do you ever feel, feel so paper thin Six feet under screams but no one seems to hear a thing It didn’t look like he was going to leave her alone. Anastasia stood there, almost frozen to the spot, shaking like a leaf. How could she just stand there? Her friend was in danger! She had to do something, but all she could do was stand and stare, frozen with fear and wide-eyed like a deer trapped in headlights.
“L-Leave her alone!” Anastasia shouted again, clenching her hands into fists at her side. Is this all I can do? Stand here and yell?
But it worked. The vampire-child stopped and turned toward the blonde instead, making her almost regret shouting at him. She took a step back as he stepped toward her and she dropped her gaze to the ground, shoulders hunched. The Novosi. . . they’d come and chase him away, wouldn’t they? They were around her somewhere, right? Watching over her. . . they wouldn’t let anything bad happen, would they?
No. No that was stupid. . . they weren’t there when Kyla died. They wouldn’t be here now.
“What are you going to do, nice lady?”
Anastasia’s eyes widened and she looked up at the vampire boy. He looked so young, but he still towered over her like everyone else. She took another step back and grabbed her arm, shoulders hunched. What was she going to do? What did she ever do? When Kyla died, all she’d done was hide, letting her best friend fight. . . and die for her. “Nice lady?” She was too nice. For her own good, for her friends’ own good. . . .
Tears welled in her eyes and she took another step back, sniffing loudly and willing the tears to dry up. “I—I don’t. . . . J-just l-leave us alone,” she muttered with little conviction.
Am I going to stand here and let another friend die because I’m too scared?

His cold breath fanned her neck, hovering just over the location of her jugular and scar. That monster was getting closer! Those canines were pricking her skin--and he backed off to face Anastasia.
Stars circled about her head, the kind with the creepy smiles and waggling limbs, until her head cleared up enough-the back of it stung like hell still. Well, she had a lack of holy water now! Good going, Ginny. Best to bring at least five vials next time.
"Get. The hell. Away. From. My. Friend. You. Monster."
Ginny pulled out two stakes, one for each hand, and slid her purse off her arm. Fuck the nightmares, she had a friend to take care of.
"I'll send you back to hell with the rest of your kind!"
Boldly stated, but will she pull through with her threat?

Alyosha could not help to laugh at the pitiful site of a were creature, asking a vampire to leave it's human friend alone. Why did it just not go all animal like and attack him. Alyosha then remembered that their were cases when they could do it, it seemed all the kinds had a weakness or two. He still admired her bravery and for that, he was going to kill her first. Not put her threw the pain of seeing her friend die. Or he could just knock the were creature out and then make her a slave to Vampire Kiss. Lady Natallia loved having slaves, and it being a were creature might make it a better slave.
"But I'm hungry." Alyosha said in his child like voice talking to the were creature who remained still on the ground in fear. It is always felt nice to have someone paralyzed in fear with out doing much. He let his wind die down to create a silences, one he wished he could fill with the music from his violin. Alyosha got ready to knock the were creature out but the human started to move around and it caught his attention. She seemed still hurt but instead of fear, she had anger. Alyosha was very amazed at this. Here a human was standing up ready to do something for it's friend, when it's friend could only yell out.
Things were being to become very interesting, but he would have preferred it if their were not stakes involved. The human threatened him and Alyosha pretended to be hurt by her words. "Me, a monster, no. If anyone is a monster, its your friend. She can turn into a huge animal, that's pretty monstrous." Alyosha said sounding smart and half way in his childlike voice as he now had his attention focused on the human. Only because she had some deadly weapons in her and and he had to be careful. Alyosha glanced over at hi violin, to make sure nothing was bothering it, he would have left it on his back; but who knew how violent things were going to get.
"I'm not really ready to go to hell yet, I have a goal to meet. How about we just put those little stakes away and talk this over." Alyosha said trying to sound reasonable. He did not really believe that she had the skill or bravery to really come at him, if she did, he would run. He was not really planning to talk, just for her to drop the stakes and he would attack, no more stopping no matter what. This meal was being to become less worth it and at the same, he felt like he would enjoy it even more in the end.

