"I know you can handle yourself," Hiro smiled, a glimmer in his eyes. He was quite the pretty boy. "You're a right and proper princess after all." Again, he went to stare out at the city that his suite looked over, only meeting eyes with her for a brief moment before. "Its just... some nights.... I wonder if that's enough." The vampire let out a soft sigh. "It always... feels so real. I'm afraid... one day I'll wake up... and everything I've seen, wouldn't have been a dream at all."
Hiro was quiet for a few minutes, listening carefully to the thoughts that ran through Era's mind. For whatever reason, he found himself desperately searching, listening for any trace of hatred she might have for him, or the vampire that he was. But nothing came. No matter what, this lady always seemed the most lovely to him. He looked a bit happier. "I suppose its rather just this age old hatred for..." His voice immediately trailed off, the sight of her precious pale skin peeking out from behind her coloured hair. Era's neck caught his attention more than it ever should. Before he could realize it, Hiro had been staring far too long for comfort at her neck, his fangs growing in a tiny bit as he bit his bottom lip.

Era gently shifted some of his hair gently "I promise I will always be here, no matter what" she said smiling sofltly, watching as he just stared at her neck as if wondering if he could bite into her and take a deep drink. It un-nerved her slightly but she kept the smile on her face, "You want a drink don't you?" Era asked softly as she tucked her hair behind her ears as she carefully watched Hiro.
She knew if he was craving a drink from her she wouldn't say no; but then she would just let her wolf out to 'play' for a little bit just to make sure Hiro didn't get too carried away with drinking from her. Smiling Era pressed her lips to Hiro's gently "I love you Hiro" she said softly as she locked her eyes onto his with a little cute crooked smile on her lips before she stuck her tongue out at him playfully.

Hiro could feel the bit of fear and unnerving hesitation in Era when she noticed he had been staring at her neck. He shook his head a little and glanced away. Suddenly, the vampire felt incredibly horrible. Of course, nobody could blame her. Afterall, she had seen first hand what the monster in him was capable of, and how could anyone possibly get used to someone drinking blood from your neck? Even if she DID love him, Hiro would never dare ask her to let him just one more time, much less for her to get used to it being a regular practice. And Hiro knew, having cut his vampire off from drinking regularly, his lust had become somewhat uncontrollable. Every time he considered it could be Era's last.
"No, I'm alright." Hiro whispered nervously under his breath. He didn't know what to do with himself anymore. There was a safe bet placed he would soon be overrun and become a dangerous monster. Possibly for good until someone were to kill him. The thought was horrible, but he couldn't let Era know. She probably had already thought of it. He was sure he had been acting differently lately, any lovely lady like Era would have caught onto it by now. But still, Hiro knew he would either need help, or leave Era and lock himself away someplace for her safety. If the monster was let out, Era could go anyplace she wished and Hiro would still find her.
Hiro looked away for a moment, but when he met eyes with her once more, he noticed her tongue playfully out. Leaning forward, he gently nibbled on it before simply kissing her. He pulled away soon enough though. After blinking a few times, Hiro's eyes were a vibrant red, almost glowing even. The colour was pretty enough, just a shade shy of matching the blood that flowed through Era's veins, but to anyone who knew what the colour in his orbs meant, it was anything but beautiful. Hiro could feel it, his eyes shifting, his fangs growing in. The vampire turned his head aside and refused to look at Era, afraid of her seeing him like he was. Even though she had seen him damn near at his worst, it wasn't ever pleasant for either of them and Hiro had grown increasingly afraid since.
Sitting up very slowly, Hiro got out from underneath his lover and let her stay resting gently in the lounge chair. He took off his shirt and laid it over her in case she was cold. "I... love you too..." the vampire whispered sadly. His skin was paler than death and the moonlight glimmered over him. In truth, he was quite pretty to look at, but soon all his scars were clear as anything, and becoming quite self conscious, Hiro turned away slowly. On his side there was a new scar, her name Era had been carved deep into his skin and only recently began to heal. Hiro began to walk off towards the restroom. "I'll return shortly... I'm afraid I'm feeling rather ill..." the vampire told her, though by ill he of course only meant that he was feeling more and more like a monster and couldn't be near her for the time being safely. He needed blood, even if it was only his. At least the lightheadedness would keep him calm. Era had been right to assume he was craving her blood, and it had grown to be a terrible craving. Hiro hated to think he wanted to just hold her in his arms tight and bite into her delicious neck and make love to her beautifully.

