"I'm not brave... You completel me bbydoll. I've said I would do anything for you... I'll be here for you always... I meant it. It never matters to me what I might have to do to keep you safe and bring you back. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. You're everything to me darling."

Hiro meant every word he told in all honestly. He was as sincere as could be and the sparkle that lifted from her smile into her eyes was as gorgeous as ever. It made his heart skip a beat. Aside from her absolutely perfect personality and love, this was why he wanted to be hers so very badly. The very few times he'd seen the look in her eyes that was anything but sad made him realize he wanted that look to ALWAYS be in her eyes. And he wished more than anything to be there to give that to her.

"I swear Miss Era... that twinkle in your eyes gets me every time. I remember... as far back as our days in london... I'd wait every day hoping I would see the princess in her window with a smile and her eyes bright as the sun." Hiro kissed her cheek and nuzzled against her neck. "I couldn't have imagined I'd ever be staring at them for myself face to face. I love you so much my heart will explode it will."

The vampire wanted to do anything to keep that smile back on her face. It had taken quite some time to get her to smile again and actually feel she meant it for herself. He conveniently disregarded her question about him bleeding. He was alright after all. But if she saw the terrible terrible scars that littered his arm now Era would surely grow very sad. Hiro made sure to keep his left arm under the covers with them and didn't dare mention it. She was getting happier again, he couldn't ruin that.

"And I'm alright bbydoll. I promise. I wouldn't lie to you." Hiro nibbled on her lower lip. "Would I?"

Listening to Hiro she gave a small laugh as he nibbled on her bottom lip she kissed him gently, even though she wanted to say that he might lie to her, she couldn't "No...you wouldn't lie" she said softly she with a smile. "Well I guess you're just very lucky then" she laughed lightly and kissed him again.

"Well I think your brave...if not a little silly for offering me your neck" Era said gently before nuzzling his neck showing her love for him, she stayed pressed against Hiro she wasn't seeking comfort she just loved being in Hiro's arms because he was comfortable and made her feel very safe.

Hiro felt as if she was just a tad bit less than convincing when she admitted he wouldn't lie to her. It hurt him a little to hear her tell him that and not seem like she meant it. Or maybe she did, but just wasn't sure if he would or not. Hiro knew there had been a few terrible men in her life at least.

"No gorgeous... you can trust me... I promise I can't lie or keep anything from you. I love you heaps much."

It killed him inside to think he ought to apologize for what he did to himself. She would find out eventually when she saw his arm sometime anyhow. But Hiro just wanted to keep her happiness in her for a while longer. He bit his lip and his eyes darted away from her for a moment. It was pretty obvious he was nervous and hurt about something but not physically. He could always manage that kind of pain.

"Maybe I'm a wee bit silly, Miss Era... but I've told you time and time again, I want to be your everything. Even when I was wrestling with a white wolf, even with a snout full of the sharpest teeth in my face, I knew it was still you. Deep down, I could see my Era in its eyes. But bbydoll, I understand how you feel. I know it hurts more than anything to know you hurt the love of your life. Its alright though, you hadn't hurt me... I had... I'm a monster Era... Im so sorry..."

Hiro took her hand gently in his and while holding her close to his naked body with one arm, he let her dainty hand fall upon the skin of his left arm. It wasn't barely smooth anymore and there were scars that anybody could know were from bite marks just by feeling it. They felt deep, there were alot of them, and it was something anybody touching would probably be too scared to see.

"Gosh I'm so sorry Era... please... I'm alright... you're alright... don't be scared... of me... I promise I won't hurt you... I'll protect you from me... I swear... please dont be scared..."

Even though he pleaded with her, it seemed like Hiro was more scared right then. He was so afraid she would blame herself and especially be afraid of him because of what he was. Truthfully even Hiro had been scared of himself and what he had become, but like always Era came first and her well being made him think of other things instead of his vampirism. His promise to never mistreat her and protect her like a knight in shining armor from anything and anyone at all times won over his disgusting vampirism.

Era frowned lightly as soon as Hiro placed her hand on his left arm she stopped frowning and let her fingers touch the scars, she couldnt believe he did this to himself. Taking her hand from his arm she placed her hand on his cheek gently giving a soft smile "You don't nee to be sorry...and maybe I don't want you to protect me from you....because I'm not scared of you Hiro, I love you too much to be scared of you" she said softly and kissed his lips gently nibbling gently on his bottom lip. She didn't want him to protect her from himself, but she liked that he would protect her.

