was literally on top of him. Teeth and claws were close behind and the walls were not going to stop her. Only his medic kit, knife and an empty gun were left. He may of come dressed light but he had everything he needed. And should it not be enough he could always use brute force. He had killed other wolves before. He had killed a hyena bigger than her. She was nothing. But only a fool would stop and take her on head first. Cunning would defeat her strength. Now running, he was smashing through doors and making his way through the building. He needed to give the silver time to work its way around her body and in a rush he opened the medical kit, grabbing a few items from it before throwing it back at her. His arm was still pretty screwed up, the main reason he hadn't shifted. However it was beginning to heal. All he needed was time, something he didn't have. One of the items he had pulled from the medical kit was a gun clip. Fully loaded, he pushed it into the gun and swung round. Coming to a halt, he fired the entire thing into her. She was so close he could not miss. Being ran into would suck like hell but it would be worth it; each round had enough sedatives in them to take down an elephant. She would either overdose or pass out. He didn't care which.