"You're not alright" Era whispered to Hiro as she rested her chin against his shoulder lightly as if tempting him to do something...anything, closing her eyes for a moment she shivered a little before she smirked slightly as she opened her eyes which where now silver in colour but still very beautiful to look at. "Why did you carve my name in your side?" she questioned gently as she moved a hand slowly and let her fingers trace lightly over the letters that were there.
Era loved Hiro more then she could express in words, moving her head slightly she gently kissed the side of his neck that she could reach as she gently laied her hand flat on his new scars. Placing her cheek on his shoulder Era looked at the side of Hiro's face that she could see clearly, to her, Hiro was one of the most beautiful person she knew; she even considered him to be more beautiful then she was. |

Hiro froze dead in his tracks when Era came up behind him. She hadn't quite thought to do so, at least he hadn't heard it, her body seemed to have just done what came natural to the loving lady. When her hands began to run over his icy skin, Hiro nearly shivered, but he still just stood there, not moving even an inch. Listening to her words, he could clearly hear the worry in her voice, though everything about the girl was still downright beautiful.
"I promise... I'm quite fine..." A slight whisper came from the boy, a smile on his face now that she placed her head near his shoulders and took in the look on his own face. Hiro couldn't disagree more though when he knew Era was thinking about how pretty he was, and if anything it wasn't his doing. Vampires were always known for their beauty and his particular feminine yet mysterious and sophisticated look was among the most gorgeous. He had often made many women jealous even without trying to do so.
When Era's fingers found their way to touch his new scars, Hiro bit his lip hard, but not out of pain, because he was nervous and didn't want Era to ever have noticed it. It wasn't supposed to make her feel happy that he thought so highly of her. Hiro only did it because he never wanted to, even for a moment, forget why he was in love. No matter how much of a monster he'd become, he could be reminded of what she meant to him. Plus the pain, or what was supposed to be pain, made him feel a bit better. "I don't ever wish to forget you... even when I'm... no longer myself", the vampire confessed. Hiro put his hand on top of hers, pressing her slender fingers into his side until they broke the weakened skin and sunk into his flesh, drawing blood. But before Era could protest, he found himself bringing her fingers to his lips and gently licking the blood off. It was such a bizarre gesture, the gentleman in him immediately felt bizarre and self conscious for the notions of a vampire.
"I apologize..." He looked away. "I don't know what had gotten into me." Though Hiro knew exactly what it was. His breathing was short and faster now, though still light enough only era's precious canine hearing would pick up the change. His heart rate was climbing. The vampire had tasted blood again, and he wanted more. Hiro clenched his other hand into a fist tightly until his palm began to bleed and his knuckles turned whiter than death.

As he said sorry softly Era shook her head a little she moved from his back and stood in front of him and gently pressed a finger to his lips, "Hiro, don't be sorry" she said with a soft smile as she placed both of her hands on his chest gently as she looked at the skin on his side which was still bleading. Deep down she knew standing in front of a hungry vampire was a bad idea when they were craving blood but she didn't care, leaning up slightly Era pressed her lips gently to Hiro's with a small smile before she moved back a little.
Without saying anything she wrapped her arms around him carefully her hands pressed against his back gently as she leaned against his chest "I know what has gotten into you...you are hungry Hiro" Era stated gently knowing she was pointing out the obvious when she didn't really need to. Gently running her hands over his back in a comforting manner she stayed standing in front of him, no look of fear ever entering her eyes nor her the look on her face which was just her looking adorable and innocent. |