"Hiro....I think I have work today for a few hours..." Era said softly sounding sad at the prospect of being away from Hiro even for a few hours. But then again she didn't want to have him come to her work with her because she would be a little embarrassed by Hiro watching her being an exotic dancer, she just hoped she was waiting tables but that would mean wearing silver. "And if I do end up going to work I want you to stay here" she added she also didn't want him hurting himself by being in the sun.

"Sometimes I'd like to wonder how you can love a monster..." Hiro thought to himself, or he felt like he had let it slip under his breath but he wasn't too sure. When she put her soft hand on his cheek, her warmth made his heart melt. It felt so wonderful.

"Would you like for me to take you-" The vampire was about to ask to at least escort her to her place of employment and pick her up, but cut himself off immediately when she told him he ought to stay. Maybe she had some sort of secret at her job that she didn't want him knowing about. Someone else? No that couldn't have been it Hiro knew and he soon figured maybe her job was a little embarrassing. He hoped some day she would feel comfortable enough to let him know.

"If that's what you'd like me to do, you know I can't argue. I'm sorry I was being too overprotective again." Hiro bit his lip and looked nervous. "May I at least escort you to your work? Or to close by and pick you up there? I'll miss you but I want my lil Era safe."

Hiro never bothered to pressure her and ask her just what it was that she did for a living. He knew if it hurt her in any way he could beg for her to find another job. If she wanted to work it would be just for fun anyhow. His money could take care of her financially so maybe if it was some sort of hard, demeaning kind of work that she did he could surely get her a better fit job. One that wouldn't expose her to silver, gross men, or anyplace particularly loud on her pretty ears.

"Its fine, dear. I was getting too ahead of myself. Im apologize. I have a few errands I can attend to and keep busy while you're at work anyhow. I love you." Hiro sighed a little and smiled.

"One monster can love another" Era said gently, as he spoke she bit her bottom lip. Even if she did allow him to walk her even close to her work there was still disgusting men that hung around a pub just two buildings up from her work, but then the men there might let slip about where she worked. Even for her it wasnt a respectable job and she hated it, but it was still interesting.

Giving a smile she kissed Hiro gently "You may escort me near to where I work...because I doubt you would like where I work" Era said gently but didn't add anything else. Moving slightly in his arms Era carefully sat up "Well I doubt I'll be getting any more sleep so I might as well get dressed" she said with a small laugh.

"Thank you..." Hiro's voice trailed off but he quickly bit his lip again before a yawn escaped. He was so very beyond tired, but the boy wouldn't dare show it. He refused sleep. The most horrifying, depressing things found him in his sleep. Even if it meant getting a few hours of rest and then being scared awake for days, he wouldn't even bear with that. Watching Era die a brutal death and being able to do nothing, even just in his dreams, tore him up worse than she really knew.

"Shh, bbydoll can't you not go in today? Just this once? You need to rest..." Hiro put his arms around her gently, but lovingly enough to let her know he wanted to keep her in bed. For her own sake. He had a sixth sense for reading women and his intuition and love let him realize she still hurt. Every time he would hold her she held him back but there was a hint of a difference than usual. Her precious little body was more sore than ever surely and he knew it well. His felt the same but if anything they would admit her pains far before his own.

"I know if still hurts all over, Miss Era... please... stay here... with me?" Hiro whispered in her ear before kissing and nuzzling against her neck. "You shan't move too much today. Take it easy. For me?" A little sigh escaped his lips. "Please... I know... If its someplace you don't enjoy working... and you can't even tell me you must be embarrassed of it yes?... Where else could it be save for a club of sorts? I'd pay a thousand pounds to see you dear, any given night or two, but please... you can't be dancing like that... not today... If its the money you're concerned about, I told you. I can take care of you. It may feel weird for you, but you're a princess. And I love you."

Hiro nibbled on her neck and smiled sadly. "And if this place is too much for you just yet, we can take a break from it all. I know a few flats that can house us both right and dandy. I promise they aren't all TOO fancy for you now. I imagine i can compromise from this for a while."

There was a long pause and the vampire caught his breath. It was happening again. Even if his skin had healed, repeated exposure to the sunlight always drained his energy and left him very short of breath. He often couldn't breath and nearly lost his life from it a few times. But Hiro was in love. He wouldn't be defeated by this now.
His life was full of bargains. Taking in more blood let him heal faster, but turned him more and more into a vampire, a monster. Simply forgetting the taste and trying his best to never feed had proved easier in recent years. But not feeding deteriorated his body slowly but surely, and it had been going on for more than a simple few years.
Before Era could say anything or notice, he smiled.

