Ara smirked slightly. This was when clairvoyancy came in handy. She might not be able to actually read her mind, but she could definitely sense a glimpse or two of the things going around in her head. So, she like the word extraordinary, did she?
"Well, Sarah," If that is you're real name... "What about extraordinary? Does that word better suit you and me...?" She only said this to see how the girl would react. Ara wasn't a telepath, no matter how much she wanted to be, but she wondered if that's what "Sarah" would think of when she called her extraordinary. Only one way to find out.

[[Same here. I’m way behind on my Nano.]]
Isi’s eyes opened wide before they returned to their former position. There was only one word that came to mind, ‘mind reader’. “You’re… you … you can read minds.” Isi replied with her permanent frown on her face. This was a surprise. What was inside Isi’s mind? The girl probably knew everything. She tried not to think. But what would this girl say if she knew … knew about - - - Isi wasn’t going to think it. Then she would have to take this girl out. “Are you a hunter?” Isi asked boldly. If the girl could read minds and if she lived outside the box she would know of the others. If she was a supernatural supporter then….

Ara only nodded slowly when she sputter about being a mind reader. Well, at least this girl was smart enough to figure that part out. But then her thoughts fled everywhere. Total panic and she was trying to not think about one thing in particular. But that couldn't save her forever, and Ara was just going to wait for her to slip up.
Then, the question. Are you a hunter? Ara smirked then, which was the most emotion she'd shown on her expression throughout the whole conversation. She nodded again. "I'm more of a loner. I only kill the ones who attack me first. What about you, Isi?"She smirked. After digging the whole time she finally got to the girl's name. Ara wasn't all that good at deciphering memories, but she was working on it. Other than her name, though, she hadn't gotten much.

“Hmm.” Isi muttered to herself at the thought of being outsmarted. It just killed her when the girl said her true name, Isi. Isi then got serious and instead of saying a reply, she thought it. ‘If you can read minds then you know I kill everything in-between.’ Isi thought of several incidents. One, she had murdered a mother/father and teenage child vampire who were doing nothing more than living an extravagant life and minding their own business. Isi had only caught wind of them because the father had purchased extravagant amounts of blood and the clinic he is said to run did not exist. It wasn’t hunting. It was genocide.
Then Isi thought of another incident. These vampries were more evil. They were actively killing and they had several humans which were willing to go along with their deaths. Isi had killed the vampires and then the human servants for helping. She had even gone so far as to kill the innocent children of the human servants who were forced against their will to be blood donors. She had done far sinister things in the name of righteousness and justice. “I suppose you know what I’m going to have to do next.” Isi replied in a calm and caring voice. Isi was going to have to kill this woman. She knew too much about Isi to live. Perhaps she knew where she lived, her safe houses, her other aliases. Isi was by no means nice. She did not value human life. Her goal was to kill vampires, werewolves, not to save humans. This hunter would find her wicked. Most certainly.
[[Grr. I'm still way behind.]]

Ara watched her thoughts like a movie. Her life was way more interested than hers, and she was jealous of that. But, she was way more violent and more of a murderer than Ara was... that part she didn't care for. But at she least she was not bored like Ara was. Ara leaned back in her chair, her eyes closed for a moment as she watched them, and her eyelids snapped open when Isi spoke again. I suppose you know what I’m going to have to do next.
Ara only smirked, "Yes, I suppose I do," Isi might have been good at her assassinating job, but that didn't mean she could kill Ara any easier than Ara could kill her. Isi had no idea what Ara could do, other than the mind reading. Ara's smirk was stable. If Isi wanted her dead, she'd have to catch her first. "And I give you my luck."

“Thanks.” Isi said. “I could probably use the luck considering that there are probably dozens of police officers outside the food mart.” She arched her back into the chair, rose her arms and stretched. She tilted her head to look through the glass door inside to signal the waitresses attention. She rose her hand, signaled two fingers and mouthed the word, ‘Check please’. She turned to face her companion at the table.
“I’m surprised that you haven’t tried to talk me out of it.” Isi said matter of factly. “Most people would give me a bunch of reasons why I shouldn’t kill them.” And it is almost a shame to kill another hunter. She smiled as the waitress came over and gave her the bill. She left it in the table. Isi opened it when she was gone. She reached into her hand wallet and began to pull out the proper amount of money.

