I've been decently good. Good enough to not be behind bars this Merry Christmas. All I ask for in return is: Ipod touch, netbook, digital camera, and one external harddrive 1 TB.

Dear Santa Claus,

I shall not get existential on you this year... or at least not too much. I will not bring into question the logical viability of your continued existence. I will, however, briefly discuss the nature of "good".

"Good", as far as I can discern, would mean I have upheld moral standards. Since I am beholden to no Church, therefore having only personal morals and the law by which to compare myself, and have broken neither of these, it would seem that I do indeed fall into the "good" category, though this is unsurprising, since I myself am deciding by what terms to so describe myself. However, I hope that, through use of logical argument, I have encouraged you to see my side of this too. I like to think you're a clever man, after all... especially since you seem to be able to travel at speeds impossible at current technological levels.

But enough of that.

My list, should you choose to be nice to me:

- A bowler hat, large.
- A glass measuring jug, since I partially melted the plastic one.
- Memory for my laptop.
- Mary Beard's most recent book about Pompeii.
- A colourful rug for my university room.
- A "Teach Yourself AS Level Maths" book.
- Any Arthur C. Clarke books you can lay your hands on, except for "Rendez-Vous With Rama".

Many apologies for that little mishap last year and the year before that. I was having a bad Christmas Eve like I always do. Hopefully I won't be having any coffee fueled rants after watching It's A Wonderful Life. All I would like for Christmas is a flaming bee covered midget launcher capable of putting a certain place in the UK within firing range. If you could handle that I promise I won't try to collect your skull for entering my house without permission.

I know I'm a very...on again off again type of girl, but you have to admit that this year I've been mostly on. I haven't purposely made a child cry all year, and I haven't injured anybody except myself. And that was an accident. So if you would be so kind this year, I would particularly enjoy...

*Finally getting a job...seriously.
*Going to see my family so they can finally meet my husband.
*A pet. Possibly a kitten, but I'll settle for a snake or a gineua pig.


I think that's everything I really want. Of course you could always get me a mansion with no bills to pay, or a castle somewhere or something, but that's up to you.

I'm out of chocolate chips for the cookies. And we don't have a chimney, I'll leave the door unlocked.

I know yeah, i am at the top of the Naughty list, but, give me another chance.

I know this might seem like i belong at the top of the Naughty list still, I would like Amethyst and head on my wall. As for everything else, i would like what Sam puts it, Orgasam on a disc called Left 4 Dead. Along with that great new Need For Speed: Undercover. Oh and could you also kill Amoura?
