Moving onto her side so she was facing Hiro Era forced her eyes back open and looked up at him tiredly "If you do go...please don't be gone...too long" she whispered before she slipped into sleep; her body giving over to how tired she truely was and it felt good to just fall asleep without worry.
This time Era didn't dream, it was just darkness that surrounded her but Era was only just aware of things going on around her as she slept; staying laying on her side facing Hiro she moved slightly so she was curled up a little more in a ball. Muttering a few things in her sleep, none of what she said was anywhere near proper words as she slowly slipped into a proper dream. A dream of a grand ball she once had to go too because of her father's position; she could remeber the beutiful dresses and how wonderful her mother looked. Era had also been dolled up by her nanny just to look beautiful for the night for any man who would want to marry her, but to Era right then everything just seemed to vibrant and perfect. |

With a little smile on his pretty face, Hiro watched Era speak softly before slipping into a deep slumber. Her body looked worn out to the brim and all in all, the vampire was simply glad to see his lover finally rest. Of course, he never once cared to realize that he himself could have benefited greatly from some much needed rest. Instead, he stood up to leave for the salon.
Making sure Era was tucked in neatly, and after kissing her gently on the forehead, Hiro left her side and put on a light coat from his closet. Shrugging his shoulders a bit and adjusting its fit, the vampire slipped on his shoes carefully and made sure to lock his suite doors on his way out.
With a light stretch, Hiro dawned his large white sunglasses and went about his business. He bit his lip the instant he went outside and the rays of the sun attacked his soft skin. Almost immediately, he appeared whiter than a ghost and there was a light sizzling sensation across his body. Soon, it grew to a full on burning. Sitll, Hiro didn't falter with his normal expression as he motioned for his chauffeur and entered the vehicle to be on his way.
The salon Hiro frequented and often worked in was a high and mighty place, completely beautiful and classy in every way, top of the line equipment everywhere. It was certainly the fancier of places meant for the rich and prissy. As he walked into the building adorned with glass doors, many friendly faces all greeted him. They all knew him well enough and respected Hiro's work in the hair and fashion industry. The beautiful vampire often offered his services and expert advice in cuts and colours, as well as being a bit model himself. He was about to take it up more seriously before he had met Era. But for now the young vampire meandered to the rear shelf full of products and began to ponder before finally picking out a few shades of brown and other assorted necessary creams and developers. Finally after taking quite some time out of his day to chat with everyone in the salon whom seemed to offer a free few minutes to strike up a conversation with the beautiful man, Hiro found himself helping out a client or two with an extravagant cut.
Eventually Hiro walked out of the salon with his items and sunglasses over his pained red eyes. The sun shone bright and burned his skin plenty before Hiro finally called for his auto to pick himself up. Hiro had walked a few blocks down from the salon, but in broad daylight he was dying considerably. His skin was burning up, but the flames were so very hard to see. It was sort of like petrol when lit on fire. Hard to make out to the naked eye. After a short drive Hiro stumbled back into his suite, desperately gasping for air and hoping the flames across his pained body would stop. Walking into the bedroom, Hiro sat on the edge of his bed and leaned forward, putting his face in his hands.

Moving a little bit more Era was behind Hiro; without hesitating at all she bit into her left wrist and held it in front of him as she pressed her chest to his back her right arm drapped over his shoulder "Please drink" she pleaded softly, even with the blankets bunched up around her waist Era still only cared for Hiro right then and didn't care that her bare back was cold nor did she care that something horrible might happen again. She was going to stand her ground and make Hiro have a drink weather he liked it or not.
Gently kissing the side of his neck Era placed her chin very gently on his shoulder and looked at the side of his face, "It's daylight outside isn't it?" she asked Hiro frowning lightly in thought; it had to be seeing as Hiro looked worse for wear. |