Although Hiro knew it wasn't her intent, Era standing in front of him now was like a cute fluffy bunny hopping in front of a hungry wolf. Even though it was she who was really the wolf. He immediately noticed the silver in her eyes, and they were as majestic to him as they were tormenting. A beautiful shade, he much preferred her human colours and he was quite positive the lady didn't particularly enjoy her wolf side either. It wasn't like in the movies. The transformation always looked to Hiro as if it was one of the most excruciating pains his lady could go through.
But just now, as Era stood firm before him, her hands resting on his chest and her weight gently balance against him, Era's innocence sent him over the edge. Her beautiful little smile was too cute, too adorable for him to bear any longer. In the blink of an eye, or swifter, Hiro's fangs were at Era's neck. But there was enough hesitation deep within him still that the moment the poked even just a little through her precious skin, two tiny droplets of her blood against her pale neck, Hiro withdrew slowly. There was much remorse and anxiety in his eyes. Like a kitten, he licked her wounds clean, showing very much consideration and personal restraint with his act. Hiro then held her close and said nothing. He was out of words, something that hadn't quite ever happened to him often at all, if even for many folks taking him to be the quiet and reserved type.
It was true, what Era said. The vampire within him was hungrier than ever, and Hiro himself wanted to be as close to her as he could be, but he wouldn't allow himself nor the monster within him to take Era's body for his own and do with it what he will. Hiro silently refused to feed, or pleasure her. Though deep down, he wanted to do perhaps both, showing restraint was part of being a gentleman and it was what she knew him to be. Polite and wonderful, absolutely loving. Never selfish, despite what he was.
"You may not be going anywhere, Era." Hiro whispered in a calm, but incredibly sad voice. "But I'm afraid Hiro may be losing himself to this monster...."

"Well if my Hiro is losing himself to his 'monster' I'll just have to keep a closer eye on him" she said with a small smile on her face as she moved her head and pressed her lips to Hiro's once again, nibbling on his bottom lip gently she moved her lips from his as she played with the tips of his hair that she could reach.
Era locked her eyes on Hiro's searching his eyes for any hint of what might be running through his mind besides the urge to drink from her, she was keeping a tight leash on her wolf so to speak just making sure she wasn't going to attack her Hiro in a second without thinking about the situation before doing anything rash. Keeping her arms around his neck she gently nuzzled his neck with affection; listening to his breathing and his heartbeat she closed her eyes for a moment just listening. |

"If... if I let it come out again..." Hiro bit his lip hard and looked about, anywhere but at Era's eyes as he tried to collect himself and his thoughts. "... I don't believe either of us... will ever be safe." Hiro tried his best to show Era his remorse, as well as how difficult things seemed for him. Something had to happen, that was for certain, but at this rate they both probably knew one, if not both of them would wind up dead, and bloodless. Era's wolf side wouldn't ever be hurt without hurting back, wether the darling lady enjoyed that or not, and Hiro's vampire side was desperately thirsty for her blood.
Hiro held her close, his heart beating faster as he held his breath. A few long minutes later, he spoke again. "I'm afraid... I'll admit it, Era. When... when you saw me... that night I... that night I-" Again, the vampire was unable to continue speaking for a while, his thoughts too horrific. "I-I-killed them all... with my bare hands... the same ones... that hold you now... so close to me... And... you saw everything... I can't tell you how horrible I've felt since the night you saw me for what I am. The fear and horror on your pretty face... the sorrow in your eyes..." Hiro just stopped. He couldn't keep talking about it without breaking into tears, but that was something he didn't wish to do before Era.
The more she nuzzled against him, the more Hiro was dying to bite her and drink her dry. He wanted to make love to her and hold her so close, lapping at the blood that would flow from her precious little neck. Hiro darted his gaze aside and turned his head. If he looked at her and her neck any longer, he was afraid he would no longer be able to hold himself back.

