SOPHIA CORA HUNT → THE MOON IS AWAKE, THE MOON IS MY TEACHER AND I AM HER STUDENTNOCTURNAL CREATURES ARE NOT SO PRUDENT THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN THE CLOSET ← The door’s existence proved to be Urjasz’s saving grace. He fell through the portal, but Sophia burst right through the frame. She might have been massive, but she wasn’t wide, as she was able to squeeze through without causing much damage to the door frame. The silver running through her innards made her feel like her blood was made of fire, but she continued on, losing a bit of her gain when her wounded leg buckled, but she quickly collected her balance and continued, staying as close to her quarry as she could with him running ahead of her, busting down doors to escape. She was gaining quickly on him, slowing when she hit a door wrong—the screams of people in the building pounded against Sophia’s ears, but they were not her concern at the moment. Something that looked like a box was tossed over Urjasz’ shoulder and it hit her square in the forehead. She let out a surprised yelp of pain and skittered slightly, but she regained her balance and continued on, unfazed by the blood she was now coughing up, and the blood dripping from her forehead from where the kit had smacked her.
Click. Sophia’s ears pricked at the sound, but she continued on, tongue lulling from her mouth from the running and how hard it had become to breathe with the silver working through her respiratory system. But who needed to breathe? That’s what Sophia thought as Urjasz started to slow and turn. Sophia snarled, blood staining her muzzle and chest from the blood welling in her mouth—the wound on her forehead had already closed and healed up—and the first shots fired out. They knocked the wind out of her and felt like the equivalent of a human being shot with a paintball wearing no pads, but her momentum carried her and she crashed into the stalled Urjasz, her teeth fastening firmly around his shoulder and clamped down with enough force to snap his clavicle—collar bone—and even fracture his scapula—shoulder blade. Her leg buckled again at that moment and she collapsed on top of him. She was exhausted from the healing her body was trying to perform and the ravaging her system was getting. Her own stubbornness would not let her stop and though the way she had landed, her jaw had been pulled from Urjasz’s shoulder. She continued to try to stand, her back leg refusing to work now.
Though managing to stand, Sophia foolishly attempted to put weight on her bad leg and she fell to that side, but she was quickly up again, trying to decide the kind of damage that she had to Urjasz by falling on top of him. He had known the dangers of stopping to fire at her, but Sophia had merely meant to run him over, not fall on him. Oh well. Hopefully he would be a pancake now. Her vision blurred—an effect from the narcotics held within the bullets and she shook her head. I will. . . take you with me, mongrel, Sophia growled, projecting her thoughts into Urjasz’ mind. Her jaws fell open and blood dripped copiously onto the ground. Her fur was matted in several places from various blood and liquids from the fights, bits of drywall stuck in her pelt. What used to be a luxurious dark-colored fur was now dusty and bloody. She looked on the end of her ropes, but still she stood, determined not to falter until her quarry was dead or begging for his life. Her mind hazed and she shook her head again before snarling and fastening her teeth around her own leg. The pain sent another burst of adrenaline through her system and cleared her mind. She was not going to sleep. She would die before she fell asleep in the middle of a fight. You coward. . . you would put me to sleep and finish me off while I was inebriated and vulnerable? she declared angrily as she leapt at Urjasz for another attack.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ The round went quickly and she was even quicker getting to him now he had stopped. Throwing the gun away he put both arms up to defend himself like before and spikes grew from his arms. But this time he had a weakened arm and no footing. It was simply a small measure to minimise the pain that would come. And fuck did it. She slammed into him, her head passing the arms and biting into his shoulder. It was a pressure he had not felt in some time, the only thing rivalling it was getting bit by Daktari when they were dicking about. As if time had slowed to a minimum, he slowly began to fly backwards, his feet sweeping up from underneath him. Blood