Hiro heard Era sit up in bed and nearly gasp after looking at his tattered body. Her soothing voice made him feel so much better though. Listening to the sadness in it, however, always tore him apart. The vampire took his face from his hands and glanced at the wrist Era had hanging over his shoulder. The crimson blood was intoxicating. Just staring at it and taking in the scent of her body so close to him was one thing, but now it was surely overwhelming with the smell of her beautiful blood. Somehow, however, Hiro overcame it just barely. He shook his head lightly and licked her wound clean. Two little droplets of blood began to trickle out again, her healing seemed a bit slower than usual. Hiro had been taking blood from her afterall.
"Yes it is, bbydoll. It's alright. It wasn't a problem at all." hiro shrugged a little and sat up. In the nightstand beside the bed, he found a hello kitty brand band aid and put it over her little wound delicately after licking it clean once more. Era may not have known, but even just that little taste of her blood made him feel so much happier and well off. He wouldn't dare bite her again.
Knowing that her bare back would be cold, Hiro reached around her and lightly pulled her blankets up over her skin a little more before carefully laying her back down and laying beside her. "I love you so much, dear. " But as he laid to rest, a little ray of sunlight peeked through his dark curtains and even through the heavily tinted windows, it burned him. With a heavy sigh, but no sign of pain though it burned immensely against his skin, Hiro got out of bed and walked to the window. The vampire stood there for a little bit, even drawing the curtains some more and taking a glance outside at the city before pulling them taught and turning around. He stumbled to the bed a little and found his place once more beside Era. Surely his body was heated and warmer than usual, being that the vampire was typically as cold as ice to the touch. Now, it was certain he was burning. Soon however, his skin calmed down and grew a bit colder, just not his usual temperature.

Era let Hiro lay back down about to rest against him she propped herself up on an elbow as she watched him move over to the curtians, about to say something when he open the curtians she closed her mouth when he shut them and staggered back over to the bed. When he had laid back down Era moved to Hiro's side and rested her head on his shoulder an arm drapped across his chest, "I love you" she said softly and looked up at him with a small smile, she knew his skin was warmer the normal seeing as she had gotten very used to his cool skin against her warm skin that she straight away was a little worried for Hiro.
Looking up at Hiro she reached up to him with her arm that was resting on his chest and gently touched his cheek "Try and rest Hiro, you need it" she said softly giving him a light smile as she placed her hand back on his chest and closed her eyes just listening to Hiro's heartbeat; Era loved being around Hiro and being in his arms no matter what.

Hiro also loved being against Era, the gentleman in himself enjoying her company very much. The comfort she always brought to him was something else. He couldn't quite ever seem to understand how he felt so relaxed, with a world of problems and worries constantly running through his head.
"I love you as well, bbydoll." he commented after her, his light whisper a bit weaker than the usual. It was true the vampire's skin was also quite warmer than usual, but Hiro was dealing with the large amounts of pain and didn't speak a word of it. Even the expression across his face was pleasant and truly happy to be with his lover. But in his eyes there was a tiny bit of worry. Being so close to Era, her scent was more than enough to set the vampire in him free but someone the human kept the monster in check for the moment.
Listening to Era, Hiro shut his eyes and did his best to rest. Even though his eyes shut and the vampire fell into a deep slumber, it was anything but restful. The most tormenting of dreams began to haunt him.
Hiro opened his eyes slowly, taking a deep sigh of pain and pleasure only to watch as an angry mob had gathered around him. Looking about, he noticed there were hoards of people, men and women, all disgusted with him very much. Immediately Hiro felt a bit confused, he didnt know where he was until the cold hard wood of a cross pained his back as he laid on it. His hands were bound to the ends and within moments, men with mallets and handfuls of silver stakes approached the vampire. They nailed his wrists into the cross and his feet, also driving more of the metal stakes into his body randomly out of hate and spite. Hiro screamed in pain for the first time he could ever remember. It was only a dream but nobody had ever seen him so discomforted by pain before.
After they raised the cross and Hiro had been hanging for quite some time, he grew delirious but not enough to not notice that people had brought his wife Era before him. The crowd had since gotten smaller as the night grew late, but there were more than enough angry men to harm his lover. And they did. There were at least 7 or 8 men, Hiro couldn't be sure he wasn't at liberty to be able to count thoroughly in the condition he was in. But all the vampire could do was watch as these men would hit her with silver chains, tear her clothing off, push her around, and then they began to cut her and do vile things to her. They sexually molested and raped the poor werewolf girl right before Hiro who was no longer himself. Since the moment the first finger was laid on her, the vampire was absolutely enraged and began to tear himself free from the cross. Braving the worst pains and losing pieces of his limbs in the process, Hiro healed himself and fell to the ground. It was too late. Seeing the vampire, the humans fled leaving Era behind, but when Hiro ran to her and scooped her up in his arms, she was so far beaten and defiled if the girl wasn't dead already she would wish she was. Era opened her eyes slowly and put a hand to Hiro's cheek before her arm fell and her body grew cold.
Letting out the most blood curdling scream, Hiro proceeded to murder everyone in the town he could find. The men that had hurt his Era, the people he ran into on the streets, people sleeping in thier homes, everyone. The vampire lost his mind and went on a sadistic rampage, murdering everything in his path until finally, he suddenly stopped. There in the distance, down the street there was a dimly lit lamppost with a shadowy silhouette beneath it. When Hiro approached it, he fell to his knees and wept. The blood drained from his eyes. There above him, was the body of her daughter hanging by her neck.
Elsewhere in reality, Hiro had started to cry in his sleep, bloodied tears running down his pale cheeks. A simple look at him and anyone could see the extremely pained expression the vampire wore. Moments later, his eyes fluttered open after only perhaps not even an hour of rest. He stared at the ceiling with a blank stare, the tears still coming from his hurt eyes.