Watching as he turned his head away Era took her hand from Hiro's cheek gently and placed both of her hands against his chest for a moment before she moved her hair away from her neck making her skin stand out more as she rested her head on his shoulder her expance of neck within easy reach of his mouth "Hiro....drink" she said gently as she slid her hands down his shoulders and laced her fingers with him in a gentle fashion.
Nuzzling his neck again she moved her head a little and kissed the side of his jaw a little before placing her head back on Hiro's shoulder and continued to hold onto his hands so he couldn't bite himself or get away from her to hurt himself away from her, glancing up at him she gave a small smile as she closed her eyes again her chest pressed to his waiting for the bite that she knew Hiro was craving even if he looked so well composed on the outside and to normal people who didn't know him too well would think he was very calm and normal. But Era knew her Hiro was very special to her. |

"Shh... its alright bbydoll. I'm quite fine. I promise..." Hiro whispered as Era leaned up against him and kissed his jaw. He liked the feeling of her fingers lacing with his own, though deep down the vampire knew it was just a ploy to keep him there. Her kindness was always so thorough and even though he felt much loved, there was still the fear in both of them. Even the faintest thoughts in Era's mind were clear to him. Deep down, she was probably afraid of his vampire. Hiro was too. It was alright, and Hiro wouldn't be mad at her for it. It only made him not want to be one even more. Not one ounce of his blame was placed on his lover. Ever. Hiro loved her too much to ever want her to have to bear anything difficult ever again in her life. To him, she had gone through the worst of the worst, unlike him who had always been a monster from birth. To have lost humanity was worse in his mind than to have never had it in the first place. Protecting Era was all he wanted to do. She was his darling princess.
Soon, Hiro was staring lavishly at her neck, his heart pounding excitedly, which disgusted him. Every time he felt so into her, he did his best to try and tell himself that it was sexual and human, at least, but for the most part, his physical love for her was all vampire. Otherwise, he as a gentleman found her to be the most beloved and wonderful creature to walk the earth and her beauty was unmatched. There was no way he would feel great enough to touch her sexually. Era was like a walking, breathing, work of art, perfect in every single way.
"..I... I can't..." Hiro whispered in a stammering voice. It was very apparent that he wanted to just bite into her. "If... if i do.... I can't keep you safe no more.... neither can you... unless i force you to do something horrible to me..." He shrugged a little. "Though that could be alright as well..."
Hiro leaned over slowly and kissed her neck, holding the poor girl closer than ever. His one hand found its way to her bottom and the other ran its fingers through her fine hair. The vampire licked softly at the small wound on her neck that had already healed enough to stop bleeding. It was taking all his strength to be apologetic and gentle with her bite marks, instead of just feeding off her. His care for her was like no other.

Relaxing against Hiro's chest Era let her eyes close as she listened to him, unhooking her arms from around his waist Era moved slightly and placed arms around his neck gently before she kissed his lips lightly and gently nibbled on his bottom lip; she wasn't meaning to make anything sexual out of her movements but her body was doing it's own thing though Era had more control over herself then normal.
Breaking the kiss Era looked at Hiro's eyes as she moved her right hand and placed it on his cheek "Hiro I don't want you to deny yourself anything...and I don't want you to hurt yourself just so you don't hurt me" she whispered before she kissed him again lightly but only for a second "I love you" Era added as she kept her hand on his cheek her eyes locked on his. |