do you ever feel, feel so paper thin Six feet under screams but no one seems to hear a thing But he was hungry. Was that really the only reason he wouldn’t o move on to someone else? Or was it because they were standing up to him, telling him that he couldn’t have what he wanted? He looked young. . . but was he really that immature? Probably not.
“I—I’m sure there are other. . . tastier people you can eat,” she muttered, stepping away from him. The wind had died down, and it was almost uncanny how it seemed to die down and then rise back up.
Ginny spoke up then, and Anastasia looked up, staring at her friend, mouth slightly agape. Even Ginny. . . ? Was it everyone but her who couldn’t speak out, do something. . . . Ginny had come prepared, and was even ready to use those weapons. If Anastasia had brought such things, she never would have used them at all. They would have just stayed hidden away, where she wished she could use them, but never could.
She always had to have someone else come save her. Daktari. Urjasz. Kyla. Zakhar. Some hunter whose name she couldn’t even remember. . . . Jack. . . . Draven. . . . Charlie. . . . And now she had a novice hunter trying to rescue her! Was there nothing she could do for herself?
“Me, a monster, no. If anyone is a monster, it’s your friend. She can turn into a huge animal, that's pretty monstrous,” the vampire said in response to something Ginny had said.
Anastasia eyes widened and she looked down at her hands, turning her palms up. That’s right. . . locked inside her was this horrendous creature, ready to kill and maim. She was afraid of that, but there was nothing she could do about it. She couldn’t even control it. But Kyla. . . Kyla was good at it after her first time. Was it because she hadn’t been afraid of what she was? Daktari and Urjasz had used their wolf forms to protect her before. . . .
Her hands clenched into fists and she started to grind her teeth together, fighting back the tears of frustration. She was so useless. Nothing but a waste of space. Something that didn’t even deserve to be protected, watched over. She hadn’t been able to help Kyla, and she wasn’t going to be able to help Ginny either.

”She still has her soul,” Ginny pointed one stake at the vampire while assuming a fighting stance typical of one who studied martial arts, “and you don’t have it. She only becomes a monster once a month, but you are one twenty-four-seven. I wonder how many humans you killed willingly. Come on, Ana, we can take him! I need your help!”
”How about we just put those little stakes away and talk this over."
Ginny just gave him a blank stare and stopped hopping in place. Did he really just ask for her to put the stakes down to “talk” things over? Hah! “Oh, yeah, sure, why not? I’ll just throw these down and I’ll be at your mercy!” The way of sarcasm was strong with this one. “You think I’m that stupid? Yeah, I’ve had many encounters with your kind before and one of them nearly killed me.” Ginny pulled her front fist back to pull her shirt to the side.
In the light, he’ll see puncture scars barely gleaming.
“I’d rather not have you add your—“ Ginny’s cellphone suddenly blared out “Psychosocial” by Slipknot and she, foolishly, looked at it. Now, she was vulnerable. (Go for it, man. Full on attack her )

Ginny had a point about the whole him being a monster 24/7 and the were creature only being it once a month. Alyosha felt a little hurt, after all, who wants to be called a monster? He was not born this way, he didn't really chose it either. It was this or death and yes he had regrets, but the past could not be changed. Alyosha cursed himself for being weak that day, but remembered the one who made him. This was for her, he had an objective to finish and he could not do that if he was dead. Getting a meal was apart of living, so it had to be done. It could be them or any body, but someone had to die, so he could keep living.
Things were no longer looking so good with the human getting all brave and not really taking into consideration his proposal, even if he didn't mean it. He felt it odd that she was really going to hurt him, a child on the outside but she might have been looking on the inside. Who he really was and what he really was. He saw the mark left behind by another his kind, apparently a failed attack. A meal seemed to be at a lost but the humans phone rang and she was distracted. Alyosha moved in with his vampire speed and attack the human. He was kind enough to bite on the other side of her neck, so he would not mess with another vampires left behind mark.
(Commencing attack!I put that he bit her, but if that's not good just pretend like he went to bite her. No kill right?)