and dust flew up with him, and not just her blood. Going down hard, blood spurted out from his mouth as he landed, a few ribs inside snapping. A punctured lung was the last thing he needed right now. She was off him, hopefully with a few stabs to the throat after the way she had bitten him. He was in too much pain to check. Undeterred, he began to try pick himself back up, using his bad arm to clutch his chest. There was no need in wasting his good arm on it. Blood was all over his chest, mainly from his mouth. Teeth now covered in his own blood, he looked like the survivor of some train crash. It might as well have been one. Picking up his knife as he got up, he staggered about as she did, only to get a message implanted in his mind. Spitting blood onto the floor, he stood his ground, knife at the ready. He would die before giving up. He watched her bite herself, knowing that she didn't have long. All he had to do was make it through it. "I take no glory in killing someone asleep. You will not be harmed when you sleep. But I might take a bit off the top." He motioned to her tail with the knife and smiled briefly, only for the pain to kick in. She lunged for him once more and this time he charged at her. There wasn't much space between them and as she neared he twisted to the side and thrust the knife towards her side. Putting all his weight behind the blade, he held it as she passed him, hopefully cutting down her side. Eventually the knife got caught and he had to pull it out to avoid being pulled down. Returning to his stance, he staggered slightly, blinking heavily as his own pain was turning into a sedative. "You rely too much on strength. Not everyone follows the old rules. If I can get you with this stuff, someone else can." Knowing that his time to kill her was running out, he was trying to do damage control. He knew she could turn up any time in the future and he needed to minimise any future damage. A follower of the old rules, he didn't like using these methods but there was no way he could match her hand to hand.

SOPHIA CORA HUNT → THE MOON IS AWAKE, THE MOON IS MY TEACHER AND I AM HER STUDENTNOCTURNAL CREATURES ARE NOT SO PRUDENT THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN THE CLOSET ← “I take no glory in killing someone asleep. You will not be harmed when you sleep. But I might take a bit off the top,” Urjasz replied once he had gained his own footing. Sophia coughed up more blood and it spilled to the floor. She was never one to take the word of a man to heart. What reason did he have not to kill her? She had already all but mauled him and attacked him viciously. His response to her attack was a wimp’s attack, poisoning her in a brawl. Since when had the world become so underhanded and cheap? She missed the good old days where people would maul you back. This man was a werewolf. He should act like one. However, he did surprise her when he returned her charge with his own, but it seemed like a kamikaze mission. Did he really expect to win? It was like jumping in front of a moving semi. The answer came when he quickly moved out of her way, and then she felt more pain going down her side—the side that was relatively uninjured. The silver was making it hard for her blood to clot, so it spilled from the gash as she stopped on the spot and whirled around to face him again, the movement making her stagger.
So he’d figured out that running from her wasn’t going to help. He seemed like he wasn’t going to be standing much longer, either. Now it was just who’s will was stronger? She liked to think hers. Sophia was stubborn as a mule, and it was why she was alive today. She just refused to die. However, the fatigue hit her like a ton of bricks. The sedatives and her sleeping disorder weren’t mixing very well with each other and she looked felt like she wanted nothing more than to lie down and close her eyes and sleep for about three days. The blood from her wounds had slowly started to ebb, but she was still standing. It was against everything in her being to fall asleep in front of an enemy, but now it was slowly starting to become something she couldn’t control. She took a step toward him and her front leg buckled this time, making her land on her chest. The rest of her body followed and she slammed to the ground on her flank with a slight yelp. She should stay down, but she got back up, heaving her mass to her paws before taking another step forward. The massive werewolf looked like the walking dead with how much blood she was covered in. Yet, still she stood, tenacity personified.