Ara only kept a little smirk on her face as she called the waitress over. Isi was right, there probably police crawling all over this place. And come to think of it, Ara could name a bunch of reasons not to kill them. But she knew not to bother with it. From Isi's memories, it was clear that once she wanted someone dead, it didn't matter what excuse you came up with in your defense. This should be fun, she thought to herself. She'd never made an enemy with another hunter before, and just the thought of it made her smirk brighten a little more. She was always up for a challenge.
"There's no point in trying to convince you otherwise," she said simply, standing up with her. "And I have no reason to stay alive other than revenge, but it seems that you will most likely get rid of them for me. The only other thing I find intriguing is meeting fascinating strangers... like yourself." Ara left her own money beside her half-empty iced tea on her table, and then waited to see what else Isi had to say.

“True enough,” Isi replied as she pulled out two twenties. The first bill more then covered the tab and tip but the second one was also a tip. “You really should get yourself another hobby aside from meeting strangers.” Isi replied as she stood up and grabbed her cell phone which was on the table. “While you have enough time, that is.” Isi could have just hopped over the railing since it would only take a few seconds but she chose to walk inside and then out the door. In ten seconds flat she was outside, she aimed her fingers like a gun and pretended to shoot Ara. “I’ll be seeing you.” Isi said. Though nothing could stop Ara from following Isi down the street.

Well, if this new acquaintance of hers thought that Ara would just let her leave, she was crazy. Ara left her money on the table and turned to see the girl pointing at her. I'll be seeing you? That's it? Ara thought for a moment, and then followed Isi down the street. She walked beside her and looked her over. Just by the way she was moving it was obvious she was a hunter. Of course, it takes one to know one. A normal person who Isi passed by would have no idea, but to Ara it was impossible to miss. She wondered why she hadn't realized it while she followed her from the crime scene.
"So, what are you going to do now?" Sure, Ara was a telepath and could just go digging through her mind to pry out the answer, but she felt like asking, to break the silence if for no other reason than that. Not that she expected Isi to actually answer the question, at least not directly. But it was rare that Ara got to actually talk to another hunter, and she honestly had no idea what her reply would be without cheating with her telepathy. But she only used her telepathy when she suspected someone of lying.

“Why do you care?” Isi replied as she walked back towards her car. She noticed Ara, her ‘fellow hunter’ walk by her side. This was quite awkward. To have the person you were trying to kill follow you. Since it was the middle of the day and due to the fact that there were cops in the store settling the robbery and questioning witnesses Isi couldn’t gun down Ara in public. The last thing she wanted to do now was gun down someone in public. Isi had made that mistake with the pink haired vampire. She had tried to gun the girl down but only got innocent people. None were hurt too badly. Only one was shot in the leg. Most of the damage had been done when the pink haired vampire grabbed umbrellas from people cowering from the rain and bashed them so hard that the umbrella physically snapped in half!
“I’m going to get my car and go grocery shopping.” Isi did not know why someone bothered to talk when they could read minds. She saw a bunch of yellow tape over the store windows from the distance, also used to keep the crowd at bay. The glass from the window was gone. There were several people off to the side talking to the police. Isi saw the woman holding her two children who were huddling. Isi remembered them because they were the last people she saw before she decided to run. She had heard the gunman, saw them as she ran out. Isi promptly turned the corner, swearing in her mind. Surely they would have be gone by now. Alas they were not. Isi had to turn the corner because surely everyone remembered the redhead who ran out. Isi swore in her mind. But it had been a decision between life and death and Isi chose life.

Ara just followed her, sneaking into her thoughts every once in a while just to get a glimpse of her ideas of how to kill her. Then she hesitated a moment, "Hm... Guns plus public just equals trouble. I suggest you find a more suitable way of getting rid of me." Now that Isi knew she was a hunter, she wasn't worried about her personality making her suspicious. She hoped that Isi might show a glimpse or two of her true colors also. Any hunters and slayers she came across always had interesting personalities, and she didn't think Isi and her personality would disappoint her.
So, grocery shopping. Ara didn't mind grocery shopping. And whether Isi liked it or not, Ara was coming with her. If she was going to be added to someone else's most wanted list, she was going to need to know everything about her. Ara was a telepath.... So what? That didn't mean she could dig into memories like it was piece of cake. Memory digging was difficult, and Ara wasn't perfect. Definitely not when it came to her special abilities. She hadn't known about them for too long, and she still hadn't gotten completely the hang of it yet. She was working on it.
Ara just smiled at Isi, but it wasn't a warm smile. It was kind of a quirky kind of sneaky smirk, "Well, I'm going with you."