Era lay sleeping with her head on Hiro's shoulder, the only evidence that she was alive was her slow breathing; feeling something splash onto her cheek her eyes fluttered open slightly and she wiped the bloodied tears off of her cheek. Sitting up slightly she gently wiped the tears from Hiro's cheeks "Did you have a bad dream?" she asked gently.
Era felt bad now for asking Hiro to get some rest when she knew he had bad dreams, and it just made her sad that she couldn't help him when he was asleep; she hated the fact that Hiro looked so sad that it killed her inside.

To say Hiro had a bad dream was a big understatement. It was why the vampire never even attempted to sleep, during the day or otherwise. His nightmares always left him so drained and depressed with their vivid imagery.
Hiro slowly closed his eyes, the drying blood making it hard for him to open them again a few minutes later. His breath was nearly gone but the softest sigh escaped him. Hearing Era's voice was quite comforting, because for a minute he thought maybe his dream was real. Hiro leaned over and put his arms around her, holding her close and not wanting to let the girl go. He said nothing for a few minutes, just trying not to feel horrible.
"I'm terribly sorry... it was heaps horrible....I'm so sorry..." Hiro whispered, feeling bad for having dreamt such a nightmare and worrying his Era, and for not even being able to help her in his dreams. To see her being hurt and defiled was traumatizing, wether it was in real life or in his nightmare. Hiro began to run his slender fingers gently over Era's skin, feeling for bruises and wounds. He was happy to not find any, but Era probably would be a bit confused.

Era gave a small frown as Hiro's hands ran over her skin as if searching for something that wasn't there, not asking at all she leaned against him gently and kissed his lips lightly "You don't need to be sorry about anything Hiro" she said gently with a sweet smile. Staying leaning against Hiro she watched him for a moment before she placed her head on his chest just listening to him Era hated it when Hiro was sad, moving slightly she looked up at him as she crossed her arms on his chest and placed her chin on her arms.
"Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?" Era asked gently, as normal her caring side was coming out. She just wanted Hiro to stop feeling sad, nibbling on her bottom lip lightly she continued to watch Hiro for a moment before she leaned up and pressed her lips to his once agai; staying pressed against him she ran a hand through her hair and tucked it behind her ear before she rested back against him.

"Please... please just stay beside me... I can't. "hiro spoke softly, holding Era close, but keeping enough distance because he was afraid of inconveniencing her with his cold body. "I can't stand the loneliness without you hear. "Please miss Era, just don't go anywhere, I promise I wont leave your side ever as well." His voice trailed off in pain.
With a heavy sigh the vampire closed his eyes slowly, only to have them dart open swiftly again. He didn't wish to ever dream again. Or sleep, or even close his eyes for a moment because the thoughts that ran through his mind were too deep when he didn't have the real world to concentrate on.