“You rely too much on strength. Not everyone follows the old rules. If I can get you with this stuff, someone else can,” Urjasz so kindly informed her. Sophia just snorted and bared her fangs defiantly at him. The old ways, you say. There is nothing wrong with it. People have grown lazy this day and age. People rely on technology too much. I can guarantee that the pain I am going through now is nothing like the pain that you are going through. Broken bones, internal bleeding, shredded arm. . . and what did you do to me? You stabbed me with a syringe and that was not even enough to kill me. My ways might be messy, but they’re just as efficient and more deadly. Had I played by your ways, we would both still be in that alley way and hiding from each other’s bullets. That is a coward’s fight, and one I will not partake in. I will not die from being shot at a distance. I will die bloody and with the taste of my foe’s blood, Sophia replied, her entire body shaking from the effort to stay standing. Her eyes were growing heavy, but she blinked away the tired and managed to growl. Her body refused to cooperate and she couldn’t even take a step forward anymore. She just knew that if she tried she would fall over again, and she refused to fall and look pathetic. She was going to ride this out for as long as she could—her intimidating demeanor—before the narcotics were finally able to down her.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ God he wanted his sword right now. One on one he believed he could take her if he had that sword. Too long had she relied on her own strengths to add new strengths to it. There was truth in what she had said but he knew if he did that he'd be dead for sure. Survival over honour. It wasn't a system he liked, but he would not die because it was the honourable thing to do. For who to see? If he died alone in the back of an alley, no one but her would ever know. One day he'll die. Not today. Not tomorrow. A day of his choosing. If she was true to her life style, she wouldn't stay around here too long anyway. He had to survive a few weeks at most. Tonight he had been unprepared. Next time he would not make the same mistake. All he had to do was make it out of here alive. He would not run. He was no coward. He would see it through until she was on that ground. Watching her struggle to keep up, he knew she didn't have long left. However she made it clear that she would not forget him. And she would get him. "Hiding in an alleyway? I think you forget, I walked straight into it, straight past you. Sat in the open. Yes, hand to hand, you would defeat me. But I shall not die by your hand. If you stay stuck in the past, then those of the future will be your undoing. A good hunter will use anything available to get that kill. You want me to follow the old rules? I could cut your very head off as you slept and claim I defeated you in battle. Only I would know. You want to taste my blood before you die? Here." Flicking his bad arm, he sprayed her face with some of his blood. "I will win tonight. Because if you stay to finish me off, you are betraying your life you defended for so long back in that alleyway. You will run away. Like you always do."It was clear that he was making a mistake by taunting her so, but she was blind to his logic. Granted his methods would not be approved off in the past, but she was wrong to believe he was a bad fighter. Had he been bad he would still not be standing. He was doing a better job at it than she was. "You are right. I'm am injured. I have wounds that would kill a human. You got stuck with a little syringe. But it is I who gave the killer blow. Tonight I have been the closest thing to a friend you'll ever know. You will be alone forever. Even after death. I shall return to my friends. I will heal. I will carry on with my life. You are just a battle I survived. To you I will always be remembered as the one you couldn't kill. I will not run from you. I will not flee the battlefield. I will watch you drop. And then victory is mine."

SOPHIA CORA HUNT → THE MOON IS AWAKE, THE MOON IS MY TEACHER AND I AM HER STUDENTNOCTURNAL CREATURES ARE NOT SO PRUDENT THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN THE CLOSET ← Sophia snorted and turned her head away. Her fur started to bristle with fury again and she took a step forward, willing her legs to work. They were shaking, but she hated this man’s attitude and she refused to let him win. The sedatives were being sifted through by her system, and all she had to do was fight it until it wore off. Her body temperature was higher than any normal animal’s, and it would burn through the narcotics rather quickly. If she could stay up, fight the grogginess like she did every single day of her life, she would be able to carry on. She was not going to fall asleep and risk the night terrors, the dreams. . . . Or perhaps. . . . No. No! It was out of the question. She lowered her head and bit her leg again and her mind cleared. No. I will not fall. I may not kill you, but I will not fall! I am above all of you! I will always be on top! Sophia declared dramatically before forcing herself forward. Neither of them had much left, but as far as Sophia was concerned, he had cheated. In a fight, it meant victory, but if he was proud of himself after it, he deserved to be shot in the back.