Hiro sighed lightly and put his arms around her hips, gently pulling her ever so closer to his body. She felt so warm and comfortable. The cold vampire really quite enjoyed just having her against him, he couldn't ever get enough of the warmth she brought to him. It made him feel less icy and alone, inside and out.
"It's better I.. than you... you're too precious..." Hiro whispered lightly, his voice trailing away with his lingering thoughts. "Please... forgive my selfishness... we've been over this... I love you..."
Again, he grew quiet and his eyes no longer met hers, but his lustful gaze was fixed on her neck. The skin so pale and precious, her scent intoxicating. To a vampire, she was far too close and much to tempting for comfort to not do anything. But Hiro wasn't like the rest. He was doing his best not to give into what he simply was and not hurt Era. It seemed she couldn't understand how dangerous it would be for him to take a drink now, or perhaps he just didn't understand how she could be so sure of their safety. Hiro had held her down and bitten her once already, nearly against her will. He knew he could overpower her and if the vampire in him came out for a drink, it would be her last breath. The thought made him painfully sad. It was like he wasn't safe to be her lover anymore. He hated it.
But before Hiro could say anything more, his fangs were poking at his lips and there was a few drops of blood running down his chin. The taste was too much. Without warning, he leaned in and bit down hard on her neck, his control fading for what would normally leave him in check enough to be gentle with her. In one swift motion, his long, sharp fangs sunk into her neck and blood drained out all over the tile floor of the bathroom. He had hit a large vein, and hard. The taste was beyond this world for a vampire like himself. Blood was gushing out, flooding his mouth, and he loved it. Somehow, Hiro was conscious enough to notice her frail little body growing week, and with any last bit of humanity left in him, the vampire lifted her gently and sat her on the countertop, all without taking his fangs from her neck.
She grew pale and probably quite, weak, but still the vampire wouldn't stop drinking. It was far too thirsty and the lust for her was much too powerful over him. Hiro was gone and nothing more than a selfish creature bent on quenching its unquenchable thirst for Era's blood. Whatever she might say to him would surely never reach the ears of Hiro. And should he make it out of this alive, the human in him would be no doubt hurt and saddened for eternity.

Clenching her eyes closed Era leaned against Hiro for support as she slowly grew weaker "H-Hiro" she gasped out softly as she opened her eyes they were silver, without meaning too she dug her nails into Hiro's back as she continued to hold onto him tightly. The wolf in her smirked slightly as Hiro continued to drink from her, moving her head slightly Era bit down on Hiro's shoulder once again.
Her concious mind had left her just like Hiro's had left him, giving a soft gowl against his shoulder Era bit down harder as she met bone. Hearing a groan from the bone because of the pressure she was applying she smirked more against his skin; after a moment her eyes closed but she opened them quickly again she was trying to not fall asleep from how much blood she had already lost to Hiro though she wasn't mad at him even her wolf wasn't mad at Hiro. |

The vampire held no regard for himself or for the lady before him. The pain of her wolf's fangs tearing his shoulder apart to the bone only brought a strange, and sickly grin across his lips. It made him bite even harder into her neck, probably making it hard for her to even breath. But slowly, Hiro pulled his teeth out of her as if he had nearly had enough to drink. He reached to the bottom of her shirt and tore it off her without the usual care in the world, throwing the tattered garment to the stained floor. Era's petite body was now exposed and as the blood rushed down her neck and over her subtle breasts the sight drove the vampire absolutely mad! He put a hand on her breast and the other held her head, pushing her body back against the mirror by the countertop. Hiro forced her against the cold glass, it breaking into shards against her precious body and her teeth tearing out of his shoulder, leaving it little more than bits and pieces of flesh. There was still some left in her mouth but the rest seemed to be healing already, leaving Hiro just fine.
Hiro had a look of pure malice and lust in his crimson eyes as he forced her little body against the broken mirror and held her down, again biting into her neck without even asking. He was anything but gentle with her, the complete opposite of the usual gentleman in him. Hiro rested a hand on her thigh, which later stroked its way up to massage her little breasts while his other touch was on her cheek, brushing it lightly, almost lovingly before simply pushing her head aside to let the vampire get at her neck better. This was completely not like Hiro at all.
After a little bit, Hiro finally pulled his fangs out of her, after having left her neck full of many holes. He leaned his head back and savoured her taste, letting out a satisfied sigh. However, it was short lived because the moment he again looked down at her, the crude vampire found itself longing for her once more. Licking the warm blood of her neck, he ran kisses down her neck until nibbling gently on her breast. Hiro then bit into one without warning.