Again, she was attacked, and her blasted phone made her drop her guard long enough for that to happen. Time seemed to slow when he rushed over. His feet splashed into shallow puddles left by the rain, scattering drops everywhere and again, down to the musky-scented cement she went. The stakes flew out of her hands and clinked and skidded across the ground.
Now, she was every bit as helpless as an antelope in a lion's mouth.
Soon as her weapons grew still, his canines plunged into the layer of flesh separating him from her life's blood, and her jaw dropped, letting out an agonized scream. Ginny clawed, kicked, punched, did everything a struggling human can but he wasn't letting go.
"ANA!" She screamed out, "ANA HELP ME! ANAAAAA!"
Again, it was happening. Ginny felt her head lighten, her arms tingling and her heart was working to try to pump whatever blood she had left through her veins. Her struggling began to slow and she whimpered out:
"Ana..."

do you ever feel, feel so paper thin Six feet under screams but no one seems to hear a thing No, no, no, no! This wasn’t happening!
Ginny continued to yell at the vampire boy, distracting him from Ana. How could she face him so boldly? So confidently? Or was she even that confident? Was she just doing her best because they were in danger? The tears fell silently from Anastasia’s eyes as she stood rooted to the spot, too terrified to move. Terrified for her own safety and that of her friend. But. . . . Why couldn’t she move? Help? Do anything? And then Ginny looked at her phone.
To be fair Anastasia glanced around to see where the sound was coming from as well, but she had the luxury of having the vampire’s back to her. Ginny didn’t. As soon as her eyes left the vampire, he was on top of her.
“ANA!” Anastasia heard her scream out. “ANA HELP ME! ANAAAAA!”
A low whimper left Anastasia and she grabbed her hair with both hands, tugging just enough to feel it, her teeth gritted. “No, no, no, no!” she muttered, now starting to pace back and forth. Not another one. How many more people was going to die for her? Because she couldn’t do shit to help them? Because she was too scared, because she was too weak to do anything?
“Ana. . . .”
Her eyes widened sharply and she looked back to see the vampire, fang-deep in Ginny’s throat. Her heart jumped straight to her throat. “G-Ginny.”
How many more friends was she going to watch die?
Don’t be afraid. You can help.
Teeth gritted, Anastasia let her hands fall to her side and she took an unsteady step forward. “Get. The fuck. Off of her!” she shrieked, her voice deepening. The transformation took only a few seconds, the sound of tearing and snapping as her bones shifted and her clothes broke free. Her skin split and was replaced with a pelt of spotted, course, tan fur. She stood at the same height of five feet, but as a hyena, it was a terrifying sight.
From her throat a snarl erupted and she lunged for the vampire, head leaning down to grab him by the arm and bite down hard. She didn’t dare try to rip him off of her, lest she hurt Ginny further, but hopefully he would be smart and drop her. If he didn’t, he’d get bit. If he got bit, would the pain be enough to force him off of her?
I’m here, Ginny!

Alyosha was right to think that the blood would taste so much better if he worked for it. It tasted the best out of any blood he had before, and the fighting made him enjoy that he did not kill her first and then drink her blood. Nothing a little human did could hurt him and her deadly weapons were dropped and Alyosha felt completely safe. Forgetting all about the little were creature, figuring she was still a frozen statue, too afraid to move to save her own friend. Which worked out fine for him, he wanted to have to fight while they ate.
Alyosha ignored the were creatures comment to get off, which was his own dumb fault. It should have been the way she said it that gave him the alert to put his guard back up, but no. He was to focused of finishing off this human, and then he would run away. Not really wanting to deal with the were creature. So it came as no surprise when he felt fangs puncture his arm flesh. The quick sharp pain caused Alyosha to bit down harder, but in fear that the animal would take his arm off, he let go. He could not regenerate an arm or anything, as far as he knew.
"Damn, monster!" Alyosha yelled out kicking up a fires sharp wind that stung the flesh and would slowly cut it. He used his skills in marshal art to swing his hardest jab and the were in order to make her let go of his arm. Alyosha did not care anymore about finish the human off, he just wanted out of there. He would use his wind and skills in fighting to break free, grab his violin, and make a quick escape. He made a mental not not to mess with a human that was with a were creature, for a while.