Before Sophia reached him, her eyes widened and she stopped to cough up more blood before swaying an collapsing on the ground, falling still. Her chest heaved as she took labored breaths in her state. Her bleeding had finally stopped altogether, but her fur was too saturated to hold anymore so it was pooling on the ground underneath her. A few more drops of blood dribbled from her mouth, but otherwise there was nothing about her that hinted that she was awake. She wasn’t dying, as her system was filtering through all of the bad things in her body—the silver and the sedatives. The silver was all but gone now, having been expelled by her copious amounts of bleeding. She would be fine with some rest as her body was already fighting to replace her blood with fresh blood. Sophia was a fighter. Stubborn as a mule and she endured things that no others would be able to. She was too proud to let herself go down easily.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Finishing speaking, she listened for majority of it being trying to make her way towards him. Only moments left, the most dangerous moments of the fight. Her determination could cause her to make one final fatal attempt. He didn't care that he had used modern methods to take her down. She was wrong to stick to the past when the future could take her down so easily. Her arrogance showed in her final statement, the fear of loosing in her voice. Like he had said before, she would never get over a loss like this. Years of being unchallenged and now a wolf she thought she could just take down had bested her. Not without the consequences though. In a final move she made her way towards him and he began to do the same to her, knife at the ready. Before they met though, she dropped to the floor. He had made it. Holding back for a moment to make sure she was surely down, he gave her a few kicks to the side to make sure. Swinging the blade around, he made his way to behind her and placed his foot on the base of the tail. Realising that one cut wouldn't do it, he began to saw her tail off, the knife crunching on the bone slightly as it got half way. The skin and flesh moved easily, the bone was tricky. She'd get it back eventually. Placing his knife in his side pocket, he went to her flank but passed before drinking her blood. It was normally practise to recover from his wounds by drinking the enemies blood, but he had put so much crap in it he'd put himself in more danger. She would wake up before him and wouldn't think twice about eating him alive. With a groan, he turned and began to make his way out the building, the fight another tally to add to the "survived" list.

SOPHIA CORA HUNT → THE MOON IS AWAKE, THE MOON IS MY TEACHER AND I AM HER STUDENTNOCTURNAL CREATURES ARE NOT SO PRUDENT THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN THE CLOSET ← Not a single movement came from Sophia, except for the rise and fall of her chest as she breathed. Of course, there was a tad bit of movement from Sophia when Urjasz kicked her, but that was only because her body wasn’t solid as a wall, so her flesh had to yield to the blunt kicks. There was no twitch from her for the longest of time. Even as Urjasz stepped on her body. The knife he pulled out connected with her tail as he started to saw. . . . Sophia’s eyes flashed open and she kicked out with her hind legs, the blow aimed for his head and chest, likely to knock him backwards and if not unconscious, then stun him long enough. Sophia snarled and thrashed about on the ground until she made it to her paws, growling and looking about as if she was unaware of where she was. Snapping her jaws shut, she whirled around and snarled before bucking with her hind legs like a frightened horse. She didn’t say anything, she didn’t even seem to notice Urjasz as she stood there, twisting and snapping at invisible foes before tilting her head back and letting out a tormented howl. Once she had stopped for a second to look around again, still growling, eyes open and yet. . . she wasn’t awake. After a second of stillness, she snarled and snapped once again at an invisible assailant.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Leaving had been the intended plan. He got as far as going for the tail and deciding not to drink her blood before it started to play up. He had barely put the blade to the tail before the back legs kicked out. Given the choice between cutting the tail or diving to the side, he didn't even hesitate to decide. Straight to the side, he just avoided the kicks, but he set off the pain from the existing wounds. Looking about he had dropped his knife and he avoided bites and slashes before picking it up. Keeping it up, he sat down in a corner and watched her attacking the world around her. It was a side effect he'd never seen before. Had he known that she had sleep troubles he wouldn't of been so worried. However, a kill through drugs was not one he would pride himself on. It was as good as poisoning someone as they slept. The blank look in the eyes wasn't new to Urjasz and he could tell she wasn't in control. Unsure if she was awake or not, he decided not to test it. She continued to attack the unknown forces around them and he began to nod off. Looking to the exit and back to her, he sighed. He knew it would be a massive mistake but he wanted to make sure she was ok. His arm was beginning to mend itself now it had a chance to and his ribs were already shifting back to their normal shape. Inside, his ruptured lung and squashed organs were regaining their strength and shape. Placing his knife in its sheath, he held his arm as he watched, deciding to wait until the drugs wore off. An animal her size should sleep it off soon, especially as she had bled half of it out. He was also curious if she would return to human form in her sleep.