"You know... Im terribly sorry I couldn't give you what you wanted earlier dear... " Hiro had a strange, but seductive look written across his lips when he kissed her passionately, pulling away ever so gently and running his tongue across her lips. "I promise... soon... when you're not hurting... you can have ALL of me... you can 'hurt' me in the most brilliant ways... you'll be the one screaming..."

"Hmmm but then they'll be short on staff and try to call me to find out where I am" Era said softly giving a small smile, bitting down on her bottom lip slightly she watched Hiro for a moment "Well I guess...if you want to you can come into the club I work in...I think it would make me feel a little more safe" she added. Leaning against Hiro lightly she shook her head before giving a soft laugh "Hiro, I don't want you to give up what you love because then it wouldn't be you. I don't want you to feel that you have to get another flat" she laughed lightly and and kissed him.

Seeing the look Hiro had on his face made her smile softly, kissing him back she placed her left hand on is neck gently "I like the idea of having all of you...but not really the hurting you" Era laughed softly and kissed him again her arms hooking around his neck. Being with Hiro was a very good reason to miss out on work, but then against she wanted to be around noise even if it did hurt her ears she would be able to put up with it.

"Hiro you know if your hurting you can drink from me" Era said softly as she kept her arms around his neck and bit her bottom lip lightly "It would only be fair" she added softly she knew Hiro might disagree with her on that but she didn't care.

"I'll speak to them. If they can't afford to let only one of their employees off for the night, I will give them twice the amount you would make during your shift."

Hiro kissed her gently and loved the feeling of her naked body laying against his. Her skin felt soothing!

"But I havn't a right to keep you from your job if you enjoy it.... no matter if I don't..." He whispered to her, the second part fading off his breath. The vampire took a deep breath and held it in for a moment. It made him feel less in pain, as if his body wasn't very slowly failing him. He closed his eyes to rest for a moment, but what waited for him on the other side of his eyelids made them dart open immediately. He looked away just for a moment before smiling and staring Era in her beautiful eyes.

"If you've changed, I can change for you as well bbydoll. It would be only fair. If you enjoyed it, maybe I can too? I won't ask you to become something you don't want to be anymore."

Hiro sighed. "But no matter what, I will still love you. I always have and will."

When Era told him she would want all of him, it made his heart skip a beat. He wouldn't have imagined she would want him in such a way. She must really have loved him and it made him feel needed. "You can't hurt me bbydoll, but I know I've hurt you." He kissed her neck. "Life isn't always fair for either of us. Never has been. But I can make yours beautiful again. What I can't do.... in well concious, is feed from you again." Hiro kissed her and smiled. "Though I hate to admit, you're absolutely delicious."

Rolling her eyes skyward Era pressed her right index finger to his lips gently with a soft smile "Then they'll have to find someone else to take my shift and that would take a while" she said softly, taking her finger from his lips she kissed him lightly. Placing her head on his shoulder her forehead resting against his neck, the pain in her body had turned to a dull ache because she hadn't moved too much "But I guess I can call in sick if I get to spend all day in bed with you" Era laugh softly as she stayed pressed against him.

The feeling of Hiro's skin against her's made her relax and almost welcome sleep to wash over her again as she closed her eyes, keeping her eyes closed she frowned slightly before smiling "No...don't change Hiro....trust me you wouldn't enjoy it...and I wouldn't want you to change anyway" she said softly before she nuzzeled his neck and opened her eyes, stopping a yawn she pressed against him more. She didn't want to go back to sleep but then it wasn't really her choice, her body would shut down and make her sleep.

"Just so you know I'm not going to stop you if you do want to drink from me" Era mumbeled lightly as she placed a hand on his left arm her fingers playing over the scars gently "I don't want you to hurt yourself" she added before giving a small yawn, so she was more tired then she wanted to be but she wasn't about to fall back alseep not until Hiro tried to get some sleep.

"If you really want to go to work Miss Era, I will take you myself, but..." Hiro sighed and stared up at the ceiling. "I'd really like my princess to just get some rest. Please? I know you ache... all over..." The vampire let his gentle hands rub her skin and massage her body a bit. His eyes slowly shifted into a deep crimson.

" I can't do anything you wouldn't want me do to, Dear. But just know I will do just about anything for you. I love you so much."

Hiro found himself nibbling on her neck again. It hurt him to realize he had been doing it for a minute or so before he came to realize it. Kissing her neck, he pulled away a bit as his fangs began to grow out.

"Please don't tell me that...." He sighed and wore a frown for just a quick moment. "I ought to have stopped myself the first time.... Please... tell me no..."