Resting her head on his chest Era closed her eyes "Just try and relax Hiro" she said softly as she stayed against him, one thing Era loved about Hiro was that when she got too hot at night she always had him to hug to keep her cool to an extent, opening her eyes she looked at the curtians; it felt a little strange to be in bed during the day. But lately that had seemed to be the routine she had gotten into, sleeping most of the day away with Hiro beside her and spending pretty much all of the night out and about doing things.
It didn't bother her in the slightest it just meant she was more away at night then she really should be, but Era hated for Hiro to be up and about when the sun was and wasn't going to say a word about her now nocturnal routine that she was slowly growing fond of. |

Reading her thoughts just a bit enough to get a little idea of what exactly Era was thinking of in that moment, Hiro shook his head a little bit before rubbing the bridge of his nose lightly. He sighed heavily and laid back down on his back, his arms gently around Era. The vampire's voice was significantly calmer than just a hot minute ago, a little too calm, almost unemotional even. His eyes closed slowly after staring up blankly at the ceiling.
"Please forgive my foolishness, Era...." he kept his eyes closed and listened into Era's thoughts again, without even trying. It made him sad to know she would willingly give up her days spent outdoors under the warm, bright sun and the cool breeze to spend a nocturnal lifetime with his vampirism. Hiro wouldn't stand for it. His lady would be escorted outdoors whenever she pleased and treated with the best care he could possibly give her.
"I had the most terrible nightmare... the worst part of it... our daughter... she was smiling... I saw it I swear to you it felt incredibly real.... and she was smiling..." Even with his abilities to know what people were constantly thinking, Hiro couldn't answer his own question at all. Just why did he dream his own daughter's death, in such vivid, morbid detail, and why on earth was she smiling? It was enough to drive any man mad.

"You are not foolish Hiro" she said softly before she listened to everything else he was saying, giving a small smile Era raised her head and looked at him "There is nothing foolish about that Hiro" Era said gently and placed a hand gently on his cheek in a loving fashion.
Nibbling on her bottom lip a little she continued to look at him "If anyone is foolish...it's me for letting you go out into the sun instead of me going out" Era said before she rested back against him, she loved the cool of his skin. Raising her hand again she ran her fingers gently through his hair brushing a few stray strands into place, "What's it like outside today?" she asked softly her mind not really focusing on anything in particular. Resting one of her arm's against his body where the sliver bullet still was she could feel a very dull heating sensation in her arm but ignored it, pushing the thought away Era ignored it until she shot upright on the bed holding onto he arm tightly in pain; seeing a red mark burn on her normally light skin Era looked at Hiro "Hiro...you still have a bullet in you don't you?" she asked softly pain laced her words because of the throbbing pain in her arm.

Hiro listened carefully to everything Era had to say, or at least he always made his best attempt to do so. Truthfully, she was just being as nice as ever and yet his mind was still constantly clouded with disturbing images. Did she not quite understand? Hiro sure didn't. Would their daughter really be smiling? Would she be happy to pass away? The thought made him rather sad, but it was the kind of depression not many people could understand, or recognize.
Shaking his head, Hiro glanced away for just a moment, the sad look in his eyes getting their last glance, and when he came back to meet with Era's, his eyes were brilliant. Until of course when she touched him. Seeing her pull her hand away and the slight red colour now on her arm, Hiro took it gently and kissed it.
"I'm heaps sorry, bbydoll. Here let me get you some ice." With that said, the vampire carefully left the bed and her side and went off to the kitchen before returning with a bag of ice wrapped in a towel so its not too cold. He placed it gently to her arm. "I AM foolish. you see what it does to you?" Hiro shook his head lightly, but kept his strange cool. "By the way, the weather is rather delightful out today. I'd have to say the temperature is rather mild and there is plenty of bright sun to enjoy." Conveniently, Hiro acknowledged many things, but neglected others. He never mentioned how he himself shouldn't even be out in the sunlight, yet eluded to the fact that he would take her out in a heartbeat. Also, the silver was still in his body but yet he never acknowledged it either. He wanted to leave it in there as a constant reminder.

Allowing him to avoid her question about the silver still inside of him "Well that's nice that it's so wonderful outside. But I have to insist that you don't go outside again until later" Era said smiling softly before she kissed him again and settled back against the pillows comfortably, moving the ice a little from her arm Era looked at the red mark on her skin. Deciding it could be worse she gently placed the ice back over it and looked at Hiro with a small smile "You know while you were gone I missed you" she said giving a small giggle.