The pain was gone but the lightheadedness remained. Colors and shapes blurred into an abstract painting and Ginny could only blink while she drifted in and out of consciousnesses. Was she...dying? Did her time finally come?
Ginny coughed and finally blacked out. The last thing she remembered, for now, was her hot blood slowly crawling over her neck.

do you ever feel, feel so paper thin Six feet under screams but no one seems to hear a thing Her fangs sank deep into the vampire’s arm and as soon as he cried out and spun around, she pulled back on him to pull him away from her friend. All the while snarls and growls hissed through her fangs, claws scrabbling against the pavement. A wind kicked up and pelted against her fur, tearing it free from her skin and leaving a few shallow cuts, but she didn’t care.
It just made her angrier.
Powerful jaws clamped tighter around the vampire’s arm. In the wild, a hyena’s bite force measures at one thousand pounds per square inch, hers would be nearly triple that, maybe even stronger than a crocodile’s at two thousand five hundred pounds. She was about to let go, even when the vampire swiped at her.
The jab caught her in the stomach, but she just snarled and shook her head back and forth like a dog with a toy before tossing him to the side where she took up a defensive stance over her fallen friend, head low and sharp fangs bared. A few droplets of blood dripped to the ground from the wounds kicked up by the wind, but she didn’t move away from Ginny. Curved ears pinned flat against her skull, tail standing straight out behind her and every strand of fur standing on end, Anastasia watched the vampire, snarling and waiting to see if he would try again, ready to tear him a new one if he did.
Make my day, she thought bitterly, snapping her jaws and making a loud snapping sound before snarling again, daring him with her antics to come at them again.

The pain grew intense for a moment when his hit landed, and she did not let go of him. He was going to send one aiming for her ribs this time, hoping to break them. To bad he didn't get the chances before she treated him like a dog toy and threw him to this side. Alyosha was already in fighting mode, so that he could escape, with his arm. He would not be killed by a weak were creature like this, but he could be hurt badly by one. He was able to land on his to feet in stead of hitting the ground. His eyes were a dark blood red, his fangs where still bared. He licked the left over blood from his meal off his lips and teeth.
He held onto his hurt arm, the bone was quite possibly broken and he was bleeding. He hunched over low and glared at the were creature who stood over her friend protectively. He wanted to go back in for the attack, just so he could kill the monster that dared bite his arm. But, he noticed the the human was not doing do good, and could possibly die if she was not looked at. A weak smile spread across Alyosha's face as he backed up to where his violin was and used his free arm to pick it up and put the strap in his mouth. That way he could still hold his hurt arm.
"I'll leave for now monster, but remember show a little more spine next time you encounter my kind. Don't want you dead before I've had my fun with you." Alyosha said as harshly as he could but pain made it seem a little weak, but he had made his point. He used his wind to knock over any trashcans or anything lose and light to the ground the make trash go everywhere. Using it as his cover to use his vampire speed to escape, holding his violin carefully in his jaws. He would not be able to play for a while and it made him upset. "Damn, that monster!" Alyosha said muffled as he vanished out of the area.

do you ever feel, feel so paper thin Six feet under screams but no one seems to hear a thing She stared down the vampire, fangs bared and fur bristling. It looked as if he was just going to move on, but she really couldn’t be sure until he was absolutely gone. She snarled and took a step toward him when he spoke, too angry on edge to really pay much attention to what he was going on about. She just wanted him gone, whether or not it was from being torn apart by her fangs or just having him leave by his own accord.
But then he was gone after his little speech. Anastasia remained on edge until his scent faded and they were left alone on the streets. It wasn’t exactly a secluded street, but for some reason there wasn’t anyone on it at the moment. A few blocks down the street road blocks had been set up so no one would accidentally run into the giant hyena. The Novosi worked fast when they were called, and no one was going to get into that street from any connecting road.
Convinced they were safe, Anastasia snorted and turned toward her unconscious friend, head lowered and mouth shut, teeth tucked safely behind her lips and her fur was lying flat. It would be a little bit before the transformation wore off, as she was still upset and on edge.
Whining, Anastasia ducked her head down and gently nudged her friend, sniffing at her to make sure she was okay, but she wasn’t awake yet. . . .
Next to her, a vampire appeared. One of the Novosi showing up to help take care of the unconscious Ginny. Anastasia’s pupils constricted and her fur stood up on end again as she spun around and grabbed the vampire around his shoulder and just tossed him to the side like a ragdoll and then spun around, snarling and bearing her fangs. All she knew right then was that there were vampires around and her friend was in trouble.
She wasn’t aware they were just trying to help.
Another Novosi came forward, speaking to her in Russian, but she just lunged at him and snapped her jaws at him. He leaped back before he could get caught in her vicious maw. Ginny needed the help, but Anastasia wasn’t about to let anyone get near her to offer her that help.