When Era let out a cute little yawn, Hiro found it so very adorable. He couldn't help but smile, even though he felt bad at the same time. He knew she wanted to sleep, her body wanted to just pass out but Era must have been afraid of the nightmares, and to a much lesser extent maybe of him too.

"Shh..... let's get you some sleep bbydoll.... you need to rest... don't worry... I'm here..." Hiro ran a hand through her hair and stroked her cheek.

Taking her head off of his shoulder Era looked at Hiro tiredly, in truth she would have liked nothing better then to pass out once again in his arms but she wasn't about to not before she could make sure he wasn't going to hurt himself when she was asleep "Hiro, I want you to...it'll make me feel less guiltly" Era said softly before she nuzzled his neck "And I'm not going to go to sleep...not until you promise me you will try to get some rest" she mumebled into his neck.

Era hated the thought of Hiro doing something to himself when she couldn't stop him, even though her body screamed for the sleep she didn't want to sleep because of the nightmares but she knew it was something she would have to suffer though even if it ment getting little sleep. Era knew the nightmares wouldn't last, she always knew there would be something sweeter or worse to take the place of the dreams.

"I love you so much Miss Era... you're my precious little princess....." Hiro's voice trailed off as he kissed her passionately. But towards the end of the kiss, he never pulled the way. Instead Hiro fell asleep, his lips still against hers. It was cute. The moment she even would try and plead with him to try and get himself some sleep, the vampire let his worries aside and let her have his way.

Hiro opened his eyes slowly when he heard a voice calling to him. Or he thought it was at least calling to him. But then he wasn't so sure. Was it even talking to him? What was it saying? Then the vampire could make it out. It was a scream! For help? Not even. It was a scream of sheer, agonizing pain. It was hard on his heart to even hear just in a dream but Hiro felt the pain all too well. It was Era's scream! He'd recognized that voice anywhere!As fast as his legs could take him, Hiro ran for what felt like forever until he stopped immediately and almost fell. Suddenly, right before him, amidst all the black nothingness that surrounded him, a single beam of light switched on. It illuminated what he didn't want to see. Era was laying in a pool of her own blood. She was no longer screaming but was wheezing and gasping for ever breath like it was her last. Hiro froze. He watched her for a few minutes and even then the girl before him never died, just stayed in such pain. Tears streamed down his pale vampire face. "Era!!!" Hiro ran to her side and held her in his arms, unable to speak. But then, what little warmth her body held faded away and Hiro could feel her getting colder and colder until finally the girl fell limp and passed away a bloody mess. Hiro screamed a horrible scream.

A short while later, Hiro's eyes slowly opened and they were so horribly sad. He had bloody tears welling up in his eyes from such emotion but they didn't run down his cheeks. His entire body was trembling and his lips quivering. The boy held Era close to him and couldn't speak for a few minutes.

"I-I Love you...." his voice was so sad.

Smiling as Hiro fell asleep still kissing her she moved so she was pressed in at his side, slowly she fell back asleep. But this time she didn't have any dreams to speak of, she was only in darkness. Sometimes Era wished she would dream other times she was greatfull for the break from the vivid dreams, frowning lightly in her sleep she moved slightly at Hiro's side "I love you too" she mumbeled half asleep.

Opening her eyes she looked at Hiro, feeling his body tremble she sighed softly, moving a little she kissed his lips gently "I'm sorry" she said softly, she hadn't wanted him to have a nightmare and she hated herself for asking him to bring it on. Era now hated herself more then she did before.

Hiro recognized her tone of voice. He knew all too well when someone hated themselves for something and felt horrible. It was something the vampire was he himself completely used to. Calming down after a few minutes, Hiro still felt his heart hurt when he put his arms around Era and kissed her on the cheek.
"Dreams are just that, bbydoll.... you're here and well... that's all that matters..." His arms around her hips, the boy held her close and kissed her neck lovingly. "Please don't hate yourself for anything.... I'll never forgive myself the moment you come to hate yourself on my accord."

Hiro slowly closed his eyes so she didn't have to see how hurt he was from the dream, but the vampire didn't blame her for asking him to sleep. Not in the least. She cared so much for him and just wanted him to get rest, just like he wanted to help her and get her rest. But right then, it didn't seem like she would be willing to let her body rest. Maybe he would have to convince her a bit. Or tire her out.

"I can take your mind off everything once more..." Hiro whispered seductively in her ear as he nibbled on her neck and slowly massaged her breasts. It almost upset him to be allowing himself to do such things to her, but at the same time he knew there was always a time and a place for everything. If it meant pleasuring her to make Era feel absolutely precious and loved, so be it he would do anything for her no matter how nervous and unworthy it made him feel.