SOPHIA CORA HUNT → THE MOON IS AWAKE, THE MOON IS MY TEACHER AND I AM HER STUDENTNOCTURNAL CREATURES ARE NOT SO PRUDENT THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN THE CLOSET ← Attack. Pause. Lash around. Attack. The pattern kept going for a little bit as she was attacked by her memories. The few sawing motions against Sophia’s tail had awakened a memory that had not been too pleasant and had set off the night terror that was terrorizing her in her sleep. . . . She was back in the basement with her older brother and he had managed to swipe a kitchen knife while their parents hadn’t been paying attention. He had her tied to that god-awful chair, and as he moved closer to her, she quietly begged him to leave her be. “Brother—brother please,” she pleaded. He merely smacked her before putting the kitchen knife to her arm and started to slice. . . . Sophia yelped and twisted around, knocking against the wall and cracking the drywall before she bounced off and staggered to the side, blood smeared against the wall. She bucked around a bit more, trying to rid the world of her demonic brother once and for all as she snapped and lashed about, once or twice coming very close to hitting Urjasz, but always landing just short. Then, finally, her luck ran out as she charged a wall and crashed through it head-first. Sophia had busted through walls before, but she was always awake when she did it and paying attention. . . this time she was not in the proper positioning and she collapsed, but continued to growl and twitch until several moments later, when the dream ended and she fell silent.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Even in her sleep she had to fight something. It just made Urjasz believe his own words even more. She was running and fighting when she could of had a better life. By now she had been doing it for so long that she had forgotten the joys of the other life she left behind. Watching the walls more than her, he barely glanced back in time to see her snap her jaws just before him. Had he seen it before he still would of had nowhere to move. Yet again she hit a wall and this time she went down. There was a shudder in the building around them and he could hear people screaming and fleeing. The door to his side kept calling for him to leave too but he wouldn't just leave her here. Like she had said, she wanted to die in battle. There was no way that he would sit and watch her die another way by his hand. The next few moments would be moments he would no doubt look back at and wonder what the fuck he was doing. As soon as the first brick fell before him, even before he had healed properly, he was straight for her. Around them the building was beginning to crumble after the damage given to it. Grabbing her by shoulders, he wrapped as much as his arms as he could around her and began to slowly drag her. She was incredibly heavy and with his injuries it was no easy job. The wall around the window crumbled and he decided it was the best route. Literally seconds from collapsing, the building was not going to wait for him to retrace their steps. As the building gave way above him, with a burst of energy he threw Sophia's body across the ground, more sliding than a throw. In a cloud of dust he suddenly disappeared.....

SOPHIA CORA HUNT → THE MOON IS AWAKE, THE MOON IS MY TEACHER AND I AM HER STUDENTNOCTURNAL CREATURES ARE NOT SO PRUDENT THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN THE CLOSET ← Darkness surrounded Sophia. Even her dream had finally subsided. When she woke she wouldn’t know what had happened or what her dream had even been about. She never remembered her night terrors. The nightmares were the ones that kept her awake at night, made her hate sleeping, and had been why she had tried to stay awake as long as she could when Urjasz had stuck her with that needle. However, as Urjasz uncharacteristically heaved her massive girth outside—their fight had left the foundation of the building unstable—while the building around them started to collapse. She let out a pitiful whimper as Urjasz’s arms tightened around her, trying to get a firm hold on the one-thousand pound beast. Her flanks and legs dragged across the ground, leaving another trail of blood along the ground, but it slowly sloped off and stopped. When Urjasz slid her across the ground, she rolled once and was stopped by a large dumpster. Another little whine escaped her jaws. Mostly it was from the remaining thoughts about the dream, some of it was because she as in pain, and some of it was. . . well no that was it.