Fear defeats more people than any other one thing in the world
Urgh. Was it night or day? With the curtains closed it hard to tell. Turning slowly on his side, Urjasz took a quick look at his alarm clock and grunted. Night time then. He had no idea how long he had slept but he felt like normal so must have done the job. Glancing at his body, he was healed as well. His night out with Anastasia had been more than eventful. It was then that the pain of her rejection returned. He didn't hate her for it but he couldn't bare to think about her just then. Looking over at the side of his bed, there wasn't even a sleeping naked woman. Perhaps he was serious after all. Getting up, he made his way into his on-suite bathroom and began the quick process of making himself presentable. Clothes shortly followed and he was out in the light of the mansion making his way to the kitchen for some food. Oddly enough he wasn't that hungry but he needed something after however long he slept.
Sitting down at the table with a simple cheese and bacon burger he began to munch away happily as he watched the house hold do their normal chores. It was always interesting to "people watch" as Malakai put it and Urjasz found himself agreeing. There was something strangely enjoyable about watching others go about their business as if you weren't even there. As if by magic Malakai himself appeared in the doorway and soon joined Urjasz with food. Sitting in silence, they both ate their food whilst watching the world go by. At the same age, they had an odd bond and enjoyed each others company. Words were not needed to keep them both happy. That didn't stop them laughing and chatting when a Novosi made the mistake of tripping on some ice coming back into the mansion and flying in through the door face first. It made them laugh even more when it turned out he was one of the more senior staff.
However the laughs soon came to an end when there was a sudden code red; lights dimming and a red light flashing in each room. Anastasia was in trouble. Throwing his food down, Urjasz was straight out the door, determined to get there as soon as possible. As he neared his car though a great pressure came down on his shoulders and he found himself flying. Malakai was in falcon form and knew exactly where to go. Urjasz simply looked up with a look of thanks and prepared for his landing. They were never soft ones. Compared to the Novosi back up who had to drive, Malakai could get him there in minutes by flying above all the obstables. Urjasz really hoped that it was quick enough to save her though. He didn't even know where she was meant to be and who with. Barely awake five minutes and he was ready to fight again.
Swooping down into a street, Urjasz was dropped from a small height near to the action and cried out thanks as he landed rolling several times. Picking himself up, he managed to avoid a flying Novosi landing next to him as he made his way towards Anastasia. There was a human near her and several Novosi. However the area stank of vampire. Typical. Making his way towards Anastasia, he was relieved that she was ok and pulling out a cigar, he lit it and made his way towards her. Walking in front of the scared Novosi, he smiled through the cigar and called out "Anastasia. My favourite person. Fancy seeing you here. And you're finally revealing yourself to the world. Good for you. But do you think that you could let that human go? Remember what you thought of me that other night. You are not that person. Come on. I know you."
He may have looked and sounded confident but it was killing him to see her so soon. She may have had a night, days or even a week to get over the moment in the car but he had only just woken; it was yesterday to him. "This is twice now that you've surprised me recently Anastasia" he continued, "first time you said no to me and we both know that was a huge deal to you. And now you're in beast form, scaring all the world. Surprise me again. Turn back to a human. Show me that you are better than your maker. Show me that you're better than Daktari. He could not turn back when he was bloodthirsty. You can. You're Anastasia. You're the nice girl from the mansion." Smoke left his mouth as he spoke and he stood before her, waiting for a response. He wasn't even sure if he was talking to Anastasia or the hyena in her but he knew both knew him very personally.
Right quick reminder I can only post once a day at the moment week days only for a few weeks, after that hopefully more often! Let the drunk posts commence!