“Are you now?” Isi replied as her hands shuffled into her pockets. ‘That should make the woman nervous’, Isi thought. If Isi was Ara and it was Ara with her hands in her pockets, possibly on some weapon, Isi would have been nervous. “Have you ever tried to kill someone with a crow bar?” Isi asked. “I haven’t. But I assume it would be awfully hard. Not to mention, there would be blood.” Isi loved her guns. Killing was quick and easy. But every now and then there was the urge to rip a knife through living or unloving flesh. A day dream of Ara strapped naked to a metal table in an abandoned warehouse flashed through Isi’s mind. She sincerely hoped Ara could see it. She grinned as she walked the next block over.
The shop wasn’t as big as the other one had been but Isi did pick up a little shopping basket. “Hmmmm, are you a health food fanatic?” Isi asked. She could not stand healthy foods. Why eat something that tasted like cardboard? – It wasn’t like she expected to live until a ripe old age. Her main staple foods were chips, chips, chips and more chips. She also loved ribs but this wasn’t a meat shop but a small grocery store. Isi picked up several gallons of soda: orange, cola, root beer and sprite. Isi walked to the counter and placed the drinks on the counter since they were getting rather heavy in her arm. She began to look about and picked up dressing for the chips and some beef jerky.
[[Alright, so Lynette is going to turn Isi into a vampire. How shall we continue? Would Ara hunt Isi? I think Isi is starting to like Ara. xP]]

Ara smirked slightly. Despite what Isi was thinking, she had no worries as she shuffled her hands around in her pockets. So, there could be something dangerous and murdering and terrible in there. It was nothing she couldn't handle. Have you ever tried to kill someone with a crow bar? She smiled at that thought as she went on to explain. The day dream that Isi conjured up about Ara only fascinated her more, and enlarged her smirk.
"No, actually, I haven't. But it sounds entertaining enough. I prefer daggers myself," she admitted. She had nothing to hide. Isi was a hunter like herself, an enemy one perhaps, but she didn't mind sharing any information with her that she might be interested in knowing.
Then she asked about health food. Definitely an interested new acquaintance. "No. Just get a bunch of junk food. I hate vegetables with a passion."
[[Well, she won't hunt her. Maybe track her down and fight with her for the fun of it. But if Isi attacks, Ara will definitely fight back ^-^]]

“Well, maybe I feel like health food!” Isi said as she put in super unhealthy sticky snack cakes in the basket. “Besides, I never said I would invite you over to watch TV with me!” Isi tried her best to not think of her home by the forest in a nice, rich, private part of town, outside New York. She would not think of the address. Nor how to get there. Instead, Isi concentrated on the fleet of chocolate and strawberry snack cakes. She added them all to her baskets. As a hunter she burned a lot of calories.
“So, you like getting up and personal with them?” Isi whispered so that the nosy shop owner could not hear what she was saying. Of course the shop owner did not care about their conversation, only to make sure that they were not shoplifting any items. But if he was to hear the words like, ‘daggers’, ‘guns’, ‘vampires’ he might just call the police. No, he definitely would call the police. Especially after 9/11.
Isi wandered the aisles placing random things in her basket. She could use some ketchup and frozen fries. But she was still biding time. Hopefully the police would be gone soon. How long could they stand there questioning people who had nothing to say?
[[Alright. Heheheheh.]]

Ara smirked slightly and lifted up a back of sticky, fruit-flavored candy Isi has put in the basket. Then he looked at her, "Right, because everyone knows that yummy little cakes are extremely healthy." She thought a moment as she pictured herself in a house with Isi, watching TV very awkwardly. She smiled at the thought. Unlike most people, Ara actually liked seeing other people's discomfort in awkward situations. "Actually, that might be kind of fun. Have you ever considered watching TV with another hunter? Might be interesting."
She looked around for snacks of her own, and grabbed a bag of lollipops off the top shelf. She would have put them in the basket and make Isi pay for them, but so far Ara wasn't too far away from Isi's good side, and she intended on staying on that somewhat good side. She looked like she could be dangerous if she wanted to be. But lollipops were all Ara wanted, so she just carried them rather than grabbing a basket for herself.
So, you like getting up and personal with them? Ara smiled as she said that. "Yes, I enjoy hurting their feelings." If playing with her vegetable and stabbing them repeatedly with her knife was considered hurting their feelings, then Ara hurt their feelings all the time. After that there was silence, and Ara wasn't very good at ignoring thoughts, especially when there's no one else talking. So she wanted to get back to the crime scene. But Ara knew that might take a while. Police, as stupid as they may be, have to make a very thorough investigation of the crime scene before they let the citizens back in. They probably interrogated every single person in that room before letting them go home. Good thing Isi was able to run off before they got there.