It took several minutes, but she eventually woke and glanced around, still lying on the ground. Slowly, she realized that the building had fallen. Lifting her head, she slowly lifted herself up and stumbled once, the drugs still bothering her and effecting her motor skills as well as her mind. Shaking her head to try to clear it, she looked around for the other werewolf. Wasn’t she inside the building when she’d passed out? Had he. . . why? Sophia looked around. He was nowhere to be seen. Had he left her there to handle herself after dragging her lifeless body out? Sophia lifted her head and sniffed. There wasn’t anything to indicate that he had left. No trail. Sophia was a brilliant tracker, and she could tell that he was still in the area. Her head turned to the pile of building. How many people had been able to escape before it had collapsed? Her head tilted to the side and she walked over to the ruins, dust still in the air. She sneezed once, then started to paw at the debris, nosing giant chunks of drywall to the side and clawing more out of the way. Had he been crushed?

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Hell. He was in hell. He must of died and gone there. His arms were pinned down, as were his legs. And fuck did his nose itch. Like insanely bad. His eyes hurt, there was something in them and he was finding it hard to breath. It took a moment to realise that he wasn't dead. And it took half that time to wish he was. Trapped under a building with an itch that'd kill. With a wolf that wants to kill him outside it. Things weren't looking for good. And to make matters worse, the angle he was at meant he could see the door he kept looking at earlier. As if it was gloating that he should of just left her. She'd be dead, he'd be fine. Inside the wolf within was happy she was alive though, the true nature of the wolf never giving way for the modern methods. Try as he might, he couldn't move out. He got to enjoy waiting to starve to death. Thinking. One thing Urjasz never really bothered with was now the only thing he had. He didn't intend to die tonight. No one would know he had died here. He'd be missed sure, but it'd be left at that. And the fact he would die saving the life of his enemy, who'd of seen that coming? He sure as hell didn't and he was in danger of becoming a good person! Was he getting soppy in his old age? And the scary fact was he was still fairly young in the immortal terms. 500 had been Zakhar's target and Urjasz kind of wanted to make it there as a tribute. That was out the window now. As his thoughts went over all this, he could hear and feel the rubble moving around him. She was awake and digging her way in. He couldn't feel his knife in his pocket so there wasn't much he could do. She had been asleep. The moonlight hit as the rumble fell aside and he closed his eyes, waiting for the fatal blow.

SOPHIA CORA HUNT → THE MOON IS AWAKE, THE MOON IS MY TEACHER AND I AM HER STUDENTNOCTURNAL CREATURES ARE NOT SO PRUDENT THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN THE CLOSET ← Sophia wasn’t particularly sure why she was digging around for the guy. Curiosity, mostly. Was he dead, alive, crushed? Why had he risked his own life to safe her when only moments before they had been attempting to kill each other? It didn’t make sense to her. She would have left him without a second thought and she was fairly certain that he knew that. Yet. . . he still had carried her out. That couldn’t have been an easy thing with her weighing so much and his one arm being almost useless. She pulled more rubble from the pile and worked her way through, nosing things aside and sniffing at the wood and drywall, trying to find the man she’d been attempting to kill several minutes prior. Finally she found a concentrated scent of the werewolf and she scrabbled at the debris, pulling more and more away until she cleared most of it off of him. Sophia stood to her full height and looked down at him, her head tilted to the side. How easy it would be for her to tear his throat out right then. However, she was better than that. She placed her paws against a large hunk of drywall and shoved it off Urjasz’ left side, then she looked at him for a while. She couldn’t pull him out without hurting him.
However, she wasn’t about to change into her human form just yet. This was just too big for her human form. Instead, she went through and pushed all of the debris off him until his body was free, then she sat back on her haunches, panting slightly. You are alive? she asked, her head tilted to the side before she lowered her head and started to draw her tongue across her chest in order for her to clean herself off. It would be a pain in the ass to be walking around in her human form covered in blood, and this was a much easier way to clean herself off. She was homeless, so she didn’t exactly have a warm shower waiting for her anywhere. Occasionally she would use the fountain in the park to clean herself up, but that was only at night and in her wolf form. She just preferred it over her human form. Sophia wasn’t sure why she was helping Urjasz now, but despite being a hard-ass and stubborn and wanted to be left alone, but she wasn’t going to just turn around and kill a person who had saved her life. An eye for an eye. As far as she was concerned, they were even now.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Waiting, he kept his eyes shut, wanting the wait to be over. What was taking her so long? Slowly, he opened his right eyes, which soon opened fully along with his left, blinking in an attempt to get dust out of his eyes, both watery as his eyes burn from the blinding pain. She was at full height, which he could only assume would mean she would come crashing down full force on him. Despite now partly out of the rubble, he was still pinned down. A sitting duck. She pushed aside a large piece of drywall and then looked down on him. It was as if she was deciding how to do it. It wasn't like she didn't have all the time in the world, he wasn't going anywhere fast. Having made her mind up, she began to move towards him and this time he watched her. If he was going to die he would watch it. To his surprise she continued to remove the rubble around him until he was free and he was even more surprised when she sat down calmly. Rolling slowly to his side, he pulled himself out of the hole and began to crawl across the rubble, his skin covered in dust and blood. Wiping his eyes free of dust, he didn't speak until he eventually made it to the edge of the rubble. Looking up at her from a prone position, he spoke with no emotion. It had simply been drained from him. "I'm alive....yes. As are you. I told you.....I wouldn't......kill you. Where's.....the fun?" Giving a pathetic attempt at a smile, he groaned in pain as he looked down upon his body. It would take a while longer to fix these injuries. "You should go. Humans will be here to find survivors. You'll be hunted more than ever before if they see you like that."

SOPHIA CORA HUNT → THE MOON IS AWAKE, THE MOON IS MY TEACHER AND I AM HER STUDENTNOCTURNAL CREATURES ARE NOT SO PRUDENT THERE'S A SHE WOLF IN THE CLOSET ← He pulled himself from the wreckage and she shook her head. Do not rub your eyes. It will make it worse. Believe me, she advised bitterly, not being mean though her tone suggested it. How many times had her brother tossed sand into her eyes? It had taken her one attempt to learn that rubbing her eyes wasn’t going to make them feel any better. You just had to let your eyes water and be carried out on its own. If you rubbed your eyes, you risked scratching them up and causing bad damage. Of course, he wasn’t human so the effects would be reversed eventually. However, she said nothing more about what had just transpired. There was no need to rub it in his face or thank him. After all, her thanks had been the return of his own life. Now that it was all done and over, she saw no reason to bring it up again or address it. It was what it was, and he had already told her why he had saved her life without prompting. No need to ask now. All that was needed was to move on.
“You should go. Humans will be here to find survivors. You'll be hunted more than ever before if they see you like that,” he in return advised. Sophia scoffed and got to her paws, glancing around. I will go when I wish to. I care not if anyone sees me like this. Yes I’ll be hunted. But I will not be around long enough to be found by more than a few of them. If they do not see my human form, then I am safe for the time being, Sophia responded walking further down the alley and disappearing around a corner. She rummaged through some trash piled up a few allies down, and then found the clothes she had stashed, returning a few long moments later in her feminine form, pulling her long black hair free from her leather jacket. “See? The problem is solved. I can’t expect that you’ll see me around, but now if you do you’ll know who not to talk to,” she muttered before turning away toward the entrance of the alley. “Do you need further assistance or am I free to leave?”
